He had 11 blocks last game! Wall was also named player of the week. Which do u guys think is better to play on; simulation or default
simulation is probably the best but it depends on how you want to play

1st things first is that i want to get rid of joe johnson, not going to get us a chip and never will, plus he is on the wrong side of 30.

Future additions i would like to add
#1-andre miller-I want a pg that is solid in every aspect of the game, wont shoot the 3 ball well but is an excellent facilitator.

#2-shaquille O'neal-Big body in the middle and can give us great post offense and good solid rebounding, plus will take away the mismatches that Al Horford can get.also he comes cheap now.

#3-Tony Allen-All great teams needs that lockdown defender that can really cause havoc on the opposing teams top perimeter threat.

      Future plans:
Get rid of marvin williams,he is never going to be good just a player wasting a ton of cap space,he is a bust IMO.

Make it past the second round and hopefully to the ECF.

Develop my rookie Jordan Crawford into an all-around scorer that can fill it up off of the bench, ala jr.smith in denver.

Play a slow paced half court offense that will run clock and play shutdown defense.

Resign Jamal Crawford only if he excepts less than $5 million per for about 2-3 seasons.

Goal is to be able to match up with opponents with every position and play great defense, thus eliminating the so called "ALL STAR EFFECT" that joe johnson brings.Make acquisitions that fit our team and dont overpay average players.

      WIN CHAMPIONSHIP: EST 2 years

in my associations i do i always get someone like iggy because he a lockdown defender and defend againest the other team top scorers. but why get shaq when you got horford but u might want to move him to pf and move smith to sg

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Decided that i would try to win Cleveland a championship before Lebron. First things to do: Get some more 1st rounders! I managed to get two more, from the hawks and pacers, so here's what my lineup looked like my first year:

          PG Mo Williams
SG Dominique Jones(Forgot how i got him)
          SF Jamario Moon
          PF Leon Powe
          C Anderson Varejao

          6th: Marvin williams

Ended up w/ the 3rd, 12th, and 15th picks in the draft. W/ the first i picked a sf w/ a- potential and 74 overall, the i drafted a 69 overall pf w/ a potential and then i drafted a 67 overall b- potential point guard. Then,i signed Marc Gasol, so my new lineup looks like:

          PG Mo Williams 78 ovr
          SG Dominique Jones 70 ovr
SF Created SF rookie 74 ovr
PF Created PF rookie 69 ovr
          C Marc Gasol 80 ovr

          6th:Marvin Williams 73 ovr

Im gonna play some games at the begining of the year, then probably sim till next season

i swear i was thinking about a trade where i give up joe and a 1 rounder for iggy and brand you think thats good cause elton brands contract is atrocious

btw didnt get shaq because for some dumb reason the only person they want to get is horford which is a big fat NO.

but iggy is a very great defender i may get him and then trade brand for an expiring contract

Well looks like I'll be settling on the Pistons to start my association. I was considering a lot of teams, all bad, but I wasn't sure if I was going to go with a young team that has tons of potential or an old, bad, bad team like the Pistons. I am feeling the path of drafting an all star and building a team around him way while making good FA pick ups.

i know i do a 76ers francise cause instead of gettin iggy i want him to be one of the big three with amare and someone i get or develope in the next two seasons.

i trade elton brand and someone with a 2nd round pick to the kings for landry. so get brand but trade him to the kings. cause with the trade to get rid of brand u get atleast 12million back for next season. with this trade u also get like 12mil back to so in a way u get landry and 12million back

                  ~Bulls Association Update~

In case you hadn't heard I made a trade. K. Thomas, '12 1st for R. Fernandez, and '11 2nd. Ronnie Brewer was injured for over a month and Bogans just wasn't getting it done offensively, so I added Rudy for some play making and offense.

After playing for a while, I got bored and simmed the last 2 months of the season. I made the playoffs and was the 4th seed. In the 1st round I beat the Hawks 4-1, and proceeded to the 2nd round where I was playing the Heat. They were up 3-2 in the series and in the 6th game LeBron's 42-10-7 (pts, reb, ast) combined with Wade's 19-9-11 were to much for me to handle, sending me to the off season to have a major rebuilding project.

                  Not.

The pieces I had were effective, and I still think they can get the job done by adding a few role players.

...anyways, this is who retired: T. Battie, E. Dampier, Ju. Howard, D. Fisher, T. Ratliff, A. Carter, B. Wallace, S. Nash, K. Thomas.

...and the coaches: R. Adelman, J. Sloan

                  Steve Nash made the HoF.

                  Didn't hire any new staff.

                  Options:
Accepted: R. Fernandez $2.11M Team Option
Declined: K. Bogans $1.25M Team Option

                  Player Resigning:
With a TOUGH decision, I decided to let Scal walk...(sarcasm)
I was hoping to resign Bogans for the Vet Min but he wanted to test FA along with Patrick Beverley.

