To achieve more points you need to do better in the regular season. Have players named to the allstar team, coach the ROY win 5 or 10 games in a row, improve your record over last year, have best record. Theres some others to i dont have the whole list memmorized.

The sliders you may want to adjust to your playing style some. im not saying make it super easy but make it where the pc font quite cheat ya as bad.. still competitive.

In Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka. Perkins is a big + on the boards as well.
I miss Perkins on the Celtics, but I can't bring myself to work out a trade for him because it wouldn't be realistic. I loved his defense, and C's are mediocre on the glass.

I'm in the second year of my dynasty with the Toronto Raptors. I want to play all of the games...but not have it take months to play a season....so it's 29 game season with 7 minute quarters on All-Star.

Year one was a disaster. There was nobody I could count on for consistent offense and we went an abysmal 6-23. We traded Bargnani after the 3rd game to the Royals for Dalembart and their 1st Round pick...so the team was even worse!

I later traded ANA 1st Rounder and Calderon to Washington for their 2011 1st rounder (ANA was looking like a playoff team and WAS was looking like a lottery team....which ticked me off because that pick was the main reason I traded Bargnani)

I get to the draft lottery with odds on the 1st and 3rd pick....but disaster struck and ended up with the 4th and 5th. During the draft Detroit offered me the 2nd pick for Derozen and Weems and I took it in an instant.

So with the 2nd pick I took Harrison Barnes. The 4th pick I took Kemba Walker. The 5th pick I traded to Cleveland for the 9th pick and a future 1st rounder....so with the 9th pick I took Jonas Valanciunas (how do you pronounce his name?!?!).

So my starting line up is:
          PG: Kemba Walker
          SG: Leandro Barbosa
          SF: Harrison Barnes
          PF: Amir Johnson
          C: Jonas Valanciunas

Barnes is a scoring machine and Walker is in the top 5 in the league for Assists! We are 4-3 in year two...but our schedule has been pretty soft. We lost to Charlotte at home and beat OKC in OKC! It feels like a young team for sure!

One problem I have with the reward point system is that the goals don't change based on season length....I'm "cheating" and keeping track of points based on a 29 game season to give me a chance at some points (there is no way i'm going to improve 25 games in a 29 game season!)

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Decided on doing a rebuild with the Wizards starting in Year 2. Here are the moves I made in the off-season:

I used the trade override to get Atlanta's 1st Round Pick because Washington has that in real life.

              Trades:
Trevor Booker to Portland for Rudy Fernandez & '11 2nd Round Pick
JaVale McGee, Nick Young, Yi Jianlian & Jordan Crawford to Golden State for Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins & '11 1st Round Pick
              GS's 1st Round Pick (#18) & Atlanta's 1st Round Pick (#22) to Charlotte for their 1st Round Pick (#12)
Kevin Seraphin to Phoenix for '12 2nd Round Pick

Draft: Derrick Williams, Jonas Valanciunas, Nikola Mirotic, Malcolm Lee
              Free Agent: Carlos Delfino

              Starting Lineup:

              PG: John Wall, Mustafa Shakur
              SG: Monta Ellis, Rudy Fernandez
SF: Rashard Lewis, Derrick Williams, Carlos Delfino, Josh Howard
              PF: Andray Blatche, Nikola Mirotic
              C: Andris Biedrins, Jonas Valanciunas

D-League: Hamady N'diaye and Malcolm Lee

I've played quite a few games so far and its a really fun team to play with. I'm a few games below .500 because I'm not great defensively or super deep. I'm essentially doing a 3 man rotation in the back court with Wall, Ellis and Fernandez since Ellis can play the 1. The good thing is that both Wall and Ellis can play 38-40 minutes no problem.

                I lost my 1st game 113-84

I just really like this team, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Decided to go as the Miami Heat as I've never been them during an association and think it's one of three teams I haven't played with ( Lakers and Spurs are the other two ). I understand it's going to be quite easy to win games during the regular season but the test isn't until the play-offs.

