Re: NBA 2K19 Teach Me How To Thread : Tips, Plays, Defense
Fadeaway = point your left stick away from the basket and hold shoot
Step back = point your left stick away from the basket and tap shoot
Shimmy fade = hold both triggers (left and right), let go of your left stick and keep it completely neutral, then hold the right stick away from the basket.
Also, how do I do a spin move from the post (used to be rotate to whichever direction is facing away from the basket.Comment

So is there anyway to do euro without the right stick because the controls say otherwise and it’s not working
I'd love to know how to do that absolutely filth Harden stepback.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 Teach Me How To Thread : Tips, Plays, Defense
How do I run the “series” plays or sets??
Pause the game and go into your coach settings, then make sure that ACE is off, playcalling is set to manual, and play art is set to full + show all.
For set plays:
Tap the left bumper, then press the icon of the player whom you want to run a play for. Use the left and right triggers to scroll through the pages in your playbook.
For series:
Tap right on the dpad, then press the Y button to change your offense's primary focus to series. Use the left and right triggers to scroll through the different series offenses.
For freelances:
Tap right on the dpad, the press the left bumper to bring up the freelance offense screen. Use the left and right triggers to scroll through the different freelance offenses.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 Teach Me How To Thread : Tips, Plays, Defense
I really wanna know how to pull off this move that Ben Simmons did in the trailer. The running post hook. Anyone done this yet?

Make sure you're between 10 and 15 feet from the rim and moving laterally, though moving slightly towards the FT line may be more consistent, and make sure the right stick is pointed in that same general direction otherwise he'll do a stepback instead. And it only seems to work from the left side, not the right. Try it out!Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 Teach Me How To Thread : Tips, Plays, Defense
Only have been playing MyCareer so far. Made a 6'9 240lbs Playmaking ShotCreator SF. After the prelude put the difficulty to HOF and it seems I cant stay in front of anyone for the life of me.
I can still be active defensively getting steals and blocks, but it is really troubling to stay in front of the ballhandler. Granted Im on the Pels and sometimes guard the 2 but I really cant keep anyone in front.
Anyone else experiencing? With the L2 lockdown gone, using RS has been iffy.Comment

Does anyone know WHAT EACH icon means in game? I have no idea what the individual trait icons mean, other than obvious ones like the bulleyes , but I can't find anything about them. I don't care about my player stuff, I'm not into those modes, I'm an online or franchise kind of guy. I'm old

I have noticed that the settings are harder in general... I play at PRO, and do allstar to challenge myself. Have been getting wrecked on all star this version, and can barely keep up on pro. I moved it down to rookie but changed the sliders so they're more challenging. Liking it more now...Comment
