The Ben Simmons running hook shot is real easy to trigger on absolute controls.

The ball just has to be in his left hand.

Then you run straight ahead until you get to the free throw line and hold up on the right stick (without turbo) to make him throw up the running hook with his left hand.

You can do it from a straight-on angle on a fastbreak, or you can do it in a half court setting if you catch the ball in the right corner and run into the paint in a straight line.

Anyone know what the knew “Four Corners”, “Grey 5” and “Grey 5 Elbow Iso” defensive adjustments do?

I remember listening to Scott’s live stream and he said something about there being an adjustment to 5 out? Is that one of these sets?

              Random tip.

If you find the triple threat slow or hard to combo, use the RS down pump fake first then the second or third jab.

              It works much smoother imo.

Another tip for the triple threat is to combo the jabs with the escapes and size ups done by hold RT/R2 and flicking RS left, right, up or down. Left and right are the side steps/escapes, up is a size up and down is a stepback.

Reverse layups are the shot type that draws the most fouls for me, both from the weak-side help defender and from the on-ball defender.

                      How do I:

                      1) Protect ball with guard at the top of the 3 point line, standing still

                      2) Make it so that when I press R1 (PS4), my pass icons come up, and when I am not presssing R1, I am ready to shoot by pressing square? Sometimes, I take my finger off the R1, and the passing icons are still there, so I cannot shoot by pressing square.

                            1. Hold LT

                            2. Holding R1 and pressing it are different functions. For icon passing you need to hold it.

I could be wrong about #2 because I'm not home to check, but pressing R1 again should get drop it.

Approching MyCareer and always been PG because I wanted to call set plays as other role weren't able to.

                              Is the same this year?

Press the steal button as soon as the pass animation starts to go after the ball on alley oops.

I can't speak from experience, but I heard someone say that you could call plays at any position if you have playmaking as your primary archetype. You might have to get to a certain overall rating to unlock that ability, though.

Also, any time that you get put at the PG position during a 5v5 game, you'll be able to call plays, regardless of your archetype.
