I'm in the 2nd season of my Knicks 30 Team Association.

Knicks Get:
PF - Charlie Villnueva
SG - Ben Gordon

Pistons Get:
PF - Amare Stoudamire

Basically switch Detroit's 2009 FA for New York's 2010 FA. Pistons get a "star" and a strong front court with Monroe and STAT. Knicks get the outside shooting they desperately need. On paper, it seems that I got low balled but as someone who plays most of the games, STAT wasn't working well for the team but it wasn't going to rip off the CPU either.

Thoughts?

I like the trade, though I do love Gordon playing sixth man which is JR Smith's role for NY, if you can split their minutes up and keep them happy, I think the trade works well for both teams. Though, Detroit is probably lacking some perimeter guard play now.

So the Nets lose their 3 best players to downgrade at each position for 3 first rounders? I know it might sound sweet because you mixed in some picks but I don't like it for the Nets. This might not be relevant but in real life Gerald Wallace opted out of his contract so technically he should be an unrestricted free agent but the rosters have stopped updating.

Have you seen Brook Lopez' stats compared to Al Horford? Brook is a stud and is more of a franchise player to build around than Horford, AND he's younger. Not to mention the Brook is a true Center where as Horford is more of a Power Forward. Getting rid of D-Will and Wallace is understandable, but unless you're trading for Dwight Howard, Lopez is a keeper!

Have you seen Brook Lopez' stats compared to Al Horford?

Lopez: 19.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 1.2 apg, 0.8 bpg, 0.2 spg
Horford: 12.4 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.2 apg, 1.3 bpg, 0.8 spg - regular season
15.3 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 2.7 apg, 1.3 bpg, 1.3 spg - playoff.

BL more score, but for the rest Horford is better. I really think Al more franchise player then Brook.

In 2k Al have 4 star, Brook - 3.5 (PJT Roster). I think its good deal for Nets.

I can't believe I have to type that Horford is better than Bropez. I have never in my life seen a guy more afraid of rebounding and defense.

Looking for some ideas for a trade to get Conley on the Lakers. Preferably moving Gasol. I was thinking of a package around Randoplh and Conley since Memphis would obviously want to get rid of Randolph's contract. Ideally I would do a three team trade where Randolph goes to another team, and the Lakers take back someone who maybe isn't as good currently, but is younger and a high energy player with a lot of upside. Don't think Derrick Williams is realistic, but that kind of player to play some mins at PF/SF. What teams do you think would like to add Randolph? My first thought was pair him with Cousins in Sacramento, but they really don't have a tweener SF/PF who fits my needs. Another option is two seperate trades. Maybe get Conley and a first for Gasol, and then send a future first and McRoberts to Minn for Beasley. What do you guys think.

Terrible trade for the Knicks, they're giving up two of the three best players in this trade, and taking back a deal that forces them to move Carmelo to PF full time. Absolutely no way this deal would go through on the Knicks side. Evans value in real life isn't nearly what it was a year ago, so if you're trying to keep it realistic you may need to look for a different third team to help facilitate...

I just don't think the Knicks would make that trade unless they got back a replacement for Amare. Melo at PF just isn't going to work for a full season, so if you're going for realism that doesn't seem very likely. If you wanted to include Vucevic in the trade and switch his position to PF, then I could maybe see the Knicks making a move like that. Vucevic is a young banger, with a solid (and still developing) mid range game. If you want to include a different third team to send a PF to NY then how about Utah. They have a plethora of PF, and even Jefferson who is a C that can play PF. Maybe send Milsap to NY as part of the deal....

Some other teams that have the assets to facilitate in your desired deal are the Hornets, Rockets, and Trailblazers (with Hickson)...
