i don't know if it had been mention but if had sorry for the double post. but any way i feel if nba2k came with the online association this year then they should add all star weekend with every event if possible ( the all star game could be played as a team up game , dunk contest up to 5-6 player, 3-point contest, rookie game,skill challenge,and maybe possible for Haier shoot out) i know there a WNBA player don't know if they can do that part. but try and add this into 2k13 before NBA live 13 try and steal it

Rose is not a bad 3pt shooter and all you need to do is just adjust their ratings.

I was mostly referring to online play. And even in real life he takes way too many 3's for someone who only shoots 32-33%. Yet when I play online there're people who can make any player look like Ray Allen. I understand that people like Rose, James Harden, Jamal Crawford, Jason Terry and JR Smith are extremely streaky, and can really get it going at times, but percentage-wise all of them are fairly mediocre 3-point shooters.

It may be true that those guys shoot lower percentages because of the amount of contested and pull-up 3-pointers they take, but in a video game, staying hot for one game is all the difference, so I still think they should tone it down somewhat.

More quick play options like they used to be... ability to post ANY player, tell ANY player to get open, etc.

More movement when plays are not called... screens, cuts, post ups, etc without me having to tell them to do so.

posting this in the wishlist thread as well:

I finally got my video camera up and running, so I recorded some video. This shows one of the more annoying things about 2k12 - how annoying is it when you have your defender positioned right in front of the ball handler, but the game just makes your defender slide left or right and the ball handler just slips past you when he should've collided with you?

In this video you see the lack of contact and realistic collision physics. I call this "slip n slide physics" - meaning a defender will be standing right in the path of the ball handler, but game will make the defender "slip" left or right...so the the 2 players will "slide" past one another rather than colliding - in these situations the physics behave as if the players are sheets of ice sliding past eachother. The players are like slippery cylinders with no friction.

My Player: Call for CPU teammates to shoot the ball

My Player: Ask to be subbed in/out

My Player: Call for isolation as ball-handler even if not in PG position (should be granted sparingly)

My Player: Assign secondary position manually (taller pure point guards shouldn't have to play SG, and taller ball-handling point forwards shouldn't have to play C and sometimes PF)

My Player: Allow Kevin Harlan to call first name (not just last name) in games.

My Player: Don't change FG% or FT% or AST in the top right corner until the ball actually goes in (or misses)

My Player: Allow player to be drafted anywhere from first to last or go undrafted, instead of the 10th-25th first round range.

My Player: Allow pre-season trades

My Player: Allow player to be traded against his will (rare, but it happens from time to time, e.g. neither Gerald Wallace nor Joel Przybilla wanted to be traded last season, and neither did Lamar Odom). Should happen extremely rarely in-game, though, and not if player expresses desire to play for same team for his entire career

Take player/team loyalty into consideration when assessing trades (e.g. the Bulls probably wouldn't give up Rose for anything, and neither would San Antonio with their Big 3, Blazers with Aldridge, OKC with Durant and Westbrook, Indiana with Granger, etc)

Get into half-court set plays faster

Make inbound alley-oops actually work. Yes, they're hard to execute in real life, but rarely attempted anyway

Select alley-oop recipient and make them run toward the basket, especially on fast breaks

Allow offensive fouls from shoving and elbowing

Allow off-ball fouls

More realistic rotations, instead of giving every active player at least 1 minute

Stop throwing passes into the backboard or rim

Make directional passing icons more visible to avoid accidentally passing to wrong player

Pass immediately upon pressing button, especially in post-up situations where player would finish post move first before passing, often resulting in a bad pass

Remove foul continuation situations where player gets fouled, takes 2 steps, shoots layup and it still counts

Reduce 3-point percentage for bad shooters that still take a lot of 3's (Tyreke Evans, Westbrook, John Wall, Rose, etc)

Foul continuation is a part of basketball, and that's why it's called continuation. It shouldn't be free throws only if you're being fouled as you're shooting the ball. I just feel that it's unfair that your players freeze when a blocking foul is called not giving you the ability to contest or alter the shot and you're left just standing there. But good suggestions nonetheless.

adjust ratings lol. anways you are corrrect. meadicore 3pt shooters shouldnt be brandon rush efficient. JR smith is one of worst 3pt shooters in league btw. he is shooting 20% from downtown for the season

Something that I've wanted for years is the ability to button through every intro screen when you start the game. Why do I have to see all the NBA teams logos for the hundredth time? Why do I have to sit through a Playstation Move 'don't hit people' tutorial screen when I don't even have Playstation move? We should be able to button straight to the first loading screen, and not have to press X to get through that 'don't turn off when saving' bubble during the load.

Its a little thing that will save about 40 seconds, but its a little thing that would go a long way. Regular 2k players turn the game on hundreds of times, and the quicker we get to the action the better. Damn, I really want this. Maybe I should start a petition or something.

haha...the intro thing is annoying...

but what about all the garbage you have to sit through DURING the games? like all the NBA Today league leaders, upcoming schedule, closeup camera shots of the coaches. Holy Mother, I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE DAMN GAME, 2K.

how many times has this happened to you? a foul is called: you get a bunch of worthless closeup of the players - mash x button to skip it. then it goes into an NBA Today stat overlay - mash x button to skip it. then there's a substitution and it cuts to a closeup of the players coming in - mash x button to skip it. THEN the Gatorade substitution screen pops up - mash x button to skip it.....HOLY MOTHER....i just spent 40 seconds mashing the x button to skip all this garbage - i want to play the game, not watch overlays and closeup camera shots.

Completely revamped dunks. Fresh, more accurate dunk animations, with MUCH more variety. 2K needs a LOT more one handed slams not to mention adding a truck load of poster/in your face jams. Plus re-work superstar dunk packages. Players Like MJ & Kemp had such amazing in game dunks, 2K seemed to really struggle getting anywhere close to representing these digitally.

It shouldn't be free throws only if you're being fouled as you're shooting the ball.

Isn't that the rule? Fouled in the act of shooting or something?

For 2k13 all I want is updated (or rehashed) D. After playing 2k11 all day I realized how fair the D was. If I played good d the CPU missed if I didn't they styled on me, none of this running around in circles til five seconds left and then walking past my D and scoring. I just want the game to be fair no gay rubberbanding, no shot clock cheese, none of that. If I'm playin well I want to be rewarded and not screwed by God-like AI. That's all i want.

Im wishing for online cross platform play with PS3 and PS Vita, also a similar deal like they have with MLB, buy both versions for $20 off

2) More Animated Buzzer Beater/Game Winner Animations (At least 5 different ones)

4) Skills Challenge

1. Slam Dunk Competition/ 3 point competition
2. Keep track of game winners
3. Player Loyalty D Rose wont leave the Bulls etc.
4. Option of how many key games you must play, it can take too long. There should be a short medium and long version.
5. Better front office management. Ricky Rubio, Kemba Walker, and my player (all pg's) should not be put on one team.
6. Chance to play for team USA
7. The publicity you get such as commercials, billboards, and shoes shouldnt stop after year 3.
8. Chance to resign whenever. Often times my player has had to take a lesser offer of not even get an offer even though hes ranked #1 in the game because the team has signed other players first.
