Not sure if Mike will see this question or not, but:

Did Mike increase the 'fatigue' that hits when moving with the ball with the left analog stick in order to stop people from running around trying to fire up shots? I'm on my Shot Creator, and once I create the space after a couple dribbles, my midrange fadeaway are dropping into the low-B to mid-C grade range, with nobody within 5 feet of me. This hasn't happened all year, but I've been getting a TON of it today.

I believe so. I was driving from the wing to the rim and would be out of energy before I made it to the basket..

I remember hitting a game winning 3 on 2K14 in an elimination game in the Finals and I felt so nervous when it left my hands I paused my game. Now I'd know it was in, it's just not as fun hitting jumpers anymore.

Isnt there an option to turn off the shot meter?

Not even just the stamina. Remember when Mike tuned the game to where he said moving around too much with the left analog stick (while holding the ball) would begin to degrade the grade and quality of your shot? He assured us that's Shot Creators would be mostly unaffected. And it has been like that for a while.

But today, I think it got tuned so hard that Shot Creators are actually feeling it now. I'm not one of those guys who scream '2k patched/changed my archetype!' every time I have a bad game. I normally just chuck it up to a bad game and move on. Today, though, when I played from about 11am till 5pm, I noticed I was consistently getting crap grades on wide open moving shots. This was an all day thing, not just a game here or there.

That's what leads me to believe he tuned that behind the scenes, and never mentioned it

Been getting penalized on catch and shoot situations, pass to open player and if I shoot immediately in rhythm there seems to be a penalty like the game doesn't think he's set properly or moving. Relatedly I don't think the Difficult Shot badge is effective after the changes.

Vid? There are some shots that may be catch and shoot but still technically moving shots. Not saying that's what it is but it's a possibility and it is hard to really say anything with how short your description is.

I want to get "green releases" on my dribble moves and automatically break people's ankles 100% of the time because I know the timing of my snatch back animations on my Playmaker.

This is the stupid logic people are arguing about having the shooting so easy if they know the timing, yet imagine if that was implemented for dribble moves, rebounds, blocks etc. The tears would create an ocean within minutes.

Let's just add greens for everything! So I can shout YEAH BOI GREEN LIGHT like a drooling moron every time I jump for a rebound, reach for a steal, take a charge. So many more opportunities for the mouth breathers to pause the game that way!

Ridiculous.

So... what's is happening to shooting rn? Had stretch big lose the ball and then pick it up and do a turnaround three from limitless and splash 4 times in one game... how?

Check the thread on "voting" - he answers some questions there.

But yea i agree - they clearly care more about arcade than they do sim. He says something like "equality" - and i bought it at first - but then i remembered that 2k has never been about equality online when it comes to satisfying sim players. It's always more arcade than sim. So that's a bs statement wang. And i said it over there too.

For once listen to sim players if you want good feedback going forward - the only feedback you're going to get from arcade is "let me hit every shot, let me break ankles 24/7, give me more more more".

On the opposite end - we sim players just want things to be more challenging/realistic. Yet apparently our wishes are the ones to be ignored.

Make your job easier and just listen to us for once. Only like 5months till 2k18 - the arcade guys already had 2k17 all this time - let us have it for the remainder.

Or you don't actually care about sim. You want to preach "balance" well act on it. For both sides not just one.

I buy that the shooting system has limitations - but i don't buy that you care about sim players as much as arcade. The proof of that is very small across 2ks online lifetime.

There are tons of changes to be made on behalf of sim - not just shooting.

And those of you who enjoy sim/want sim - i'm disappointed in you for not speaking up in response to him. Mike is making the effort to change things and yes that's appreciated - but it's clear it's hardly ever for us sim guys. The effort is appreciated - the actual delivery is not most of the time. And that's what it comes down to.

Listen to us. Don't just talk about it - show us the equality between playstyles. Right now arcade steps all over us. Not just this year - but previous years as well. There's been enough time to proof loyalty to sim in the online aspect. By now you might as well just call it "2K Arcade 17". I only hope 2k18 doesn't continue the trend.

Whatever changes are made to make the game more sim/realistic are appreciated - but it's clear arcade reigns.
