Ok thank you. Does Oj take well to being a 6th man. Because Wesley has been great for me this season

Hmmm, im sure if he got enough pt he would. He's a really great defender for me so that would be a great attribute too.

I'll mention that I had him.. And traded him for mike conley and (2 1st rounders) after he didn't work too well at PG (too slow i thought i needed size and his trade opened the door for me to get roy hibbert) but I think he'd be a great backup to wesley and mike conley.. Melo was clogging things up as far as trade value..

          The Quest For 0-29.....

Well, the losing continued last night as I lost to Memphis and the Heat. I now stand 0-16!! LOL

I had the Heat on the ropes in Miami as I was only down by 2 points with about 4 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter and then all the wheels came off and I lost 99-80.

Hollins had his best game as a Cavalier by a mile. 27 points on 12-17 shooting, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks. His previous scoring high was 13 points. He just destroyed Z and Dampier.

To throw salt in the wound, as Cleveland made their second half surge, Mo Williams hit a three on the break in D-Wade's eye, but somehow injured his back as he came down from the jumper. Maybe the 2 weeks off will help his hideous 36% FG.

I laugh everytime the game looks like it's going to be a loss.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

17-7 in my 30-team Wizards Association. Just beat the Nets to win our 10th straight. Heat up next.

Can someone tell me why I can't lose recently? My team hasn't been held under 100 in 14 games, and I'm winning all my games. I'm not complaining, but I'm shattering expectations. It was fine when I was 7-7, but I can't lose now, haha. It's not like they're blowouts either- I hit a 3PT buzzer beater with Wall to beat the Lakers. Maybe the Heat will bring me back to reality.

But anyways, all my players are healthy again!

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Decided to try out the lakers ive figured since theyre a winning old team i can inject some younger players in it and lose a little cap room to resign players.

I did 2 trades, nothing major

                    Lakers Get
                    Hasheem Thabeet
                    Darrel Arthur
                    2 2nd round picks

                    Grizzlies Get
Luke walton, Joe smith, Derrick Character, 2011 1st rounder

I did this because i want to get rid of luke waltons contract and i wont be able to afford characters contract when it runs out in 2 years.
Also got rid of the 1st rounder because theyres no point i wont be able to afford signing the rookie when it comes. Darrel Arthur hes young but he could be a good solid backup for gasol.

                    2nd trade

                    Bulls get
Steve Blake, Devin ebanks, and Theo Ratliff, 11 2nd round pick lakers.

                    Lakers Get
                    Cj Watson, and Kurt Thomas.

I get older in this trade but Kurt thomas gives a more physical vet inside presence than theo ratliff does. I also find steve blake to dissapear at most of the times and i believe that Cj watson gives me more of a defensive 3 point shooter that i could use.

                    This is my new lineup.

pg - Derek Fisher, Cj watson
sg - Kobe Bryant, Shannon Brown
Sf - Ron artest, Lamar Odom(i moved him back to the 3, so he can play the point forward position since im weak at the 1 spot.), Matt barnes
Pf - Pau Gasol, Darrel Arthur
C - Andrew Bynum, Kurt Thomas, Hasheem Thabeet.

I did lose ebanks and character and i did get a lot older but watson is in contract for another 3 years 1 year less than steve blake and i save 6 million in cap room.

I have the grizzlies 2011 2nd round pick, and my 2012 1st round with 2nd rnd and grizzlies 2nd round

I do run at 12 players atm, but i did save 3 - 4 mill in hardcap room and i still have 986 left in my hard cap.

Any ideas on how to improve my roster? Id love to hear it.

I just can't get Peja's jumpers down. Also, edit Barbosa so that his secondary posistion is PG, since he plays that about 3-4 times a game IRL. If you keep Peja, he resigns for 480k.
Wow what a revelation, you're right Peja is making $15mil IRL but for some reason he's listed at $559k in my association. I don't know why. Oh well i'm not gonna edit the salary b/c i want to take this exact team through the entire season and see how far i get, and this is Peja's last year anyways. His shot's not too hard, but he only gets 2 mins/game so i don't practice it much.

Nice bounce back game against UT 101-96, Bayless leading the way 26pts 13ast, bargs chipped in 17pts 13reb.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

My dillema atm is after this season is over my hardcap room will be way past max because kobes and gasols contract is very ugly cap space wise.

I was thinking of scrapping bynum and i put him on trading block

Timbs sent me the best offer i could find.

Andrew bynum for Luke ridnour and michael beasley but i also wanted wesley johnson.

and they counter offered with this.

Andrew bynum, Ron artest, Matt barnes and 1st round pick 2012

                          for

Michael Beasley, Luke ridnour and Wesley johnson.

I decided to go this route because even though i lose an allstar in bynum, He cant be an allstar if hes always injured, I do lose artest and matt barnes
But i do get wesley johnson and luke ridnour to fill in my void.

Timberwolves i think will do this trade because they get 2 proven winners and a good role player + 1st pick. It would benifit them to have a real center next to kevin love and would improve there chances of bring rubio to there team from spain. They get older yes but they get much stronger.

                          This is my new roster

Pg - Luke ridnour, Derek Fisher, Cj watson
Sg - Kobe Bryant, Shannon Brown
Sf - Michael Beasley, Wesley Johnson
Pf - Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Darrel Arthur
C - Kurt Thomas, hasheem Thabeet.

Im thinking of moving gasol to the 5 so him and odom can be at the start.
Doing that trade cleared up 10 mill cap space so now i have 10.21 left of hard cap space left.

I do have 3 2nd round as well 1 this year and 2 next year.

                          My roster stands at 12, 3 pgs, 2sg, 2sf, 3pf, 2c

I still have my mid level. Thinking of signing 1 or 2 players.
