        However in that thread, they had it set to 90 with Defensive Awareness at 40. If applying it to this particular set/framework, one would try 99 and 32 respectively.

          I would also guess the Contest Shots tendency plays a part, as well as the Jump Shot Defense Strength sliders. I know increasing the (Release) slider leads to better/more aggressive shot contest animations, but I haven’t tested to see if it has an affect on pump fakes.

            Currently on a 6 game losing streak with the Sacramento Kings. Having a lot of trouble with CPU offense. Focusing Fundamental and Tactical training on Defense. Being more active with Defensive Settings before and during game. After changing my playbook to feature my main scorers more, I was able to put up a decent FG%.

            The sliders are posted and my losing streak has extended. These are the most difficult sliders I've played with yet. I may need to take a look at CPU Shooting/User Jump Shot Defense, but I will continue with this set for at least 6 more games. It will be great to see who can win against these sliders and their tactics/playstyle. Good Luck!

              Kings vs Hornets continues the losing streak (including consecutive 21-er). I've changed the strength to be equal, but the shots are still falling for the CPU. Can't give up any shots easily or everything else seems like too much. Continuing for a few more games before changing the CPU Shooting/User Jump Shot Defense.

                New change: Raised both User Hustle and User Hands from 16 to 32. With these changes I was able to keep a short-handed Pelicans team to sub-50% shooting.

                I think the main effect I am seeing from these changes is an increase in quickness/acceleration/hustle on defense for the user. With hands I'm seeing fewer bobbled passes for the user.

                Particularly in the 1st and 4th Q, will be closely assessing difficulty in this game: Kings (6-23) versus Suns (13-19).

                GAME OVER: After a comfortable 1st Half, I got lackadaisical. The third quarter was a 14/17 FG, 5/7 FT showing from the Suns. In the 4th quarter we locked in but couldn't come back in time. Overall, I'll stick with the hustle and hands changes, updating the front page now.

                  First. If you're on PS4, go ahead and play some GoW.

                  Second, back with streaming (SPURS vs. KINGS) and now that the sliders are posted, I will begin posting some stats. I'm currently using 9 minutes and Sim to Normalized Stats so I'll be showing both.

                    Expanding the acceleration movement sliders and increasing the strength have helped bring individualized weight and agility to the forefront for me.

                    After getting blown out by Warriors, going on the road vs Clippers. Pre-game, did scouting, made coaching adjustments as i thought needed. Team talent not so distant. Good test for this set.

                      Hi, I haven't tried your sliders yet but I am going to. Just a question about a thing that I've been thinking about lately. I see that you didn't put any difficulty as a starting point, does that make any difference, if you start from rookie vs if you start from hall of fame, or custom difficulty is custom difficulty and the only difference between the sliders in 2k18 is the number that is attributes of USER vs CPU

                        I currently start from HOF.

                        To answer your question more directly: I have not really tested the difference between Rookie-HOF regarding this or any other slider sets. I've read that the change is seen in how the CPU ACE makes adjustments.

                        I'll post the most recent set with movement/strength changes after this game, but they are currently uploaded as base2

                          A road loss to the Clippers. This game got away from us in the second half. This was using 9 minute quarters. Will post Sim to Normalized Stats after current game.

                              An Update & For 12 Minute Players

                              I have continued to update these sliders. The most recent change is upping the user OFF and DEF Consistency (8 and 4 respectively). I am assuming this will make a change in the level of consistency for made shots (assuming they are good shots). The DEF Consistency change hopes to make the team more likely to follow as expected and more consistently regarding the individual DEF Settings.

                              FURTHERMORE, I had not tried these with 12 Minute game play yet and I hope to amend that. I am streaming now, currently on a 9 game losing streak.

                                Continuing a few more games on 12-minute quarters.

                                A few notes...
                                Movement feels better with an wider spread on acceleration sliders, although I originally assumed speed changes would be needed as well.

                                Defense doesn't feel impossible. I believe the past few games were below 50% for CPU. However, even against lower teams, when I don't make Def Settings adjustments for each player, the result is an overwhelming CPU Offense.

                                The consistency change has done as expected in the past couple of games, making my team offense (particularly shooting) more consistent from play to play, when/if we get into a rhythm early.

                                Def consistency may be the issue or not. It was telling that one of the shots I felt I had a hand in the CPU's face, I heard a commentator mention that they expected the shot to go in. I use those blurbs to understand what the game is expecting to happen.

                                My team was unbalanced, particularly for our bench Defense so I made a trade. Currently streaming vs Warriors on the first page.
