My strategy is as follows:

Make a created player..player lock him in myleague..play till I have 100K VC..THEN I play mycareer. Works nicely for me every year. No EFFIN WAY I'm playing a single game in Mycareer at 60 overall lol.

MyLeague is outstanding as usual.

THIS. Creating a player, playing his career out with some high school/college rosters, then assigning him to an nba team is CRIMINALLY underrated. It's an amazing experience.

Like, I don't understand why people don't play myleague? Draft classes, total global control of the league as a whole. It's the peak 2k experience for sure.

Because like I said I’ve been a long time fan and still hold foolish hope that the dodgeball and scooters craze 2k is on right now subsides and they pay attention to real nba basketball and actually update players, courts and accessories to 2018

They have literally paid more attention to the NBA portion of the game than any hoops game ever. Did you read Czars blog? What about the MyLeague blog? Neither have anything to do with the park or scooters or VC. But whatever. I'm not here to convince anyone of anything but this notion of only caring about park stuff is bogus. Yeah, the online stuff is a huge part of the gane. But the NBA side is as deep (and getting deeper each year) than ever. Regardles, the direction isn't changing and why would it. You may as well let that foolish (that you admitted) hope you got of whatever changing go and move on.

2K and online/My Park/MY career players is like a toxic couple relationship where both sides are only with the other because they both can benefit from it but in reality they hate each other =)

I would take user reviews with a big grain of salt... Seems like they either tank the hell out of a score to be spiteful or they go way too far in the other direction and overhype a game to death... There's legit no middle ground that I've seen lately... Plenty of games that had crap scores turned out to be awesome games and plenty of games with high scores have turned out to be duds for me... Metacritic can be a bit toxic with the user reviews

It doesn't help that 2k and Take Two has been squeezing online player's pockets for years BUT if you guys would stop buying VC maybe it would curve the issue some... How do you spend hundreds of dollars willingly and bitch about it the whole time? Makes no sense... Either stop dealing with those modes and force 2k's hand or shut up about it... Been hearing the same complaints since 2k16 yet y'all still buy into the BS expecting things to change... At the end of the day they are a business, not your buddy, they are trying to find ways to make as much money as possible... If you keep shovelling money their way you think they are just gonna say "nah we're good we have enough money"? No... They are gonna find even more ways to exploit your pockets... Vote with your wallet... Not your whining in forums

This makes no ****ing sense. The main game got plenty of love. The smart AI from Czar, arena lighting got a bit of love. If all you see are scooters and dodgeball then you're focusing on the wrong damn mode.

This is straight up annoying. Do people just focus in one mode and bitch about it? ONLINE league got a huge bump this year. Again Czar has made some great strides on how the CPU reacts on plays. Some of you guys are straight up trolling. Hell red flags should be "I've been playing since nba2kxx" we all know that's bull****. No true fan ever says that because a true fan knows exactly what they are getting. Talk about agenda posting.

They lost me as a long time fan.
Their target audience is the fornite crowd now who love meaningless additions and throw money at them through micro transactions which really, if people continue to do it they can’t be blamed for.
But nba basketball has taken a back seat for a game that has nba in the title which is really unfortunate

19 brought me back to loving 2k again. I didn't play 18 very much, but 19 is a blast for me. I don't plan on buying any VC, I know I'll get my money's worth. The game for me, plays magnificent. I'm more of an offline play with friends guy, but there's a lot to like about this game, still the best basketball game on the earth.

The frustration doesn't just come from ONLINE players... From having one of the best OFFline games ever to now having the bugs and lack of concern for correcting particular areas of gameplay are the reason I haven't even purchased the game this year for the first time in 12 years.

I saw it all coming, it's been a slow boogie.

They need to stop trying to tow the line. MYPARK GUYS DONT WANT AN NBA SIM EXPERIENCE GAME... MAKE THEM THEIR OWN GAME AND MONETIZE THE MICROTRANSACTIONS.

& SIM GUYS DON'T WANT PARK ANIMATIONS , GAMEPLAY AND RESTRICTIONS THAT AFFECT OFFLINE MODES IN EFFORT TO STUNT OR HELP PARK GUYS.

As long as 2k stays part of Take-Two nothing will ever change. Or in other words as their CEO said this year: "We havent monetarized the players enough".

I know they said they plan to push micro transactions even more, but did he actually say THAT?! Verbatim?!
