Too realistic and challenging since even though I had the #3 seed in the East, I suffered a 4-1 2nd round loss to the Celtics. I swept them in the regular season, but in the playoffs, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce were unstoppable from mid-range to the three point line and KG found youth serum and beasted Josh Smith.

During the season, I traded Jamal Crawford (he had an expiring contract and I can't play with him) and Jordan Crawford for Devin Harris and Anthony Morrow (thinking his 3-pt shooting would be an asset but I can't hit shots with him to save my life).

Devin has been very good, but he is fragile as hell. I thought he would be my PG of the future since Bibby is getting old and Jeff Teague isn't there yet, but he was injured three times this year for 2-4 weeks including getting injured in the first game against the Celtics.

Now, I'm in the Off-Season, hoping to draft or find a quality Free Agent SF who can score (Marvin Williams is trash) or C to lock down my inside defense (thinking about trying to get Marc Gasol or Greg Oden). The pickings are slim though. I'll put an offer out for 'Melo, but I'm sure I can't afford him. I just need to add some pieces around a solid core of Joe Johnson (All-Star and a beast on Isolations), Josh Smith (1st Team All-Defense and All-Star) and Al Horford (All-Star snub...he should have made it over Brook Lopez). I have 0 scoring options off the bench (guess that was the downside of trading Jamal Crawford).

This is my first day out the house and all week and I can't wait to get home to start playing again. I've even been successful in convincing my wife to read her Nook Color next to me while I play so it doubles as quality spouse time.
YES, not only another Hawk's fan, but someone who suffered through this stupid ice storm the same way I did: by playing a silly amount of game's in their Hawks Association.

I love Crawford's quickness and his jump shot's elevation, so I kept him, though just for interests sake I might not resign him. Like you, I couldn't deal with Marvin's horrible offensive qualities and giant contract (though I did him to be a great defensive weapon who shut down LeBron for me), so I traded him away with Teague and got Louis Williams.

Josh Smith is beast mode though, no doubt. I hope, however, I don't get killed in the playoffs

        Warriors first season:
        G: Steph Curry, Monta Ellis
F: David West (when not hurt) and D Wright
        C: David Lee
Bench: Eugene Jeter, Michael Redd, Rodney Carney, Travis Outlaw, Joey Dorsey, Almundson, and Tolliver.
David West is hurt too often for me.
Jeter has sucked in the playoffs (at the moment 3-0 over Denver 2nd round)
        ALmundson gets too many fouls
Tolliver and Dorsey are great at 3s
Redd is the best player to trade for if you have a slacker with a high paycheck. Especially if you need 3s as well.
Carney is much better than real life
        Outlaw can't drive for anything.
Best guard combo in the game though, especially if you want to lock down guards like Billups. He can't shoot for anything if he's double teamed by Steph and Monta
And I swept the mavs this season (I was #5 seed) 7-0
And I'm hoping to play Miami in the finals and sweep them.

Also, I noticed George Carl has a major problem in walking onto the court in the middle of a game, and his shoulders are super close together. Anyone else notice that?

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Ive always heard the hype about the heat so i decided to try them

I took a look at them and from what i can see theyre in dire need of quality center and semi better pg.

Traded pitmann, howard, j jones, joel anthony, magloire and carlos arroyo away and my 1st and 2nd round picks for this year and my 2nd round for next year.

I traded with warriors, suns and grizzlies and this is what i ended up with

Pg - Rafer alston, Mario chalmers, Jeremy lin.
Sg - Dwayne Wade, Mike miller
Sf - Lebrone james, Dorrel wright, jared dudley
Pf - Chris bosh, Udonis Haslem and Louis amundson
C - Hasheem Thabeet, Zydranus illagauskus

Pg - My reason for starting rafer over mario chalmers is because i like his playmaking skills and with his vet experience hed fit in well with the starting line up. While mario chalmers can run with the 2nd unit and just in case someone gets injured i got jeremy lin whos a scorer mentality pg.

Sg - Wade ofcourse starting. I left it as is even though i dont like mike miller. I figure even if i trade him i wouldnt get much back, i got offered ronnie brewer by the bulls but i said no because i dont need another high flyer, id rather have a shooter.

Sf - I dont like the idea of lebrone playing 40 mins i figured id drop him down to 33 mins and have back ups for him. Dorrel wright was a heat previously and he is a premiere shooter as well. I figure with a back court of mario chalmers, mike miller and dorrel wright, udonis haslem and z i have a sharp shooter bench. Jared dudley i got him because i like his drive and his intensity, plus i can develop him to be good.

pf - Chris bosh is starting ofcourse, even though hes on a downhill id prefer to keep the heat 3 stars together, Haslem i kept him because hes a good mid range shooter and would fit in very well with my bench. Louis amundson he was just a thrown in to make the warriors trade match, but i picked him as the throw in becuase he plays nice defense. Something he learned from the suns effectively.

c- Now this is the shocker, Why i chose to start hasheem thabeet over z. I believe thabeet will be great as long as he get splaying time and development during season and off season. With the heat starting lineup the way it is, they dont need an offensive big man, they need a defensive.