Made a couple of trades to bolster the post presence and to get a semi-decent PG.

Heat trade: Mike Bibby, '11 1st round pick, Dexter Pittman.
Nuggets trade: Arron Afflalo, '11 2nd round pick.

Heat trade: Mike Miller, Udonis Haslem, James Jones, '11 2nd round pick.
Clippers trade: DeAndre Jordan, Brian Cook.

Heat trade: Mario Chalmers, '12 1st round pick, Joel Anthony.
Nets trade: Jordan Farmar, Stephen Graham, '12 2nd round pick.

                  So the new starting line-up is;

                  PG - J. Farmar/A. Afflalo/E. House,
                  SG - D. Wade/A. Afflalo/S. Graham,
                  SF - L. James/J. Howard/C. Bosh,
                  PF - C. Bosh/Z. Ilgauskas/J. Howard,
                  C - D. Jordan/Z. Ilgauskas/E. Dampier.

The bench isn't too strong but Wade and James are both capable of playing plenty of minutes and Afflalo is adequate cover for Wade with the front court rotating when Bosh moves into the SF role to cover James.

Currently 2-0 with James averaging a triple double through the two games.
                  Football: Manchester United
                  MLB: Cleveland Indians
                  NBA: Miami Heat
                  NFL: Cleveland Browns

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

I just started a new franchise with the Warriors.

I first shipped Monta Ellis to Atlanta for Josh Smith and a 1st round pick. After, I moved David Lee's huge contract and my 1st round pick to Houston for Kevin Martin. So far the team is putting up great numbers and Curry is leading the team putting up current day Monta Ellis numbers.

                    PG: S.Curry
                    SG: K.Martin
                    SF: D.Wright
                    PF: J.Smith
                    C: E.Udoh

just dl'd phillyfan90s 2000-2001 roster and picked the magic
first move was signing MJ who was in FA
then i traded darrel armstrong mike miller and bo outlaw for Chris Webber and jon barry which was great because barry fills the void miller left for 3 point shooting in webber is a beast. Won my first game vs the wizards 92-78. Grant Hill had a 30-7-7 game.

                      my starting 5 is

                      PG: T-Mac[84]
                      SG: Jordan[86]
                      SF: Hill[89]
                      PF: Webber[90]
                      C: Doleac[68]
                      6th man: barry

i thought that trade was a steal, still dont know how i pulled that off honestly

Well I've done several associations and I'm trying to find a team to use. I've played with my cavs, the bulls, lakers, and blazers. I was thinking of using a good team with a chance of winning the title.

Anybody use the grizzlies? They got gay, mayo, gasol, conley, and zach randolph along with sean battie. Have a lot of young talent. They are the 7th seed right now in real life. Anybody have a good time using them?

                          Kings

                          Played 2 games today.

Beat the Mavs, then simmed a week and lost to the Heat.

DeMarcus Cousins sprained his wrist but is still able to play through it.

I'm seriously considering doing this trade:

                          Kings Receive:
                          JJ Hickson
                          Boobie Gibson

                          Cavs Receive
                          Jason Thompson
                          Omri Casspi

If I do this then my lineup would look like this:
                          Evans-Thornton-Greene-Hickson-Cousins

Thoughts on the (possible) trade are appreciated.
                          Chicago Bulls
                          Chicago Bears
                          Wisconsin Badgers

decided to do a fantasy draft with the pacers. My team is:

                            Starters
                            PG Derrick Rose
                            SG Tony Allen
                            SF Paul George
                            PF David West
                            C Javale Mcgee

                            Bench
                            PG Jason Williams
                            SG J.R Smith
                            SF Jamario Moon
                            PF Channing Frye
                            C Deandre Jordan

The first game was against the San Antonio Spurs and Steve Nash. It went down to the wire with the game being 85-85 with 7 seconds left and me having the ball. gave the ball to rose and he hit a step back jumper at the buzzer to win!

