Ok, I didn't want to read through 48 pages to see if this was answered but after 11 pages I didn't find it.

So I'm trying to put legend players in the Free Agent spots, and I can't figure out how to do it. I started a new season, selected the 4 teams that my friends and I want to use. I exported them, left the season, and loaded the teams. I see those 4 exported teams in the Manage Rosters menu where they should be. But here's where I can't figure out what else to do. I don't understand the 5th step in the first post. Am I supposed to make those four new, exported teams' rosters full? I did that, but then when I go under the '93 Magic roster and try to "release" Shaq to Free Agents, the option to release him isn't there. I can't figure out how to release any of them.

Can somebody help me please?

Is the 93 magic team one of the ones your exporting out of your season? You can only release legends if they are one of your exported teams.

How do I export them? They aren't an option when I go under a new season. They don't exist there at all to choose.

you export them in association mode. then goto season, start then back out of it without saving. then goto load export team. you should be able them if you done it right. thats how i done it

its under the save option in the season menu

When I release the legends, they just disappear. They don't show up in the FA pool. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Did you assign them off of the free agent list??? or did you start a Custom season, then put in the 91 warriors and the 92 hornets and assign the two to the heat? That was my method and i'm pretty sure it kept them with 10 and 33. I'll have to double check tho..

I traded them from the Warriors, Hornets to the Heat and it didn't work....I'm gonna try the Free Agent list now though since you brought it up

I think people are overlooking what you CAN do that we couldn't last year...1) trade, release, and sign from exported teams. 2) no more CAP face glitch. 3) MOST backups are already on there especially with the more current teams.

At the end of the day, I think we will find that we can pretty much do whatever we want with the exception of age change issue for association lovers.

Of course it is frustrating that it could have been so much easier...

I signed up here just to post this.

You may want to get some conformations on which version people are using.Most people don't state which version they use.

Took me awhile to get the PC version downloaded from Steam.If it's a port what works on the console should work on PC.

So before I even had it , I read this post a few times to make sure I had it down before trying it.

After which, this trick does not work for the PC version.It does the exact thing that many have reported on this thread.When you release from the exported team it deletes them , does not put in FA pool.When you try to trade it says you cannot trade to a created team.

Thanks to gmcrb28 for getting this to work for some.
