    Current game up vs Spurs

    vs. Portland
Great game for my team. Finding balance for User Def is tricky. I think I, like many teams struggle with shooting bigs. This team had none, and we played lockdown Def.

One more game and then I will apply updates to the Main Post and to PSN.

Home game up against a Spurs team featuring Clint Capela and Kevin Love.

Took the L vs Spurs. Very high scoring game with high FG% overall.

Sliders have been updated on PSN and are reflected in the main post. The main differences:
+ USER/CPU Hustle (for slightly quicker movement)
+ USER/CPU Backdoor Cuts (assume that players will react more aggressively to being overplayed/fronted off-ball)
+ USER Lateral Quickness (to match with CPU)
+ USER Def Consistency (assume that players will more consistently follow Def Settings and help more intelligently)

New Orleans Pelicans (User) @ Portland Trail Blazers (Cpu)

Soooo I don't even know what to start with. The sliders where really good and first of all they were realistically difficult with many lead changes and a 15-2 Blazers run which determined my loss. The cpu didn't feel cheesy at all, the movement was fine (I would slow it down a bit to resemble RS rhythm this is some playoff intensity level), the cpu tendencies are perfect and so is shooting for both sides. Turnovers are on point (NBA range is about 10-15) and so are blocks and steals(7-9). Last but most important *THE CPU FINALLY GETS TO THE LINE ENOUGH*. I hope the results I got here keep consistent.

Also you managed to fix rebounds As Boogie only grabbed 7 rebounds (it happens in real life but on HoF and also other sets he would average like 20 per game which is not realistic at all even for such a good rebounder)

The only issue (apart from that movement aspect which is not really an issue) is the cpu and ones. They are pretty ridiculous at the moment as they will score through fouls like it's nothing. Decreasing the and ones would also lead to a cpu free throws attempts increase that would be finally the fix this game needs. Great job on these [emoji108][emoji817]

I also want to precise that fga on the user side are so low because of my slow pace style + we went to the line enough. Maybe the Spurs or the Celtics would fit me better lol.

          Here's the box score

I very much appreciate the great information and feedback. Would love to watch gameplay, but I think I can understand the playstyle you described.

            Contact Shots..
Tl;dr: lower Contact Shot Success OR CPU Layup Success by one level.

I see what you are seeing regarding the frequency they go in. The simple response should be to lower contact shot success. I haven't yet because I preferred the threat of it to force me into more fouls.
My tendency on defense is to put my hands up instead of going for aggressive block attempts. The CPU scorers go right thru that as you've probably seen. The balance im looking for is maintaining the threat while being rewarded for good defense on non-scorers/non-finishers. What I'm trying now is going for steals if I get beat off the dribble and generally being more aggressive/physical in the paint. If the imbalance seems unmanageable, I would look at Contact Shots Success for CPU/User first, CPU Layup Success next, and User Layup Defense (Release) last.
Were the players going and ones good/great b finishers?;Were they scoring and-ones on particularly great paint defenders? Are you more aggressive or more conservative as a defender in the paint?

            Game Speed...
I'm surprised you mentioned preferring a slower movement and I'm glad. I assumed most preferred faster games.
As mentioned in OP, I have the game speed set to 50, but I think this particular slider is fine to change however you like. The way Eccentric describes it, it affects the game overall while other sliders seem to be more intertwined with each other (that make sense?). Were there any particular players whose speed or acceleration stuck out to you?

I'm guessing this was a Play Now game on 12 minutes?

No-one in particular. I'm not telling you it was buggy or what (apart from that tight defense 2k animation)... it was just too high rhythm overall for a regular season game, it looked more like this year's game 1. Any ideas to """"fix"""" this?

I would go to the User/CPU Hustle sliders first and lower both 1 or 2 levels (to 64 or 50). If still too high of a rhythm, stream your game (if possible). We can figure it out.

Couple of props I gotta give on these man...

Just finished playing a half as the Nets playing against the Hawks with Sim World rosters.

First off, both teams are terrible and they both felt terrible (I just happen to be more terrible :P). You feel that the most with both teams on defense. Both of these squads are terrible defensively and it felt like it.

Also, with the edits made by the Sim World crew combined with these sliders you can feel certain things about different players. Most notably, Dennis Schroeder is a super quick guy, one of the fastest in the league, and he was speeding all over the place and carving through lanes. But, he had trouble consistently scoring. Felt super realistic.

Little stuff like that make these sliders awesome, and make me want to pull my hair out! I'm getting my *** kicked but I deserve it. Nice job.

Thank you. Glad to hear it translates across systems. Last time I played on the One, I got smoked.

If you saw it uploaded it on XBOX One, I can post on OP.

Just curious, was this in MyLeague?

Results at 40 game speed. I was the Pelicans. Hope these keep consistent.

The only issue I noticed is that there's too much difference between fast and slow players. The rest is near to perfection.

This is good feedback. I don't want to keep asking if you would prefer not to, but any stream (twitch, YouTube, daily motion, etc) that you could post here would be greatly appreciated.

Were there any particular situations you felt the difference was too large? (i.e in Transition after rebounds/after made shots, in half court sets, help defense, on switches, no threes vs. protect the paint, etc.)

Did the difference feel greater with game speed at 40?

I'm assuming you left the Hustle values as they were, did the rhythm still feel too "high"?

After seeing Devroyce's Foul testing, I feel more comfortable that others were also seeing an issue that I had trouble pinpointing. Playing with a few changes on fouls and Go for Steals tendency.

Edit: Sheesh, two last second threes (Bazemore, Porzingis) with hands in faces for the win at the end. They got to the line 17 times and we had 13 team fouls. Continuing to test, using lower Ball Handling and higher CPU Foul values.

Word. I tried changing movement yesterday (Lower speed max, raise speed min) and combined with lower ball handling it felt different. Not sure which I prefer, but I do want to keep the movement slower than it is by default.

@Duce found some time to play tonight in between packing and I really, really like this set a lot.

I've played around with other Game Speeds, but I've decided to keep my Game Speed at 50 because I just don't like the clock speed being altered (personal preference)...instead, I just lowered speed attributes to 26 for User & Cpu, and 48 Acceleration for both as well just for my own personal liking. Plus, its yielding more non-shooting fouls for Cpu at least so far (blocking/reaching) and I hope thats not just one game (still hoping to find a fix for user) But this set is surely fun. I like the spacing, movement, and ball rotation. Great job! [emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106]

*I will note that I am using my own roster edits that I like for certain categories with this set.*

                                Edit:

Rebounding: To add-on the rebounding is great...as players who position themselves well, will win the rebounds whether offensive or defensive. That's a huge positive I am noticing.

Lastly, I am getting destroyed by cpu lol btw. I am in the third quarter and Cpu committed 9 non-shooting fouls, mostly mid range so far. Total of 16 team fouls thus far. And they are on a three point barrage as well.
