i want to point out a more specific issue regarding layups and the shot stick - when attempting layups the game just plain ignores the direction i move the shot stick - i'll move the shot stick right, but my player will go left on the layup. i'll be under the hoop and move the shot stick left, but instead he lays it up on the right...what is the point of having the shot stick if you can't even control the direction your player does layups? really frustrating.

also the game uses that "leaning scoop layup" animation way too much...it just looks awkward in most situations and usually a more "normal" layup would be better.

This happens with dunks too and has been a problem for awhile.

When you start an association or season, have the option for living rosters in that game mode as well. I hate having to redo all the rotations when I start a new association/season, it's a pain. Also, fix the dang rotations. There aren't mass subs two minutes after the game starts. Also, stop bringing subs in when the game is out of hand. If you're down by 20 in the fourth with four minutes to go, all the starters don't come back in for a minute.

Create-a-Team....ONLINE.

This would be very similar to NCAA Football's TeamBuilder feature, but more in-depth.

You could choose to create an expansion OR relocate a team.
So when you go into Association, if you have chosen to relocate, there will be an option to have relocated teams or original teams. If you turn them on, then that team will replace the original team (so you don't end up with duplicate players). So for instance, you could relocate the New Orleans Hornets to Seattle. Online, you would create the jerseys, team name (which would obviously be the Super Sonics), and for the roster you could import the NOH roster to the now Seattle team. This way, you would not end up with two Eric Gordons in the same Association.

There would have to be a limit of teams in the league so if you imported expansion teams, you could only import so many. My limit for the league would be 50 teams. I know it sounds like a lot, but a 50 team schedule would look like this:

- 5 teams per division. 5 divisions in the Western Conference. 5 divisions in the Eastern Conference.

- You play each team in your division 3 times.
- You play all of the other teams in your conference 2 times.
- This is where it gets a little tricky... You play every team in the opposite conference 1 time, with the exception of 5 teams. You will play one team from the other conferences' divisions 2 times.

- For example: A team from the West would play the other four teams in their division 3 times. They will play ALL of the other teams in the West 2 times. They will play one team from each of the divisions in the East 2 times. They will then play every other team in the East one time. ((It adds up to 82 games))

- Now, the playoffs will then have 16 teams per conference. 32 teams make the playoffs. The first round would be a best of 5, and the next four rounds would be best of 7. So really, all you add is one, five game playoff series.


Now as far as creating the team, we would have to have access to EVERYTHING. Team name, logo, colors, jersey design, court, arena, arena name, etc.

Get the Three Point and Dunk Modes back in NBA 2k13, also include Kendrick Perkins as a prop.

Well I agree that if a guard is taking off from the same place as a big man he should not be able to keep up but as for guards blocking big men, Dwyane Wade is a great shot blocker and has denied several big men for example Tyson Chandler in the Finals last year. Not to mention in his career he averages one block a game and I guarantee you they aren't all on smaller players. If you're referring the point guards then I guess you have a point there.

True, but Wade is a fantastic leaper. We have a problem when guys like Barea/Nash starts blocking power forwards.

Anyways moving forward, for My Player:
1. Please bring back the feature in 2k10 where if you are the ballhandler you can call plays. It doesn't have to be complex like a triangle offense more like quick plays like Quick Iso, Quick P&R because I can tell you from experience you start a My Player with a young Michael Jordan-dunker type, because your team mates don't provide you an open lane to drive through, your gonna be start to play and build Reggie Miller style.

3. You give us 80+ Freethrow routines in My Player but not facility to practice the release? ADD A FREETHROW PRACTICE MODE IN MY PLAYER

4. The addition of Salary is nice, but why the hell should I pay for Kobe's (and other legends) shooting and freethrow form (and expensive at that). I can understand if they carry stat bonuses BUT THEY DON'T. They're just forms. So let's make them free in 2k13 unless they carry a bonus eh?

5. If I'm gonna be endorsing, then I should get paid for the endorsements.

All right, for general gameplay:

1. Let's make passing, Offensive and Defensive Awareness actually useful instead of padding my ratings ok? if you have a high passing rating, there's less chance of it being deflected by the AI unless that AI player has good stats in Defensive Awareness, Hands and Steal

2. Speaking of #1, THERE'S NO WAY IN REAL LIFE AN NBA PLAYER CAN TIP A PASS COMING FROM BEHIND HIM UNLESS HE HAS EYES ON HIS BACK.

3. Can we get rid of that turbo fast shuffle/defensive stance? It's like saying if Chris Paul beats Derek Fisher on the first step, grandpa Fisher can still catch up with fast shuffle. If you're not athletic enough, then there's the help defense

4. Can we please have the double-team come to help quickly when called? I hate holding down LB/L1 waiting an eternity for the double team

5. Fix the Pick and roll. It was working in 2k10-11 but opponents slide around in in 2k12. And while you're at it, fix the sliding issue.