Currently going against the bobcats led by Joe Johnson and Kemba Walker... (forgot i had Kemba, Austin Rivers, and Anthony Davis in my roster so gonna have to face them...)

Continuing on with the Miami Heat and currently at 8-1. Only defeat coming to the Orlando Magic as I could not stop Howard dominating the paint.

MIA 141 - 131 BOS, ( LeBron hit a triple double, played on 12 min quarters but dropped down to 11 after )
                              MIA 118 - 110 PHI,
                              ORL 107 - 100 MIA,
                              MIA 107 - 90 NJ,
                              MIN 82 - 110 MIA,
                              MIA 104 - 95 NO,
                              NJ 78 - 96 MIA,
                              UTA 81 - 107 MIA,
BOS 88 - 120 MIA. ( LeBron hit another triple double against Boston this time with 31 points, 11 rebounds, 16 assists and 4 steals ).

                              Currently my teams statistics are;

                              L. James - 30.2 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 8.3 APG, 2.0 SPG.
                              D. Wade - 29.1 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 4.2 APG, 2.2 SPG.
                              C. Bosh - 18.9 PPG, 9.4 RPG.
                              J. Farmar - 8.6 PPG, 5.2 APG, 2.4 SPG.
                              D. Jordan - 8.0 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 2.2 BPG.
                              A. Afflalo - 6.1 PPG.
                              Z. Ilgauskas - 4.9 PPG, 4.6 RPG.

Lead the league in PPG SPG, FG% and FT%.

Was really tempted to try and bring in a solid three point shooter as the side really lacks one.

                                PG: Darren Collison, TJ Ford
SG: James Harden, Brandon Rush, Mike Dunleavy, Lance Stephenson
                                SF: Wesley Johnson, James Posey
                                PF: Kevin Love, Psycho T
C: Roy Hibbert, Eddy Curry, Salomon Jones

Im going to playoffs with this group but it´s likely that Im going out in the first round vs. Celtics, Bulls or Heat. So my goal is on the next season, my team is going to be much better.

I get around 35M$ free salary cap (Ford, Dunleavy and Curry ------> out), and Im going to sign superstar. My main goal is to get Carmelo Anthony, who is going to test his value at the free agency. With him and solid rookie (maybe Brandon Knight would be possible?) my team is going to be much better. Of course my team is also year older and better (my team is very young as you can see) so maybe we can be already contenders to the championship? We shall see.

P.S One question: How can I get my teams chemistry up? Its a very poor right now, 8%...
I didn´t even make to the playoffs! Love´s injury was too much and I lost about 7 games in a row. Even Cavs play better IRL than I played at the season´s end, chemistry was 0% for us. But summer was nice, although I didn´t get Melo.

I got 8th pick of the draft and I got player that i wanted most: Cornerstone of the UCONN´s championship team, Kemba Walker. Vyaras has done very good job, 2K´s Kemba plays exactly like Kemba IRL. Also I got 21st. pick of the draft, cause some team was offering trade to me, they gave me 21st pick and I gave them T.J Ford who was leaving anyway cause his contract was ending. I drafted Trey Thompkins, PF from the Georgia, very good shooter for big man but not much of upside potential. Role player with a big R. In the second round I drafted one of my favourite players in this draft, Kenneth Faried, senior from the Morehead State. Terrific rebounder and awesome hustle guy with a tremendous attitude.

From the free agent market I got Jeff Green (80 ovr), round 10M$ per season. Very skillful and versatile guy, he ´s going to be our Lamar Odom. Like Odom, Green is also going to be coming from the bench because Wes Johnson has been awesome. Wes´s ovr is 78 and his potential is A-. Other guys has also developed from last season. James Harden´s ovr rised from 75 to 80, Collison´s 78 to 82, Hibbert´s 78 to 80 and Love´s 83 to 85. Last season our team was ranked 24th in a ovr ratings (when you just look team´s on the paper) and now we are 10th.

We have started 5-4 but I think we are going to be much better now when we got Jeff Green back, who injured in pre-season.
