Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I am the Raptors. I have played 10 games to a 4-6 record. So management thinks some changes have to be made, maybe not for this season, but for the future...
These two trades came up when I was browsing for trades, no trade finder, but I control all 30 teams, so the CPU can't reject a trade... I like the second trade more for building for the future, but the first is a better deal... I'm leaning towards the second one...
Now I know its not customary for teams to trade 1st round picks, but if the deal is good enough, some teams have to jump on it...
TRADE #1:
Toronto gets:
Devin Harris OVR 76
Aaron Afflalo OVR 78
Danillo Gallianari OVR
DEN '12 1st round pick, * trade value
Denver gets:
Andrea Bargnani OVR 70
Demarr DeRozan OVR 73
UTA '12 1st round pick via TOR, ** trade value
Utah gets:
Jose Calderon OVR 74
TOR '12 2nd round pick, * trade value
OR
#- indicates that I might not include player in final trade
TRADE #2:
Toronto Gets:
Devin Harris
Luke Walton
CLE '12 1st round pick, *** trade value
Alonzo Gee #
CLE gets:
Andrea Bargnani
DeMarr DeRozan
Gary Forbes #
UTAH gets:
Jose Calderon
TOR '12 2nd round pick, * trade value
If I do trade #2, I'm thinking I need an SG or two, both Brandon Roy and Allen Iverson are still sitting in the FA, leaning towards signing Roy to a two year deal, because I don't know how much longer AI will be in the league and Roy has a good nine years on him in youth.
Thoughts? Suggestions?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
In a Lakers association, trying to get rid of either Bynum or Gasol, preferably Bynum since I've grown a liking to Pau and know him and Kobe have a good relationship, Kobe and Bynum... not as much. Haha.
So I went to propose a trade and stumbled upon this... now I don't know if the CPU will accept, but I want to get an opinion before I try it...
Nuggets get:
Andrew Bynum OVR 84 (4 star value)
Matt Barnes OVR 72 (1 star value)
Jordan Hill OVR 64 (1 star value)
13 1st round pick (1 star value)
Lakers get:
Wilson Chandler OVR 81 (2 star value)
Javale McGee OVR 72 (2 star value)
Kenneth Faried OVR 66 (1 star value)
Kostas Koufos OVR 56 (1 star value)
Fair or not? If not, who gets the raw end of the deal? I personally think Denver comes out a little better than I do in the trade.
Also, Lakers would never trade their star center to a team that took them to 7 games in the playoffs. If they do trade him, I believe he goes to the East.
Overall, I don't think the Nuggets & Lakers would ever do a deal, but like I said, it's a good 2k trade and I'd be all for it.USC Trojans - Greatest Football Program

You make out like a bank robber in it.
Trade 2, I do like.
Raptors trade: Derozan, bargnani, calderon,2nd rd, gary forbes
Recieve: Devin harris, luke walton, 1st rd pick, gee
Utah trades: Devin harris
Gets: Calderon who helps them compete now, 2nd rd pick
Cle: trades gee, walton, 1st rder
Gets: derozan (the sg they need), bargnani, can be played at center alongside thompson, and forbes as a role player.
Looks good to me.

TOR gets:
Devin Harris
Andris Biedrins
1st round 2012 pick from GSW
GSW gets:
Andrea Bargnani
Jamaal Magloire
UTA gets:
Jose Calderon
2nd round 2012 pick from TOR
I really like the way my team is feeling now without the distraction of Bargnani (I know he's skilled on the game, but he's probably one of the 5 people in the game I can never seem to score with. haha)Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I am the Lakers and plan on simulating the first season and shaking up the roster a little in the 2012-2013 season. I want to keep the core of Bryant, Gasol and Bynum since Jim Buss recently said that they're not looking to make any blockbuster trades or free agent signings. In the game how can I realistically acquire Michael Beasley? In real life I would trade Lamar Odom's TPE and a 2013 first round pick but the game doesn't include trade exceptions. Would a combination of Hill, Blake, and a pick work? I also want a lottery pick so I can draft Damian Lillard, how do you guys think I can do that?GT: assassinK24Comment

For the lottery pick, you could package one of your 12/13 1st rounders plus another player for a lottery pick, but Lillard is picked at 10th-12th in most draft classes in my association, so that may be tricky.Canucks | Packers | Blue Jays | Lakers | Raptors

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Doing a suns rebuild,
Sums trade: Steve Nash, Grant Hill, 13 1st round pick, Jared Dudley
Grizzlies trade: Gilbert Arenas, Rudy Gay, Darrell Arthur, 13 2nd round
Pick.
I realize it sucks losing Jared but the 12 draft should make up for it. And there's only one player over 30 on my roster now. Bench player lol. Thoughts?(signed Greg oden if it's any help)Last edited by J.R.; 06-21-2012, 01:23 PM.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
You can't without trading one of the three away. On every roster, Beasley is at least a 3-star trade value, and on 2K Rosters, Beasley is a 5-star.
For the lottery pick, you could package one of your 12/13 1st rounders plus another player for a lottery pick, but Lillard is picked at 10th-12th in most draft classes in my association, so that may be tricky.
EDIT: I could force a trade that almost happened last year where Steve Blake would be sent to Portland, Jamal Crawford would go to Minnesota and Beasley would come here to L.A.Last edited by KSOR24; 06-21-2012, 01:28 PM.GT: assassinK24Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Lol, the grizzlies are NOT going to trade Rudy gay for a vet that will stick around for 1-2 years, another 38 year old who will not contribute and most likely will retire, a mid 1st rd pick and an, at best, rotation player...let alone add in a 2nd rd pick, arenas, and arthurComment

If you want to trade based on what the 2k computer says, you can get guys like kevin love for a late 1st round pick and some spare parts.*AKA NFC3PO on the Madden Modding Discord*Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I mean it's a game. If u want rto trade no one is going to stop you from having fun. It's your game
But most ppl on here value trades by if they are realistic at all
Or even though the computer considers that fair you could add in to make it more realistic*AKA NFC3PO on the Madden Modding Discord*Comment