All of u guy's ideas are FANTASTIC ..... So im just post what I want

PRESENTATION
There presentation is good but there is still room for improvement

1) During the Half-Time shows let us see some Highlights from different games (THIS IS A MUST FOR ME)

2) ADD TNT and NBA TV and keep the 2K broadcast

3) TNT:Thursday games- NBA TV: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday games- 2K: Wednesday and Friday games

4) Add RIVALRY montages examples: Celtics vs Lakers, Celtics vs Knicks, also up-incoming ones like Heat and Bulls(IMO) etc.....

5) ADD COMMERCIALS lol but I mean they have all these 2K videos like who's the best team in history etc...... because during time-outs u just sit there doing nuthing especially when ur doing good in the game nd dont need 2 adjust anything

GAMEPLAY
1) Make Double Teams more effective

2) Post Moves ... Everybody plays like Hakeem SMH

3) AWARENESS Off and DEF .. Make it MEAN something for once

4) Rebounding: PG'S AND SG'S are the main REBOUNDERS in the game that shouldn't happend unless it's Kidd, Rondo, Westbrook, CP3 etc.....

PLAYER/CROWD EMOTIONS/ANIMATIONS
I said this about every sports game I've played this year 2K12, WWE 12, MADDEN 12, AND NCAA 12

1) The crowds are in the game but not how they should be

2) Players don't have a CLUE on whats going on

3) Player SPECIFIC animations: EXAMPLES: Rondo lets the ball roll before going pass Half-Court, Lebron/Rose COVER the ball while driving the lane, etc......

4) EVERY player in the game runs and plays the SAME ways doesnt matter what u do

5) Have CHARISMA in the game so if trade for Lamar Odom after being in a slump He should bring some enjoyment and Character to the team and I'm a PISTONS fan soo I know .... we can really use excitement and character on the team

6) This probably isnt a huge one but some player JUMP off there left or right foot and some JUMP off both

Control over whether to layup or shoot from 15 feet: Its been in the game for a few years now- you want to shoot it, but your dude starts his slow jog layup to the rim and just gets blocked. We need control over this. Something. Anything. Maybe hold down L1 if we want to do this slow trot from the ft line, I don't know. We either need control over it, or just take it out unless we're on a fastbreak. It gets blocked way too much. It would honestly be better if it just wasn't in the game anymore.

I would love to be able to have an expansion team for association mode.
All 2k would need to do is add one or two cities per state to the game.
Then we should be able to choose from those and start our team.

Another thing I would like to see is an Association Mode that would start in the past. So, I would basically pick a year and a team (Lets say 1997 Celtics) and it would start at the 1997 draft with the actual draft class of '97. Then it plays out as a regular association mode for the next however many years, except from '97 to '12 the draft classes would be the same as real life.

give us the ability to turn off all of the presentation junk...i just want to play the game...i'm sick of waiting through all of these substitution screens, camera shots of the coach, league stat update overlays, upcoming game overlays, etc...i just want to skip all of that junk and PLAY THE ACTUAL GAME. i swear, sometimes i sit there an wait 30+ seconds just for all the presentation crap to play out, because they'll have a stat overlay, followed by the gatorade sub overlay, followed by various closeups of players....let us turn off all the presentation stuff in the options so we can hit a button and skip right to the gameplay. seriously - during a 30 minute game session, i probably spend 7+ minutes of it just mashing the x button to skip through all of this stuff. props to the presentation folks at 2k for their attention to detail, but i really would rather just skip it all and get back to actually playing the game ASAP.

and one thing that really annoys me is that when players get subbed in off the bench, you have to wait for them to walk all the way across the court before the ref will throw the ball in...let us hit a button to skip that too.

I'd like to see a more intelligent pick and roll, 2-man game. Sometimes a pick isn't even set yet the play is still effective because of the positioning of the players involved. Sometimes a pick is set but it doesn't even touch the defender yet the play is still effective. And players "pop" but really all they do is stand in the spot they set the pick and receive a pass for a jumper. I'd just like to see a more realistic pick and roll game in 2K13.

All I want is expansion team. Let us create the team like ncaa teambuilder. The only difference would be not allowing us to just pick the roster until the draft.

1. real shot releases ala 2k11, 2k8
2. more physical play in paint 2k11
3. make contesting shots matter because they dont in 2k12 especially online
3. Fix the skating on defense
4. Bring back on ball D ICON for online play
6. Sliders need to return for ALL game modes and online
7. Leagues and OA need to be option with Admins having REAL control over the league.