                  NBA Draft:
I ended up with the 20th pick in the 1st round and the 2nd pick in the 2nd round.
                  Some picks were:
                  1. Barnes-DET
                  2. Irving-MEM
                  3. Knight-POR
                  4. Jones-TOR
                  5. Selby-SAC
                  6. Kanter-WAS
                  7. Sullinger-PHX

During the 4th pick I was offered:
4th pick for L. Deng and 20th Pick
After serious consideration I decided that I would decline that trade since IRL Perry Jones would NEVER be traded for Deng's ugly contract and a non-lottery pick.

So, with the 20th pick I drafted Durell Summers out of MSU. And with the 32nd pick I drafted Mason Plumlee who I then traded to the Griz for their 2nd pick next year. They needed a PF since Randolph headed for FA.

                  Free Agency:
With only the MLE, I didn't have a shot at Melo, Butler, or Carter who I all would have gladly taken. So I decided the I would go after older role players that can fill holes on my team. My SF spot was weak behind Deng, and Korver regressed quite a bit so I went ahead and gave Tayshaun Prince a 2yr $7.66M deal. He accepted. I also didn't have a 3rd PG behind Rose and Watson so I decided to offer Carlos Arroyo a deal: 1yr $1.03M.

Not to exciting but it will hopefully get the job done.

On another note, Carmelo and VC signed with New Jersey. They are automatically contenders now with:
                  Harris
                  Carter
                  Anthony
                  Favors
                  Lopez.

With 75 points to spend on camps I decided to send Summers to Perimeter Defense camp which increased his OVR to a 63, and Joakim Noah to Big Man Offense camp which made him an 86.

My team heading into the '11-'12 season looks like this:

                  Rose/Watson/Arroyo
                  Fernandez/Brewer/Summers
                  Deng/Prince/Korver/Johnson
                  Boozer/Gibson
                  Noah/Asik

I'm thinking that I will have to trade for or sign a back up Center.

Props to Rowe32 for his excellent draft class.

Me either. I've simmed at least 5 past the first season and he hasn't left yet. I even did a three team trade that sent Rashard Lewis' huge contract to Denver during the re-signing period in an attempt to stop them from signing Melo and he just signed for less money.

That's weird. He tests FA every time in mine, and almost always leaves for other teams like the Kings or Nets.

Started a Association with the Wizards a while back. Then I finished playing all of the games in the first season the other day. I went through the offseason yesterday and I'm about to start the preseason.

Here is what I've done with the team so far:

I played about 30 games with the Wall-Arenas combo, but since I only had about 9 wins at that point, I decided to change things. So, I shopped Arenas around a little bit and found a deal I loved. What I ultimately did was trade Arenas + Trevor Booker for Michael Beasley + Sebastian Telfair.

I instantly threw Beasley into the SF spot, and put Josh Howard at SG. The move didn't help any in terms of winning more games, but it got the ball rolling on the rebuilding process. I ended up with a 27-55 record, which was 3rd worst in the league, and I ultimately got the #1 overall pick via the Lottery. With that #1 overall pick, I had the choice between a PG or a Center... since I had John Wall, I had to go with a Center. He turned out to be 71 ovr with A potential.

Later in the draft, I was offered the #6 pick in the draft for Javale McGee and something else (I can't remember who...). The guys left weren't really worth the #6 pick, so I decided to shop the pick around.

Turned out, the Nets were willing to give up Terrence Williams for the #6 pick and my 2nd round pick (#3 of the 2nd round). I accepted the deal.

So, now my lineup looks like this:

                            PG - John Wall - 88 ovr
                            SG - Terrence Williams - 78 ovr
                            SF - Michael Beasley - 81 ovr
                            PF - Andray Blatche - 74 ovr
                            C - Nick Jeter - 71 ovr
                            Bench:
                            SG - Alonzo Gee - 72 ovr
                            PG - Kirk Hinrich - 72 ovr
                            PF - Yi Jianlian - 70 ovr
                            C - Samuel Dalembert - 67 ovr
                            SG - Nick Young - 69 ovr
                            C - Hilton Armstrong - 59 ovr
                            PF - Kevin Seraphin - 57 ovr

I'm excited to start the new season. We'll see how things go.

Well, I started off my season with the Spurs. First game of the season, Manu breaks his hand is out for 4-6 weeks.

I handle the Pacers pretty easily, they had no answer for Tim Duncan. But in the 2nd game, I fell to the Hornets, Thornton had a terrific 4th quarter, and I could not stop him.

3rd game, I went to LA and beat the Clippers by 9 led by the strong performance of George Hill and Tony Parker.

Really enjoying the game so far.
