Yes it worked late last night, and earlier today...now it says that I may not assign a player from a created team... and i don't know what is going on, that's why i'm wondering if there's some glitch in the game.

Not that I know of.. have you moved more than 158 legends?

Can you transfer 158 legends plus a number of created players?

Also, if you include a classic team in an association but not as an export, do they count against the 158? Can you trade/drop players from a classic team that wasn't exported?

Not that I know of.. have you moved more than 158 legends?

No... only 3... I put Shaq, Kareem, and Big O on different teams... come back home from work and exported the legend teams, added players to them and can't assign, trade, or release the legends

Ok I must be missing something for this to work do all the teams need to be unlocked because when I start a franchise and get ready to change the teams the classic teams don't even show up?

Yes you have to beat all the teams in Greatest Mode

Dach if you havent gotten it to work already delete the teams you have left to edit in create a team menu. Then go back into season mode and redo the process again for those teams. It should work after that....mine did. I don't know how yours started but I went into Make a Legend mode to see if these rosters were there and went back to editing and thats when I got the message. So maybe once you start editing just keep going till you finish.

So I was very pleased Tuesday when I was able to release and trade players from exported teams which was not allowed last year...but for some reason I am having the same experience where it's telling me I may not trade or release players from a created team. I am sure it WAS working but now it's not...this really ties my hands on what I wanted to do with these rosters...

The same thing happened to me and then all of a sudden it just started working. I didn't change anything I was doing except I started the entire process over again. You will know it's working when you go to trade one of the legends on the exported team and you don't get that error message. All I can say is keep trying. It's frusterating but it will work. One thing I found helped me is if I used roster file (A) when I took the lengend teams into season mode, I used roster file (A) when I loaded the exported team. But really there seams to be no rhyme or reason to it. It just works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.

So I reset the rosters and now it is working again...I wonder if it has something to do with editing players...or the Auto save option...one thing is for sure I want to make sure I have this nailed down before getting too involved in roster making...

For those of you having trouble moving the legends from your exported teams there is another way to do this although with some negative results. If you go to edit the exported team in the create a team menu and back out of it you will see that you can now assign legends to another any current team. The only problem with this method is that these legends are only copied. So let's say you assigned Jordan to the Bulls. If you delete the old Bulls "created" team with say the Sonics you will notice that the current Bulls now have Hersey Hawkins on their roster instead of MJ.

I don't know if that makes any sense to anyone. I was just thinking if wanted to move a couple of legends to play a quick game this would be a way to do it. Just don't expect to move a ton of legends using this method.

That happen'd to me but when I released the legends vanished. Legends were on my other exported team but when I released, they vanished. Please help, why is everyone afraid of doing a video??

Can this process be used to duplicate modern nba players as well as legends. I'd like to have two Lebron James... one for the cavs and one for the heat

Ok sounds good and simple..., but are the legend teams still there?
