Bumping because it's not even close to time of letting this thread leave the first page.

It's going to come in Handy next weekend.

Hopefully we would still get some interaction by then, couple of great q's and suggestions within the last pages ... sincerely wish it doesn't sounds as a knock on OG, as am sure this time around is though to find time to also come in here, but rather as a compliment on how much interactivity we have in the other thread ... specially after that other thread, I am nervous about how the AI can fare against such jump on the O side of the court, then again, maybe that is exactly why, he might be still working hand in hand with devs on ironing things or bringing even more guns to the fight.

I know OG had to go to New York so that could be part of it.

Still alot of people wont care to talk about defense unless they cant play it to complain and gripe.

Its kinda wack though because they have so many options available its ridiculous

Indeed ... and knew there was a reason, not that he needs one tho.

Oddly enough, I will be one of those that wait until I have the final game in my hands (wont even download the prelude, as I am already sold), thus not to complain but to train and practice and have plenty of matches and live all kinds of situations to then try and make suggestions .... having said that, there are some great suggestions from others in here from the ''little'' we have seen ... also, something that I need to realize is not to judge future 2k staff interactions based on the other thread ... the sim prez upped the bar tremendously (which was already very high to begin with) of what we have come to expect in terms of dev/producer interaction with the community.

I cant wait for the game and for more discussions and interactions, with people as customer oriented and as knowledgeable as OG and Da_Czar !

Man, yall see what Da Czar is like from that but I wish I could really tell you.

            The dude is DOPE.

I don't know how much they'll be able to talk (and should be let alone to get a rest because they work way too much) but enjoy it while they're here.

All I can tell you is we are beyond blessed, more than most of us realize to have a dude like this around.

            You have no idea lol

Hopefully can get some insight into this.

Watch Pippen on the Pistons inbounds play (4:24) - sorry couldn't work out the embed/time start thing.

What on earth is he doing?

Hoping it's either a one off freak occurrence or it's a coding issue that can get cleaned up. Can see this sort of thing killing people's experience in close games etc.

Hopefully some of the worthy suggestions and observations spread around the multiple videos threads, make their way into this thread so it gets noticed and addressed (full court passes effectiveness, AI momentary brain death, positioning to better defend certain schemes, etc), specially those with gifs, pictures and/or videos of the issues and propositions.

this needs to be acknowledged. this is the same defensive issue from last year when the cpu ai would spaz out and lose track of their man and the basket. none of the new defensive features matter if something as fundamental as this is bugged. as much as this was talked about last year im just puzzled why it wasn't addressed. I saw it happen in gento's park gameplay vid several times where it would/could have ended up with a wide open layup or dunk. this deserves it's own thread imo.

I agree - at one point Grant Hill curls into the lane and is open for a layup/dunk. If the AI gets 2 points in scenarios where I REALLY need a stop because I can't depend on my AI defenders (with Scottie Pippen's IQ level) to not "spaz out"......I'd need a supply of controllers (from all the ones I destroy).

I think this is an issue worth talking about/acknowledging. If this is something that a day 1 patch fixes, it would be nice to have it confirmed by someone if possible.

This is one of my biggest complaints/criticisms of 2k and it's "Sim" nature. I have rage quit more than I care to admit, or go off to cheese the cpu right back when these things happen. I can still get the win, but it's not a satisfying win because you feel like the game isn't providing you a legit competition, instead relying on cheesiness to win.

I've got so many clips of my CPU teammates spazzing out, making weird glitchy movements at the most inopportune times (when the CPU is in need of a bucket, or during the CPU super runs). It forces your teammates out of position, allowing wide open looks. Then the killer, when it forces your user controlled player into one of those glitchy animations, after you've successfully stopped their attempt, only to allow them to go ahead for the score.

I don't mind losing, as long as it's a legit loss. If I don't execute, or I lose my focus, then awesome. If the CPU team has an "ON" night, and is firing on all cylinders, cool. But don't force my players to do things to allow cheesy buckets. That infuriates me. I know Scott isn't to blame on this, as it's been in 2k for YEARS. I hope that its findable, and fixable.

yup, and this involves scottie pippen on superstar difficulty... no excuses lol. i don't mean to sound overly dramatic or passive aggressive, but this right here is keeping me from preordering... it drove me absolutely nuts last year. hopfulyl we hear from scott, or even czar about this.

Yall acting like Scottie did not have even a single brain fart in his career. If it is consistent with goat level defenders then I call it a bug. Even best defenders like Kawhi, Dray make mistakes or get shook.
