I held Lebron to a modest 25 pts HAHA, at least he didn't go off for 40 like he usually does. This game was back and forth up until midway through the 3rd then i slowly pulled away and kept a 10 pt lead til the end. I was surprised by how progressively easy it became after the half. I couldn't go up by more than 3 in the 1st half.

In great position for the playoffs, hope to keep the #1 seed. 4 weeks earlier I traded Rashard to SAC for Casspi and Garcia, i just had to get rid of his contract. However that 1 trade vaulted SAC to #1 in the West, surprising. Traded for Amundson as my backup PF and extended his contract 2 more years for a measley $999k/season.

Quick note: John Wall is becoming frustrated in WAS due to Arenas getting all the PT, AND they traded for Beaubois. This is messed up, i was able to edit the minutes rotation just so Wall doesn't force his way out but it appears inevitable. Even though I'm not a big fan of Jameer and i want to move him in the offseason i won't try to pry Wall away from WAS, just does't seem right.
Oh snap, wrong thread! my bad

what u guys think? why would the mavs do that? : /
Irl they might do it to cut salary. Its Beaubois they wont part with. But in this game he's offered up all tge time. If you think you can compete this year id do it cause they are solid players if your still rebuilding id save your money.

thx for answering matt, well actually i accepted in 2 seconds and realised too late that haywood and marion were under long term contracts : /

my goal is to build a contender and i thought i needed beaubois for that, luv that guy.. went for 32 pts in his 1st game as a wolves.. and off the bench

i still have 9M under salary cap but it shouldnt take long for me to get rid of haywood and marion's contracts

btw im rly not a big fan of the trade finder option, last time i checked for tolliver, the hawks proposed me jsmoove for him + my next 1st pick, i didnt take the trade cause it feels like cheating imo (or may b the cpu is so subtle that i think he's dumb when in fact, i am ...)

Lol yeah maybe were all wrong about the dumb trade logic and really they are outfoxing us all long term lol.

The cpu overvalues 1st rd picks in relation to last years record not accounting for the increase in wins related to the player we are acquiring.

Im running a Pistons association and Villanueva got buried on the bench by Ibaka J. Hill and Darko(yeah that Darko lol) so he was a 7 million dollar tumor to me. It took me awile to trade him cause I didn't really want a return just to be rid of him. I evetually sent him to CLE for A. Parker then I waived Parker.

          Right now my team is

          R. Westbrook/McGrady/I. Smith
          Hamilton/Gordon
          Prince/J. Jeffries
          Ibaka/Hill
          Wallace/Darko/P. O'Bryant

Im looking into a sf for next year someone who can be a 2nd/3rd option. I've looked at J. Green and Damion James but im open to other suggestions. I also am restricted in that Gordon and Hamilton have to stay on the team for at least 2 years cause of the Westbrook deal I made.(it was a rule I put on myself cause I felt the Westbrook trade was cheap but cpu accepted)

Yea I wouldn't think they would trade Danny Granger, but thought I'd see . What about Prince, Hamilton and Stuckey for Iguodala(a very disgruntled Iggy), Lou Williams and Kapono

And after this trade, he moves TMac to SG, trades Gordon and Wallace for a better C (or for Amir J, in which case Ibaka plays C) and a pick and resigns AI as TMc backup ... that way, he would have brought back all ex Piston players while finally having no current team players in the team.

You'd need J. Stackhouse to round it out...are Terry Mills and Otis Thorpe in the FA pool? heh...almost forgot Theo Ratliff

2 different people, but a good idea if I wanted to change the entire team

I am just looking to make a fair trade for a good SF(or a SG that could play SF) :o

sanders is young, can dunk and play D.. illy is someone that i hit every three with for some strange reason lol.. only downside that i can see is that your losing out on some rebounding by getting rid of blair, but if they are offering a 1st rd pick too then id take it

I agree with you on Ilyasova's jumper, it's sweet! I ended up going with that deal. I actually can't remember if I had to give up both my 1st rounders or just a 1st and a 2nd but I did get Ilyasova, Sanders and the Bucks 2011 1st rd. Iliyasova didn't really fit with my scheme though and I already had Jefferson taking quite a few minutes at SF and PF. Also the Bucks 1st rounder isn't a good one cause they are like 9-3! So they will most likely be in the playoffs. So I used trade finder, and Pheonix offerd Dragic and their 2011 1st rd for Ilyasove and my (Bucks) 1st rd. The Suns are of to a horrible start and are like 1-9 in their last 10. I also took it cause Dragic only had 1 year left instead of Iliyasova's 2-4 years(can't remember). I also gave some 2nd rounders for theirs. I know it seems unrealistic to trade someone immediately after getting them but I want guys I can use. not to mention I play with player roles and team morale on so minutes and roles have alot to do with what I set up. Then... lol, I used trade finder again because I definitely don't need Dragic with Parker/Manu/Anderson and Hill. The Nets gave me Damion James. I love James so far cause he's a decent shooter and a good defender and rebounder. So I can use him at PF also. So after ALL that I lose Blair, Splitter and a 1st rd pick for Larry Sanders, Damion James and the Suns 2011 1st rd. Now my line up looks like this, with Perry Jones hopefully on the way next season.

                      5-Sanders/McDyees/Bonner
                      4-Duncan/James
                      3-Jefferson/James/Anderson
                      2-Ginobili/Hill/Anderson
                      1-Parker/Hill

                      What do you guys think?
                      Dallas Cowboys
                      San Antonio Spurs
                      Texas Rangers
Baylor Bears Iowa Hawkeyes Texas Longhorns

well i am with the rockets and i 'm doing pretty fine until now . we 're about 30 wins 22 loses. i have lost many games from stupid mistakes so i think that if i am a litle more careful i can go for the championship
so i want another player who's gonna be the third star in the team and he;s gonna help me become a contender.
i m not willing to give yao ,martin or scola so this means that i have to give either battier or brooks. (from bench players i dont mind give away hayes, lowry, kristopher lee or if i cant avoid it brad miller)

                        any suggestions

Check teams with bad records ... it seems you will need either a SF or a PG, depending on what you give away.

Some players that come to my mind (conditioned to situation & fairness):
                          - Wallace & Livingston (CHA)
                          - Flynn & Johnson (MIN)
                          - Iguodala & Williams (PHI)
                          - Chandler & Randolph & Walker (NY)
                          - Melo (DEN)
                          - Prince & Bynum (DET)
                          - Marion & Barea & Haywood (DAL)
                          ...

I think you should go with a setup man at the PG spot, your core 3 Yao,Martin,Scola should take up the bulk of your points. I think Andre Miller would be a good fit. Battier holds down the defense i think. If you want more scoring how bout Grant Hill[cheap option but will retire soon]?

Id think its fair if Varejo and Williams is what your looking for. Id keep Kaman for his offensive potential at a shallow position. Depends on what you want out of your bigs though
