I'm still a fan of patches when they do what they are suppose to do, fix bugs/glitches and improve the game. But it's another story when it turns into developers making unnecessary changes because people are crying about every little thing they don't like about the game.

Wow unbelievable. Just played 3 park games. The players move like they are on crack, sometimes so fast its uncontrollable. How, I mean, how can this go through any testing without being noticed...Comment

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
Something in the near future is going to have to give with 2k...cause the park mode has definitely overshadowed the NBA experience of the game especially now that everybody wants to be a YouTube star/Content Creator...we really might need 2 separate games.

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
Don't know if it's just me, but I don't remember 2K getting this type of backlash when they were touted as the number one basketball simulation on the market and were a company focused on gameplay. It looks as if the best thing to do is for them to have two separate games. They'll still make money. There will be people that want to play sim ball and enjoy the gameplay. And then people can also enjoy MyTeam, MyPlayer, YourPlayer, HerPlayer and all that jazz. Only way to please everyone.#HeatNation

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
Complaining about a mode like MyGM is one thing (like I have done) but when it comes to somebody losing their job, that doesn’t sit well with me. Ronnie2k has a job to do and he must do it well because he’s still doing it. If people don’t like to hear what he has to just say then block him but if you’re desperate for info and to consume what he has to say then you’re buying into the hype machine which is itself part of the problem. Just doesn’t sit well with me calling fro somebody to lose their job.Comment

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
Just #leavethegameplayalone 2k. It's your own precious work; you kept on working hours and hours and hours, devs did a tremendous job on gameplay, there has come leaps and bounds, there is no such year that a game can be this finished and this much changed and this balanced in this short period of time.
Off the charts i can say, the gameplay is beatiful, i'm not saying perfect because the real life ain't no perfect either, the real NBA is nowhere near perfect but 2k20 gameplay is beatiful, full of real basketball and physical elements in it. Best ever basketball video game created. Best of its genre Ever. Amazing work done, i don't remember the last time i got the same feeling in a video game of basketball.
Just do yourself a favor 2k and devs who might be lurking, protect what you created, don't cave in to those crybabies.
Twitter is toxic, everyone thinks they are no1, they all know everything; other than they don't know Sh.t.
The youtubers are nutjobs, all they care is $ they are going to make for themselves.
Publicity in every sense is good 2k, don't be afraid from them. Use it to your own power. Fifa sells a lot more than yours and they get bashed a lot more than yours but they don't come out and release patch in 3 days after reading some tweets and watching some bums on yt playing the game and telling what not. Fifa stands grounded, protect their work and let it as is except they tweak minor and technical stuff ofcourse but they don't change the gameplay after some tweets.
What may i say even more i don't i would just repeat myself here. 2K devs please, just hold tight, keep your work grounded, stand still and believe that you did an amazing job of gameplay. You know it, we know it.

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
I haven't gotten to play with the update yet, so I can't speak on how it feels yet, but just reading this news is so frustrating. The devs did an absolutely amazing job with the gameplay this year. Honestly, I would've been perfectly content if they didn't change anything from what I experienced this weekend.
I hate that 2K must always appease the ultra-vocal social media community, especially considering that most of their requests are so far away from what actual basketball resembles in the real world. They just want some wild west ****, where nobody ever gets tired and you can consistently hit jumpers from behind the halfcourt line. Just ugh.
If 2K is going to cave to these people every year, why not just let the neighborhood be a place where all the craziness happens, and leave the 5-on-5 modes alone? The kids and cook boys could still do what they do, but those who want to play something more realistic would still have a place to go as well.
I'm hoping that the game doesn't feel too bad when I fire it up later. We'll see.
I honestly wish at some point 2k just says screw it, releases a game, and doesn't touch it for 2 months or so aside from bug fixes until it's time to reevaluate the meta. This is like if Netherrealm Studios decided to patch Mortal Kombat 11 after 3 days because the gameplay isn't as fast-paced as MKX was. People adapted to the speed of MK11 and now it's one of the best technical fighters ever made, IMO.
Just be proud and confident in your work, 2k. You're letting 14-year-old kids run your service and it's embarrassing.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
People are rightfully pissed about the disconnects and server issues.
The only reason anyone is complaining about the game being slow is
1. Mycareer/Park/Pro am players playing with no quickfirst step, stop and go, and no downhill badges. All those badges make you feel quick and fast and up the pace of the game immensely (at least for Rec and 3v3).
2. Becauase they play only Park or Mycareer and have no badges, they don't notice that...the fast players in the league like Fox, Westbrook, Wall, and even Kyrie can all play at a fast/quick speed. Which they made thier players for. But have none of the badges those guys have that lets them play at that level.

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
If they end up changing the game, you have to wonder who's influencing the decisions, and who ultimately makes the decision, because its clear that you guys are on the realistic side for gameplay, but if they do end up changing the game, you'd have to wonder why they were influenced so much by the other side.Comment
