WOW!!! all this for stuff guys have been doing for years!!!! I wish someone would have opened an account for Portlandblazer and I back in 07 when me and him made over 150 teams using this method, No 2k share back then either so we uploaded it to a site, almost 800 DL's later the number is still climbing. gmcr28, I give you credit for being the first one to post it on here about 2k12, but while you were posting I was creating. have every Team USA basketball squad done, 2002 Lakers, 97 Heat (sux because they have the new uni's not the old) and the 02 wizards. BTW, I have it on the PS3 once I perfect my CAPS they will be up on 2k share, but right now i'm unlocking all the Classic teams!

Thats good for you buddy, but this thread has nothing to do with any of what you just said that you have created. So dont come in here advertising your own work and trying to bash mine. Make your thread about the teams you have created and which ones you plan on creating.. Thanks

Well like I said it isn't my fault no one made an account like that other guy did to thank you. I had no prior knowledge of what you and portlandblazer had found back in 2007. Plus I have finds for being able to put legends into the Create A Legend Mode, which was just implemented into the game this year, and my player mode, which i'm assuming you didnt "find" this out before back in 2007. So once again make your own thread of what teams you have created and CAP's you plan on creating instead of coming in here getting mad about someone thanking me..

lol i wasnt tryin to get anything started. I never have came to this site before today. I was piss and on the edge of trading the game in when I found this. I was just thanking the guy for doing that because I knew even if 2k would patch it, it would be forever like last year with association and my player.

The main point is that gmcrb28 took the time to test and figure out workarounds for this year's game...something which is still being figured out. The fact that you felt threatened by others thanking him is laughable.

You know whats really stupid though?.....I can give LeBron and Wade numbers # 33, 10. But if you put Alonzo and Timmy they can have any number besides thier numbers 33, 10 . Same goes for P. Ewing 33 on Knicks and every other retired number for that matter. The problem is don't let regular players able to use the numbers. Either let all or none

Did you assign them off of the free agent list??? or did you start a Custom season, then put in the 91 warriors and the 92 hornets and assign the two to the heat? That was my method and i'm pretty sure it kept them with 10 and 33. I'll have to double check tho..

Ok, I didn't want to read through 48 pages to see if this was answered but after 11 pages I didn't find it.

So I'm trying to put legend players in the Free Agent spots, and I can't figure out how to do it. I started a new season, selected the 4 teams that my friends and I want to use. I exported them, left the season, and loaded the teams. I see those 4 exported teams in the Manage Rosters menu where they should be. But here's where I can't figure out what else to do. I don't understand the 5th step in the first post. Am I supposed to make those four new, exported teams' rosters full? I did that, but then when I go under the '93 Magic roster and try to "release" Shaq to Free Agents, the option to release him isn't there. I can't figure out how to release any of them.

Can somebody help me please?
