Your team has a lot of depth to it, which is great down the road. The only thing that I don't like is now you have 4 centers. I would probably trade one of them for a pick or someone else as a backup to one of the other 4 positions, but that's just my opinion. Other than that you have a great team with a lot of potential. -
I'm starting an association with the Kings. They are surprisingly deep and I love Tyreke, Thorton, Isiah Thomas, and Jimmer. They have some quality bigs too with Cousins, and Thompson. I decided to make a few trades to remove the log jam they have at SF ( they have like 6 SFs with the latest roster updates lol )
Traded: John Salmons, '13 1st Round pick
Received: Paul Milsap
Salmons does not have the most ideal contract, but the 1st round pick makes this deal fair in my eyes. It also makes both teams better, as Milsap will be an instant starter for me, and Salmons gives the Jazz a SG to carry on after Bell retires and while Burkes gets up to speed.
Traded: Fransico Garcia
Received: Hasheem Thabeet, Portland '12 second round pick, '13 second round pick
Definitely lost on this deal, talent wise, but it worked out for me. Garcia was due over 8 million a year for 2 yrs. Thabeet's contract is a little over 5 million a year. By making this trade, I was able to cut my budget, and re-sign Jason Thompson, to a 1 year extention (+1 year team option) worth a little over 3 million a year. So I removed a marginal SF, got two 2nd rounders that I can trade together for a Lakers or Heat 1st round pick, and re-signed a young PF, while maintaining the same budget. The reason why this is a big issue is that I am sitting at the 18 million of cap space for next offseason so if I can maintain that, I can maybe swing a deal for CP3 or Deron.
Traded: Terrence Williams, Travis Outlaw
Received: Richard Jefferson
Actually did this one tonight and forgot all about my strategy with maintaining plenty of cap space for the off season, but this trade was done because I need a wing that can knock down 3s. None of the guys at SF could do that with any regularity, but RJ is rated at 90 from down town and he can light it up.
I also signed Mehmet Okur to a 1 yr deal to see how he works out. The threat he gives me from deep has really paid off. He has knocked down 2 threes in both games this yr and that is with limited action. He could really help me out if I have to go to him more if we get hit with injuries. I'll be looking to keep him around.
So my lineup is:
PG: Isiah Thomas, Jimmer Freddette
SG: Tyreke Evans, Marcus Thorton
SF: Richard Jefferson, Donte Greene
PF: Paul Milsap, Jason Thompson
C: DeMarcus Cousins, Chuck Hayes, Mehmet Okur, Hasheem Thabeet
Any thoughts or advice about this team and these trades? This team is amazing. I have both starting bigs averaging double doubles in the first two games, Isiah Thomas is averaging over 20 ppg and 10 apg (lol) and Reke is averaging 25 ppg with Thorton as the 6th man averaging 18 ppg.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Im the Memphis Grizzlies in my OA and just made this trade to the Sixers owner.
Sixers get:
Rudy Gay
Mareese Speights
Sam Young
Grizzlies get:
Evan Turner
Thad Young
John Salmons
I didnt really wanna give up Speights because of his midrange game off the bench, but i just drafted a 75ovr PF with an A POT rating. Im starting him over Zach Randolph. Plus with the addition of E.Turner and Thad Young, I got mad young talent with serious potential (Evan Turner has A+ POT).
So now my starting lineup is:
PG: Mike Conley
SG: OJ Mayo
SF: Evan Turner
PF: Anthony Lloyd (Rookie)
C: Marc GasolSixers/Panthers/Tarheels

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Me and a buddy are doing a 76ers/Celtics Association (I'm Philly) and we're in Year 2. My current lineup is Holiday, Iggy, D. Granger, A. Drummond, Hawes. I want to shake up my team and clear some cap space. Also, Iggy has said that he won't accept his player option at the end of the season. I've set up this trade and I know the CPU will accept it, but I feel like I'm at least ripping off one team, if not two. Here's the trade:
NJ receives:
SG/SF Andre Iguodala (86, from PHI)
SF/PF Thaddeus Young (77, from PHI)
Current first round pick (from PHX via PHI; This will be a top 5 pick. Suns are garbage.)
Current first round pick (from NJ)
LAC receives:
PG Jrue Holiday (81, from PHI)
PHI receives:
PG Deron Williams (87, from NJ)
SG MarShon Brooks (74, from NJ)
PG Eric Bledsoe (65, from LAC)
Future second round pick (from LAC)
This gives me a franchise PG and a backup PG. Currently, Holiday is my only PG and I've been running Meeks there. Also, I get Brooks, who I can choose to resign or not depending on development. Williams is already signed to a 5-year deal, so it gives me security I didn't have with Iggy. This move also frees up some much needed cap space. I also signed Joey Graham (70) to a one-year deal after the trade to ease the blow of losing Thaddeus Young.
My main concern is that the Clippers are getting ripped off. Thoughts?NBA 2K17 SimWorld MyLEAGUE: So Much Drama in the DMV - A Baltimore Bullets Expansion MyLEAGUE

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
im no vet when it comes to this but it seems somewhat fair only thing I would say would be im not so sure if NJ would be willing to throw Marshon Brooks in there as they already giving up a superstar in D-Will who should bring back a decent amount of talent plus picks on his own. Maybe its the cap IDK. Do the Clippers still have CP3 ? if so I doubt they would make that trade as Holiday would eventually walk in free agency for a starting job. Its fair as far as the talent has been spreaded but a couple questionable basketball moves from my perspective, again im no vet at this.NBA 2K17 SimWorld MyLEAGUE: So Much Drama in the DMV - A Baltimore Bullets Expansion MyLEAGUE

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'm in the process of making the Wizards competitive. Anyway, I'm thinking of pursuing Josh Smith (2nd year).
Do yall think this is fair?
Was gives:
Nene (78)
Singleton (73)
1st round pick
ATL gives:
Josh Smith (86)
Tracy Mcgrady (72)
Smith is a FA at the end of the season but in 2kland he wants to re-up. They also traded for Kris Humphries. I'm thinking Nene lets Horford play his natural 4 a little more. My team has too many nickels, dimes, and quarters and not enough dollar dollar bills yall. Signed Eric Gordon and drafted MKG, those are about the only major moves I've made.[NYK|DAL|VT]

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
The Pistons see Monroe as being a franchise player, you probably would have to offer more than a half decent role player and a guy who wouldn't even get off the benchComment
