Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
^Because while he's young, I don't want to rebuild around a 26-year-old.
How about these two?
Rondo straight-up for Westbrook. Ray Allen retired, so Westbrook provides scoring, and Rondo fits better than Westbrook on OKC.
Pierce a 1st and 2 2nds (IDGAF about the 2nds, I just threw them in for the hell of it), for Danny Granger.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
OKC would never trade Westbrook for Rondo straight up
Other trade is good tho IMOComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Three team deal:
To Knicks - Goran Dragic (HOU), Chase Budinger (HOU)
To Rockets - Nicolas Batum (POR), Elliot Williams (POR), Tony Douglas (NYK)
To Blazers - Jeremy Lin (NYK), Landry Fields (NYK)
Portland gets a starting PG in Lin and a 2/3 in Fields. The Rockets get a big upgrade at the 3 plus some young players. The Knicks get a cheaper starting PG and some more 3 point shooting in Budinger.
I'm the Knicks in this scenario and I think it's going to be too expensive to keep Lin and Fields on the team.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Why wouldn't they? Rondo is not only on a cheaper contract, but he's a distributor...the Thunder need a better distributor, they already have scorers.Comment

So I'm the clippers and I realize they probably would never trade Griffin but I've played with the clippers before and had him on a nets team from last year, so I made this trade: Griffin, B Simmons, R Evans to the thunder for Harden, Ibaka, Aldrich, Maynor, what do y'all think? I didn't start the association with injuries on so I still have Billiups, and I sent Nick Young to the Rockets for Parsons (both are a 73) I just wanted to get a sg I could score with while staying athletic down low by getting IbakaComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
What about Rondo and Johnson for the #1 pick, Oden, and Nolan Smith?
Obviously, POR gets a top 5 PG in Rondo (even better after I improved his mid-range and dribble pull-up), and a good prospect in Johnson. They also get to stop worrying about Oden being hurt and they won't have to take a chance on him for 5 more years.
I take a risk with Oden, but the reward could be good. Right now, he'll be backing up Garnett, so I'll save his big minutes for (hopefully) the playoffs, and hopefully I can work on his durability (not sure if there is an off-season drill for that, I have to check) and eventually have him take over as the starting C for years to come. Nolan Smith will be a good backup PG (I signed Andre Miller to fill the starting role for a season in Rondo's absence), and while not the best, he has some alright potential, nothing more, nothing less. With the #1 pick, I'm looking at Davis, and I want him to basically be the next KG, and he'll get to learn from KG himself while getting some significant minutes behind Bass in the 6th or 7th man slot.
My plan is to simulate another season (I like to sim a lot, haha), MAYBE bring back KG another season, probably trade Allen at the deadline for a low 1st to a contender looking for scoring, and (hopefully) have enough cap space to make a run at CP3.
Would be really fun to build around CP3, Davis, and Bradley.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Magic trade:
Ishmael Smith(67), Glen Davis(72), Earl Clark(66), Daniel Orton(63) & '13 1st round pick. (sent over in a seperate trade to make it seem fair)
Nets trade:
Kris Humphries(75), Jordan Williams(68), Sundiata Gaines(65).
The Nets get some potential as they are not going anywhere, while the Magic get cap space with Humphries who could later be used in future trades.
Thoughts?
Also any trades that would be fair'ish for Nash?
Was thinking perhaps;
Magic trade:
J.Nelson(76), K.Humphries(75), V.Wafer(69), '13 2nd round pick.
Magic Receive:
S.Nash(86), M.Redd(66), J.Przybilla(64).
Suns trade:
S.Nash(86), M.Redd(66), R.Lopez(71), '12 2nd round pick.
Suns Receive:
J.Nelson(76), K.Humphries(75), V.Wafer(69), '12 1st round pick, L.Babbit(65).
Trail Blazers trade:
'12 1st round pick, L.Babbitt(65), J.Przybilla(64).
Trail Blazers Receive:
R.Lopez(71), '13 2nd round pick, '12 2nd round pick.
The Trail Blazers get a young Big man with potential, the Suns receive potential, young players and a 1st round draft pick. The Magic receive salary cap in the off-season and Nash to compliment the team.
Thoughts?Football: Manchester United
MLB: Cleveland Indians
NBA: Miami Heat
NFL: Cleveland BrownsComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
In My Fantasy Draft year 2 online association my team is currently
PG- Curry 85
SG- JR Smith 78
SF- Lebron 99
PF- Faried 74
C Hibbert 82
6- Teague 78
7- Fields 77
8 Nick Young 77
9 Gortat 75
10 Markieff Morris 70
11 Ayon 66
12 Korver 61
SO I offered this trade:
Me(Magic)
Teague
hibbert
Fields
1st
for
Howard
50 overall scrub
Is this fair? I'm not sure if this will even get accepted but I hope it does. I think Howard could put me over the top against the other users. Teague is on a one year deal and indicated he doesnt want to resign.Last edited by kevinmerida; 04-18-2012, 01:09 PM.Comment
