I had the same problem, the trick is to turn autosave off. I got frozen five damn times against the Heat in the finals. I turned autosave off and beat them in six (Z-Bo was the MVP, he destroyed Bosh Spice in the post) and it worked. Kinda depressing press conference after though, not what I wanted. Thought I'd see a full on interview kind of like after the rookie showcase but whatever.

I just deleted it from my Hard Drive and it works now.

But that also ruins normal and acceptable trades, which is also a bad thing. I'm assuming people DO want some level of trades in the game, just not the completely absurd Dwight Howard for Adam Morrison trades.

only give the players rated 75 and up or so no trade clauses then you still have role player trades but the stars stay put.

and your suggestion to turn off all trades wouldnt ruin normal acceptable trades?

I'm a 6-6 SG and got drafted by the 76er's.......We started out the gate 7-0 then we ended up losing 8. Finally ended the streak VS the Cavs so we're 8-8. I'm assuming we went on that losing streak because Elton Brand got hurt. About game 12, they traded Louis Williams and Spencer hawes for Lamar Odom and Shannon Brown. Noccioio sp? for Jordan Hill and i cant think now but we got JJ Hickson........after all those trades I moved into the starting line up. Jru, Me, AI, Odom, Hickson. My Player I'm avg 14 pts 2 steals, 3 asst, and 5 rebs

I have a real gripe right now. I can't stand when the opposing team players just shoot 3's and make every single one! My team doesn't play a lick of defense.

Aldridge is back from his injury and we're winning again. I couldn't handle a lot of those Centers in the NBA right now. I was getting beat badly by Al Jefferson. It wasn't fair! Brandon Roy has been playing garbage. He can't make open shots to save his life. He doesn't go over my screens. IDK. Hopefully he gets better.

My rebounding has been a lot better. But I still get out rebounded by little PG and SG. Even though I'm at the ball first, they stick their hands up and take it from me. I get at least one block per game. I'm really happy about that.

I need to learn some post moves. I'm a face up PF. I can shoot lights out for the most part averaging 53% from the floor. I only take open shots.

How are people already in season 2, and how are people dropping 50+ points in the combine?

I'm in my 2nd season. I was drafted to the Bucks, and their only key games were against the Bulls. I didn't realize this though so I ended up playing probably 10 games.

Starting over sucks.... I had to remake my PG over, let's do some compare and contrast shall we.

RH3 Vol 1- Drafted 13th by Suns, burst on the scene slowly but developed fast. Had a nice amount of Key Games so I can make a big difference. Team gets traded and turned anew. No rookies mean ROY, 6th Man awards first year, number 2 overall in West, NBA Champions first year. Overall at the end of year 1, 78.

RH3 Vol 2- Drafted 8th by Pistons, burst on the scene immediately. Team has remained intact but is horrible. Only 8 Key games all year (against Pacers and Bulls). Downloaded roster with Rookies and with limited time and Key Games is out of the ROY race and 6th Man race. Second to last place in the East and don't expect to make playoffs. Overall at the end of year 1, TBA.

As far as the patch, it looks to me that it made things worse. The halftime show is cut, the quarter break commentary is cut, the Player of The Game is cut, and I havn't noticed any pluses so far.

Wow, My guy is like a 66 overall going into year #2. Did you spend all your points on attributes? I spent all of mine on abilities.

I spent ALL of mine on key attributes for my style of play. With a Scoring PG I made sure my Midrange, 3PT, Passing, Both Awarenesses and Free Throws was high. That helped for when my non key games were simmed because due to the way my player was scripted to play he played really good on his own. Another thing is using the Knockout drill because if you can make midrange jumpers you can get gold easily, and that helped with the expensive 3PT. (the choices you choose when you create your player, meaning Type 1 3pt Type 2 Iso, so on so on, is very important when the games are simmed.) I was getting a lot of milestones while I simmed (like making 100 straight free throws) All of my abilities are still on whatever they started on. I also spent my money on skill points for my attributes too.

Going deep and playing good in the playoffs helped a lot too.

You can easily get your guy to be a high 70's player by just increasing Awareness and Consistency.

Exactly. That's another one I focused on, Consistency. When I raised those things the overall went up a lot. And they are cheaper than most of the other things.

Why sim games? I see it as a loss of oppertunity for points to spend on your guy.

I've noticed that it seems like whoever I'm not on ends up destroying us. I play PG for the New and Improved (well, we were improved in year 1, ear 2 we suck somehow at 4-8) Suns and it never fails, if I'm on the opponents PG, he might score 4 all quarter at the most, while their SG is going off! I force myself on the scorer and then the PG starts going off. It's like OJ Mayo and Jamal Crawford can't guard anyone! I had to make sure I got my defensive skills up just so we can have a chance this year.

That does seem to happen quite a bit -- one of the things I have noticed is that the CPU hits a whole lot of 3's late, late, late in the shot clock -- in some cases with guys who have no business shooting them.

I've also seen some strange occurrences on the fast break -- this morning for example -- I gave Andre Iguodala an uncontested path to the hoop from between center and the top of the key and he went up to dunk, changed his shot and plunked the orange off the bottom of the backboard. Those types of moments make me cringe -- almost as much as watching my PG do anything but make sense in his play...

I'm really hoping that there's a slider set to adjust some of these "nuances" that I'm seeing

On this point, I'm buying attributes and I seem to be levelling up faster. I've gone from a 62 to a 67 in under 10 games. I always focus on getting all the shooting stats to an 80 and then work on things like rebounding, defense, vertical and strength.

As I max out those, I start to work on things like ball handling, speed and quickness

That's been the plan the last couple of years on MP -- seems to still work like a charm...

Exactly. I play on 12 min quarters. If I were to play every game, It would takes weeks(probably) a month to complete a season.
I want to be able to play deep into career. Plus I hate the team Im on(and their playbook) and Im comfortable where my attributes are at. Once I go to the team I want to stay on, I will play more.
