The wrestling animations have nothing to do in a basketball. Whoever put those in the game should be fired because I seriously doubt they can even spell the word basketball correctly.

Not 100% sure, but pretty confident my block maxes out at 98 and steal maxes out at like 92 (I'm at work otherwise would look). Also, I'm almost positive I have gold rim protector, gold chase-down artist, and gold defensive stopper.

      You don't.

2k shtted on this build. You wasted you time with this. Not saying it can't be good, but why trade it for Pure Post Scorer?

Edit: I'm talking 2 way post scorer. I see you made a RP/PS.

2 way Post Scorer with defense is trash. Is there a way to contact 2k? It needs to be buffed

I think it's finally time for me to make my post scorer. I have entered the dark with the sharpshooters but I have to return home and make a post scorer.

What's the consensus good build for post scorers? Pure? Shot creating? 7'1? 7'2? Max weight?

The playmaking post scorer not worth it?

7'0" PF shot post or 7'3" C pure post are the two best post builds this year IMO.

You need as much height as possible so that defenders' shot contests don't penalize you as much, because most of the post moves just aren't able to create a ton of separation due to how overpowered the shot contest mechanics are right now against fades/hooks/drop steps.

The playmaking post scorer not worth it?
There's no need to put playmaking in the build since the shot post and pure post already come with the playmaking badges.

Would I not be super slow at 7'3 or does speed not matter that much

Good luck making a 7 footer if you play a lot of rec or pro am. You'll almost always get matched against a 7'3" center and get killed on boards

7'3s are BBQ chicken, man. Super slow, terrible on offense. It's funny that they've actually been LESS effective than 2k17 the last couple years but everyone's still acting like they're the meta.

I had a 7' pure athletic last year and, yeah i gave up some boards and points... But i demolished them when i was on the right team. That guy was unstoppable in transition and the 7'3s were never able to keep up on the break.

This year i have a 6'10 pure athletic PF who's a 75 overall and i may not out rebound a lot of people, but with 82 off ball speed there's no way they can keep up on the break.

That's tough to say 7'3" builds are bbq chicken while you have a ovr 75 player and probably haven't played much online

My OVR 93 Pure Post has no issues with speed or scoring. Pro 1 in rec

MY 6’10 Rebounding Shot Creator SF, kills ALL bigs, especially those slow bigs. Pro 3 in rec and Park, 87 win%. He’s a monster on the glass and offense and I can post clips and statlines against actual comp too.