I also figured if z was on the bench hed fit in with them and would keep him much fresher when play off time comes.

Its not completely an uber crazy team but i feel i can atleast make 2nd round play offs with this and hope to make a splash in fa with another mid level acquisition.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

During january the timbs offered me this trade

Turned out wesley johnson was unhappy and they offered me

                  Wesley johnson and cory brewer

for mario chalmers, mike miller, dorrel wright and my 1st round.

It took me a lil while but i decided to accept. I was developing dorrel wright but if i can have a chance to get wesley johnson ill take it. even if i lose 3 out my 5 players from my 2nd unit.

Only thing now though i only have 2 pgs. This is my new lineup

pg - Rafer alston , Jeremy lin
sg - Dwayne Wade, Cory brewer
sf - Lebrone james, wesley johnson, jared dudley
pf - Chris bosh, Udonis Haslem, Louis Amundson
                  C - Thabeet, And Illagaskaus

My team got way more atlethic with cory brewer and johnson, but now im very weak in pg position.

Im thinking of trading jared dudley for a pg, or should i just keep this roster as is and sign a minimum contract pg

i stand at 10 active man roster now. Decided to sign some dleaguers.

Pg - Anthony riley 61 rating 6'4 pg
                    C - Drew Cook 56 rating 7'4 center

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Met the magic in 2nd round of playoffs and they won 3 times, me 0.

Then lebrone james came back , went 4 in a row, then had to play the celtics won the first two, then lost twice, then won another 2. Met the lakers in finals. Brought it to game 7, Thabeet ended up getting player of the game 17 pts, 5 assists, 15 rebounds, 8 blocks,

                      Off season started
jason kidd, marcus camby, derek fisher grant hill and bunch of scrubs retired

jerry sloan retired and george karl as well. Jason kidd was nominated for hof.

I realized that louis amundson and that pg from the dleaguer are bums that just foul so i put them on trading block

Clippers offered me 1st round 2012(not this draft) and deandre jordan for
Anthony riley, louis amundson and jared dudley.

Sincei dont have any draft picks i figured id do this. Since i dont need jared dudley with wesley johnson around and i figured deandre jordan will give me that depth for a big man when z retires.

Signed delonte west figured id reunite him with bron, Also signed danny green.

finished the season an di saw on headlines.
                      luke ridnour was waived

Figured i can use a pass first type of pg but i had no space. I really dont like delonte and rafer is getting up there in age. So i put both of them in trading block

Best trade i could find was this.

Delonte west, rafer alston, (computer added) danny green, (computer added) 2nd round pick for

                      Raptors
                      Jerry bayless.

Jerry bayless is young but he has a- potential, 69 rating. I took it so i can develop him

Now that i had space i decided to sign luke ridnour for 480k waived fee.

This is what my roster looks like now.

Pg - Luke ridnour, Jerry bayless, Jeremy lin
Sg - D wade, Cory brewer (resigned 6 years)
sf - Lebrone, Wesley johnson (sixth man)
pf - Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem
C - Hasheem Thabeet (65), Zydranus Illagauskus (70), Deandre Jordan (64) and Drew cook (58)

I stand at 13 players, but im thinking of signing adam morrison to the team. See if he can live up to his potential.

You have a really good team but I would start at center Bosh, putting Haslem as the starting pf and trade away Big Z Cook and Lin for a rookie bigman. Gordon Hayward is pretty good and you would probably be able to grab someone else in a three way trade.

That is a very good rotation, Haslem is pretty good at mid range. I also think you might considering starting Bayless over Ridnour

Yeah hes good but i dont need another potential star in my team. I already have wesley johnson, in 2 - 3 years hes going to be asking to be a starter.

Bosh at center? Hell get demolished, i dont like that scenario. Haslem is only in my team because i want to keep most of the heat core together. Only reason i bit on parting ways with mike miller is because

                            wesley johnson man!

what more can i say, fool is a beast. Young and will be a good corner stone eventually.

And if i put bosh in center then what about my 4 centers? Thabeets development gets hindered and i dont want that. So far hes been really good with this squad

During off season i just did that potential training camp and thabeet is getting up there in rating slowly. Hes 71 now and im constantly devloping him.

He fits very well with my starting lineup. Dude gets like 12 minimum rebounds 2 - 3 blocks a game. Of course his assists are only at like 2 or 3 and his ppg is like 2.8 but he does his job. Hes there to be a defensive anchor. Similar to the role charles oakley use to do for the knicks. Hes there to block and rebound. Not score

Drew Cook hes young he is not 62 rating, hes 7'4 and is a good big body to login mins.

Yeah i have 4 centers, but z is in his last year and even with him on my bench he does wonders. He either might retire or i can resign him for like dirt cheap.

This years draft i have my 1st rounder and clippers 1st rounder. The draft that just passed clips got 3rd so im hoping they lose some more this year.

Not yet with the way this team is ridnour is the perfect starter. I need a past first mentality pg and a center who is a defensive anchor. Which i have in ridnour and thabeet.

If ridnour starts hes a pass first mentality and he feeds james, wade or bosh for the j.

Next year ill start bayless when he gets more developed this year.
