I really didn't do anything spectacular or different.

I got frustrated losing so many games going down the home stretch of the season so I decided to turn off plays.

On offense I simply let Felton bring the ball down court and right away set a pick for him up top near the 3 point line. I do that a few times if needed till I can actually get a clean open look on the roll towards the hoop.

I was getting a lot of and ones. I had nearly gotten 3 different guys on me to foul out.

On defense I simply keep the LT held down almost all the time and keep my guy in front of me and if he runs through screens to go somewhere else on the court I RT and run with him. When I'm facing my guy and he tries to get by me I sidestep holding both LT & RT so I can stay in front on him and don't let him get by me no matter what.

I just checked my profile on 2K and I was a bit off, we didn't blow them out by 19, it was only 15 points hehe.

How do you force fouls.
Even my player is a spot up shooter and I didnt touch FT, I want to get to foul line more
I am not sure about "Run Plays". I turn it on when I want everyone to be involved. We have success. But, I dont like the plays they run for me. I ALWAYS set a pick for Kemba and our athletic SG/SF.

Has anyone demanded a trade in their rookie season? LOL..I can't take playing with Utah anymore. We're 18-22 with me averaging 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists per game as a 3PT specialist PG.

For some reason, whatever roster I started my MP with a month or so ago didn't have Gordon Hayward on it and this team has NO SHOOTERS. It's impossible for my PG to get any assists unless I get the ball down low to Jefferson in the right spot. We get outrebounded every game and Josh Howard is a moron. Everytime the guy gets a rebound he tries to throw the ball downcourt to someone and it gets intercepted or flies out of bounds. WTF is he doing?! I need to get out of Utah!!

I'm a 6'10" SF and I cut/slash to the rim and get deep in there before I shoot. Many times if I don't dunk it automatically I just hold down the shoot button (x) and kinda just force into them for the contact.

If I don't get the bucket I almost always get a foul called on them, like I said sometimes I get a lot of and one's.

Here is a pic of my last few games and my trips to the charity stripe. That last playoff game against the Thunder I went to the line 35 times!

Yea, my FT shooting rating is pretty bad so I'm not exactly a stellar FT shooter lol.

Hows your Shooting % and do you get blocked alot, since you take alot of contact shots.
I wont really start attempting those type of shots sincemy Shot INside and Close is under 68 and my Dunk is untouched.

For the regular season I shot about 47%. Right now in the playoffs through 5 games I'm shooting around 56 or 58%.

I get blocked a couple of times a game sometimes. I have my inside shot, close shot, shooting in traffic, standing dunk & dunk, all at or near max.

Well after 5 games in the EAST Finals my Magic win the series 4-1 vs 2 Miami and advance the NBA Finals to play either the Thunder or the Lakers, they're in game 6 @ LA with the Thunder up 3-2

Um can someone explain to me how we are 66-16 heading into the Finals vs OKC, we split the season series vs them and we have a better record, but they have home court in game 1? Wtf

We won the NBA Finals. We won 90-83. I had 17pts, 3 rbs, 2 assists, and 3 Steals. We had the lead the entire game and was able to pull away late. I like the Championship annoucement. He said who would of thought the team who started this season would be the team to be last standing. I won Player of Game. They said no one picked us to win game 7 on the road. Off to FA. Magazine said "How Ya Like Me Now? Haters before: Jimm's Already Thinking Repeat". I didnt win Finals MVP.
They drafted another SG with their pick. But we needed depth though. He is similar to SG we have just shorter and a better shooter. Kemba is 87 OVR, Josh Smith is 85. SLoan is 82, Bowen is 79, and the rookie is 80. We have a great young roster. I got a 4 year 40.16 mil dollar contract.

Second question, this is more of a general XBOX question:

I'm trying to delete the cache (game history, etc.) and trying to see if the new update will be prompted for me to download. However, when I delete the cache, will any NBA 2K12 My Player Save Files, Progress, etc. be deleted? Or will it still remain. I just want to make sure before I delete the cache.

I'm currently having a great game in My Player: Knicks vs. Chicago. D-Rose is being sat with 7:42 to go in the 2nd Quarter. I currently have:

19 Points
2 Rebounds (OFF: 1 DEF: 1)
5 Assists
.667 3PT% (2/3)
1.000 FT% (5/5)
.710 FG% (5/7)

We're up by 10, and almost everyone who's been on has scored, which is great...except Baron.

I find the easiest way to get offensive boards is to generally read the defensive stance, positioning and shot clock. I establish positioning in the paint when one of my team-mates is about to shoot, and since you're the first one into the paint, vying for the board, getting into a box-out stance will stop the Opponent CPU from effectively gaining position, and once the ball bounces off the rim, you must have the appropriate timing to jump up and get the ball. I find this easier to do since I play Varsity Basketball and the rhythm comes easily to me. I hope this helps.

Heading into my 4th year, I only got 2 key games. The ENTIRE year. I face NO twice. And those two games are in January. So, I will only play those two games then it is the playoffs. I dont face another team with a star SG. Our Team OVR is 96. We still have 5.74 mil under cap.
We are 25-12 heading into our 1st key game. I rached 1000 career 3pters. I didnt even have Miami as a key game.

If I got drafted to a team like the pistons and became a starter and got 41 minutes, could I request a trade to a team like the heat and still get all 41 minutes I had in Detroit?

I think it depends on who the starter was for the Heat before you came. For instance, if you're a SF and got traded to the Heat I doubt you would start right away.
