Requested a trade to the Heat for fun, 3 days later the Warriors trade me(64 ovr rookie SF) and a '13 1st for Chris Bosh. The CPU moved LeBron to PF to give me minutes off the bench at SF and made Battier the starter.

Heading into Conference Semis Playoffs, We dropped down to #5. We beat Knicks 4-2. I avged 22 in reg season. I figured out why Miami was so low. LBJ is on Magic and Bosh is on NYK. We lost the regular season battle against Magic. I had a game defensive game against LBJ. Only gave up 18. Our problem is Interior Defense. We give up so much inside points. I didnt check it, but I think we face them in the second round. I think theyre our toughest matchup in the playoffs. It is all on Josh Smith and our Center.
I said I wanted us to draft a big man in the draft. But, I wouldnt mind if we drafted a SF. So, I can play at my own position.
I have Quickness at 93 and Dunk at 84. I might turn on Run Plays again. I cant get to the rim. I have the star under me, but I am not considered a star yet.

I have a question: when I try driving in using the left trigger and right stick (or sometimes X) to do a euro or hopstep and i lose the ball trying to do the move, what attribute do I upgrade to prevent this? Is it ball security (which I am a 90 in) or hands? I'm pretty sure it's ball security but I mean it's at a fairly high rating so idk what's up.

Also upgrading euro/hop in the abilities section might help, I'm currently saving skillpoints to upgrade euro/hop to "good" and later to "great"

my SG has hands at 90 and Ball security at 95, and sometimes this still happens, but only if I initiate the euro/hop too late and there's a lot of traffic (shoot in traffic at 95, layup at 99). I guess it is bad timing or too much traffic. Try to initiate the move a soon as you beat your defender and have a bit of space in the lane. Works for me most of the time.

Increasing your Ball Security always helps, but you also need to improve your Hop-Step Ability.

Also, don't drive into traffic. Make sure you beat your man with dribble moves before attempting a layup move. That works for me.

76ers's generated SG (draft#1 overall) just stole the ball from me. When I chased him down, he did the Jordan signature FT line dunk against me and get and 1. WTH? the generated player can do that... Wowww

This guy's name is Bo Knight, currently rate 92. Quite frustrate with the draft glitch that make 76ers full of the players like this. (You may count Bobcats as well)

I think, right now 76ers have Jrue Holidays rate 84 as PG, Bo Knight (the guy above) Rate 92, SF (another 1st overall pick again) rate 87, PF (Guess what?, another 1st overall pick again) rate 84 and C rate 78 I cant remember a name.

They also has backup PG rate 82 (1st overall pick) and SF rate 78 (1st overall pick but he just drafted this 6th season so his rating is not high yet) Nice that they always got super players on RC scale contract every year while my team always got scrubs.

If it isn't my T-Wolves, 76ers probably won a few championships already.

Yes, I have a SG (77) / 76ers (favorite team), I stopped playing him BC I thought he was a failure BC they drafted a player higher rated SG (82) after my rookie season!

This glitch really needs to be fixed. Quite annoying making decisions with your player based on the alphabet!!! However, I would of never thought that my PG/Knicks in his rookie season would win a championship out of the East with the Heat!

The Knicks, "K", would draft a player with a 54 and 59 rating for my next season. But they did balance the roster (abundance of PGs) and added some nice veterans for the bench, so I am really not complaining for now. We will see as I progress in the season and have to face the 76ers a few times!

Or do drive into traffic like I do and go to the line 25 to 30 times a game.

It used to happen to me a lot as well (the losing the ball) and it frustrated the hell out of me.

I don't know if it is because I raised the appropriate stats but it almost never happens to me now. I doubt my MP's size has anything to do with it but just for reference my MP is 6'10" and I almost never lose the ball in traffic going to the rim anymore.

Like I said, the thing that happens most is that I go to the line a lot. I was looking at my playoff stats, we (Portland) are 6-0 right now (swept Mavs and up 2-0 on the Thunder). In those 6 playoff games I've gone to the line 147 times! I know averaging 24.5 trips to the line a game is a bit much but it's the playoffs and I'm trying to play aggressive. My mid range and outside shooting is horrible.

After reading MaddenFranchise10 post, about his "monster" PG, I was wondering how many of us have modeled our players after specific NBA stars (current & former)?

I wish they would add the "Trash Talking" to Attributes; LOL , Don't even think about it, you are getting NUTHIN today...... After dropping consecutive 3s ..... All Day Baby; All Day!

The Emotion attribute is somewhat boring; however, I play w/ Stoudemire and his antics are enjoyable in highly contested games!

The story so far:

I'm a 6' 10" Athletic Power Forward with a mohawk and mutton chops.

Got drafted to the Knicks after Houston thought I had delusions of grandeur. Started slowly but then from nowhere I'm starting ahead of Amar'e. He can't be happy about that.

Like when I played 2K11, I only update my attributes twice a season - at All-Star break and in the close season. So I can come back and wow my team.

First season: a bit up and down, we (NY Knicks) just got into the playoffs at number 8 and then lost 4-1 to Miami in the first round.

Second season: Landry Fields went to the Cavs - probably because, strangely, Chris Paul has signed there, so we signed Vince Carter. We're not doing too well in this season. I doubt we'll make the playoffs but instead of moving now, I think I'll go into free agency. I've 50,000 points to spend soon.

so my 2k froze last night and erased my entire my player...F this game...unreal how poor of a product this is...so many freezes now I have to start my at the time 89 rated player all over.

And i was in the 2nd round of the playoffs in an elimination game vs Spurs.

F this...why can't they fix simple things like NOT FREEZE ALL THE TIME?!!?!?

Oh and as far as the draft being alphabetical - I can't comment on who actually got the first pick as it didn't show me, but the 76ers aren't doing well at all in the second season.

I'm the undersized center Quincy Jefferies. 6'9, 250 lbs. Athletic and powerful. Played the rookie showcase and got 12 pts 9 rebs 4 asts and 2 blks. Destroyed the other team. Got traded 9th by the Bobcats! Will be fun to play with future hall of famer Boris Diaw and all the other all-stars on the team!

I got drafted 9th over all by the Bobcats (who somehow managed to also get Kemba and Bismack), and right now I'm two games in. I decided to build my guy somewhat like Eric Gordon: fast/quick, can drive to the hoop, good mid-range game, not very good at shooting 3's, etc. I'm an above average defender, and my main problem is going for fast breaks too often, which occasionally leaves my guy wide open (if they get an offensive rebound). I'm bad at rebounding (because of my height) and I usually don't even try, so I'll only get 1 or 2 a game.

I'm averaging 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game and shooting 45% from the field. I'm excited to play with Kemba and Bismack going forward and I think we will be legit contenders in a year or two. Right now... we just suck lol.

In my second year with the Magic we are 2-0 after beating Charlotte and Miami.. The better news is that Dwight resigned with us for 6 years
