Started a Cavs franchise, looking to rebuild. Made one big trade so far:

Thunder get: Antawn Jamison, Joey Graham, Leon Powe, 2012 1st round pick
Cavs get: Serge Ibaka, Morris Peterson, Nenad Kristic

Main reasons for this trade for me was to get rid of cap and I wanted Ibaka. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Also, should I do one of these trades? ( Main purpose is to free up cap space) Any others in mind?
Mo Williams, Anderson Varejao, and 2011 2nd round pick for Greg Oden and Joel Pryzbilla.
Mo Williams and Anderson Varejao for Troy Murphy and Damion James.
Mo Williams and Anderson Varejao for Rodrigue Beaubois and Tyson Chandler.
Mo Williams and Anderson Varejao for Michael Redd and Chris Douglas-Roberts

i like the chandler and beaubois trade the most since chandler has a nice $12 mil coming off the books. you also get a young PG with potential. the oden trade is also a good one.

I made the Oden trade, considering that he's young and him and Pryzbilla are coming off the books. I have a nice little lineup of:

Simulating the first season to get into free agency and try to get Melo and then going to play the next season. Currently 15-23. What do you guys think? I know I need a better SF. Suggestions?

Warriors (me): David Lee, Monta Ellis, 1st rounder

Clippers: Blake Griffin, Baron Davis

Obviously not realistic, but in the game I don't think it's a massively unfair trade.

Also:

Warriors: Baron Davis

Magic: J-Rich

This was probably unfair, but it was offered through trade finder, so I took it.

And:

Warriors: Udoh, Biedrins, a few other role players

Pacers: Hibbert, Posey

New starting 5:

Curry
Richardson
Wright

Hey fellas!

I'm really intrigued by what the Pacers have got going on so I'm thinking of starting an association with them. Just wondering what sort of moves you would make? I can't see too many being made this season in real life as that have about $20 million + to play with in free agency.......

They are pretty alright on the perimeter but def need help next to Hibbert at the PF spot! McRoberts is going to take a bit of time to develop and Hansbrough is much better in the game than in real life......

thoughts? (I don't just start then trade, I usually play about 30 games then evaluate if moves need to be made)

Warriors get: Anthony Randolph Knicks get: Andris Beidrins, Terrence Jones, 2012 2nd round pick What do you think fair trade anyone get the better end of it? I was the warriors on this trade and i felt like Beidrins was becoming a liability everywhere but rebounding and blocking shots. Anthony Randolph is worse on d but i can develop him there. sorry for the spacing ill try to fix it later.

I think the Knicks got the better end, in my opinion since they could develop Terrence Jones and use that 2nd Rounder.

You definitely lost out there mate. Terrence Jones is a lottery pick, perfect fit for the current warriors imo. & Randolph? didnt the warriors just trade his *** away?

During the 2011 draft I made this trade:

Suns receive 17th overall pick and 2012 1st Round Pick from Nuggets for Josh Childress and 23rd overall pick.

My reasoning was I wanted to move up and take SF/SG Tyler Honeycutt from UCLA. He made Childress expendable. Also for Denver, Carmelo left so they needed a SF.

Celtics trade: Jermaine O'Neal
Thunder trade: Nenad Kristic, 1st round pick

Celtics trade: Marquis Daniels, Von Wafer, Thunder 1st round pick, Celtics 1st round pick
Pistons trade: Tracy McGrady, DaJuan Summers

I think I did a pretty good job with the trades here. Ray Allen was hurt when I acquired James Anderson so he started for then but he's kinda become a bench warmer now that I got TMac. Robinson ended up being a 6th man/role player for the Spurs, same with Erden, who actually did a pretty nice job in a Fabricio Oberto type role for them.

O'Neal ended up giving the Thunder a presence in the post and averaged around 15 ppg for them while Kristic is just a benchwarmer for me (only acquired him because I knew he'd be happy with his role on my team and the salaries matched). And then I was able to turn that 1st round pick and package it with all that other stuff to get TMac to take my team to the next level. I ended up with the best record in the league with about 64 wins I believe.

My other team is the Lakers and I think the only trade I made there was this:
Lakers Trade: Shannon Brown
Cavaliers trade: 1st round pick

Lakers trade: Matt Barnes
Pacers trade: Brandon Rush

Brown was unhappy with his playing time and the Cavaliers were interested according to Rumor Central so I looked at trade finder and that was the offer that Cleveland had on the table for Brown. Barnes was also unhappy so I went to Player Finder and looked for a SG that can shoot the ball and play solid defense and has a Laid Back personality and found Rush. I also ended up with Pooh Jeter on my team somehow, but I don't remember if he started with the team or if I got him in one of the trades somehow.
