I can't add players or trade players to created teams (exported teams) anymore. Even if I edit the teams and drop the legends in the FA pol they dissapear. WTF is going on man. I could do this 2 days ago, and now after the patch I can't do anything

Delete the patch and try again, this will answer if the patch is the what is causing the issue.

If the patch is the cause, that's likely done to eliminate the workaround so that we're forced to spend $10 on the DLC for the privilege of editing classic team rosters.

Is there a way we can put a created missing player unto a Classic team without create a team method?

Yep, that's what I'm thinking as well. Unless this is a necessary evil to assist in affording the inclusion of all these classic players, I find this to be poor form on 2K's part. Though, I truly do feel the DLC might have something to do with the cost of including hundreds of these classic guys. But if this is just an unnecessary money grab, I strongly disapprove going through such lengths to disallow something as routine as filling out the rest of incomplete classic teams already included.

Yeah 2K is wierd with this year. We should have total control over the classic rosters once we unlock them. It looks like we will have to pay the $10 bucks this year to achieve this. I'm glad the DLC will allow us to do this now, but its just odd how 2K is going about this.

out of curiosity - since we can't move any of the legends without taking them into a season and exporting the team (which I will not be doing. exporting teams doesn't always work out as planned.)

anyway..can we at least edit the legends (accessories, shots, etc.) without having to take them into a season?

Didn't take the time to read through 58 pages of this thread, so I don't know if this has been addressed...but...

I finally gave the Exporting Teams a try, and as I feared, rosters were screwed up.

LeBron James became "Jax James", Kobe Bryant became " Bryant", Tayshaun Prince became "Prince", & Jodie Meeks became "Jodie Ax".

same thing as past 2Ks when I would export teams.

any way fix for this? (besides loading an un-screwed up roster, taking them into a season, exporting a team with LeBron James, and replacing Jax James with LeBron)

Hey, I put my legends into a pool but for some reason when I try to put the same legend on 2 different create custom teams (I had about 4) crazy ish happened. Players disappeared off rosters, other players repeated...
What is happening?

No kidding about the DLC. Hopefully with the money they are essentially stealing from us, they get better servers.

Hey once you put FA into the pool, is there anyway to get them out? I wanted to do an association mode with only the modern teams.
I don't actually want to take them out entirely, I just want them not to be used in this particular association mode.

Ok I just read the DLC thread & I gather buying it is the ONLY way to customize an association with classic teams. I understand their need to make extra $$ to pay for the legends but after the flexability of last yr it is a letdown

Can I do an association with the classic Knicks but use the modern arena?? The crowd & sounds are better than in the old one.

It seems this won't be possible until the DLC is released. There were funky workarounds, but it seems some of those workarounds have be shut off post-patch.
