First then need more hairstyles in my player, MORE MORE, if you want the game to be more realistic then take the mohawk and other dumb haircuts out put in moving dreadlocks when moving down the court like kenneth faried, and add more fades. ADD MORE KICKS, all the players nowadays where icy shoes like the galaxy foamposites (delonte west) and all of the jordans look like cardboard haha , i wish the jordan 11's could have the last color palatte do something so i could make space jams without modding it or something. Now gameplay should be big for this year by making crossovers and hesatations actually be AFFECTIVE and help you drive the lane and maybe even result ina reach in foul. fix the fastbreaks and add 300 + animations, for the first couple months of the game it was great but now their getting old. In my player add an off the court experiance cause basketball is not just playing the game its also a lifestyle which means more advertisements and things that give your player more exposure. also its called MY player so you should have control of the players voice and overall style.

Some My Player fixes:

-Fix player getting stuck when trying to move off the ball. It's super unrealistic. Like running into a brick wall when you make any contact with a defender.

-There are way, way, way too many skill point achievements that are worth more than winning the NBA Finals and being Finals MVP. That is stupid. It's all about rings in real life, make it all about rings in the game.

-Player should get paid for endorsements.

-Fix the ridiculous shot-clock AI. The AI takes the shot clock down to the last 5 seconds way too often and sinks ridiculous shots as the clock is about to expire.

-Centers and power forwards should not be doing ridiculous finger rolls. They should try to take the ball up strong, like a real front court player. They try to avoid contact like a PG and scoop the ball too often.

I hate how playing on a higher level makes players do unrealistic things. In my player mode whenever we play against Blake Griffin or Rajon Rondo they always make all their free throws completely defeating the purpose of intentionally fouling them. Also whenever I sag off of Rondo because of his inability to shoot in real life he'll always hit the shot as the shot clock expires, whether it's from three point land or even with a hand in his face.

A suggestion I have for 2K13 is the integration of the shooting mechanics from NBA Elite 11. In Elite 11 if you shoot slightly to the left with too much power the ball will hit the left back iron so whether you miss or make it's completely on you. I don't like how if you shoot from the same exact spot 10 times in a row the chances of making the shot is random. This would make playing online much more realistic because to hit a contested or difficult shot you have to be able to time it which could reduce cheesing.

Small suggestion: make Blake Griffin's dunks higher and faster. He also needs some signature dunks only he can do instead of just the stock dunks he currently has.

Something I just realized I want to see in My Player mode after playing 2K12...

Less talk about stories of players and more generic chatter about what is happening around the league. Finding some way to factor in your Team Chemistry, League Popularity, and Local Fan Support into commentary would be awesome, and EXTREMELY easy. You wouldn't have to even say your player's name.

For example, after you blast your team for not producing in a post-game interview, the home crowd should boo you if you drop below a certain level of support and the commentators should pick up on this and have some sort of scripted comments like, "He's not very well received after the comments from last game." Anything scripted about your team, player, the league would add to the depth of any game mode. Factor the rumor mill in to commentary too.

Also, if you select a dunk or layup package, it would be fun to hear the commentators say, "That was vintage Jordan." or "He just took a page out of Blake Griffin's book."

And if they could factor in "scripted" cutaways of "vintage dunks/shots/plays" of "classic" games that would be rad. Two examples come to mind:

1. Utilize the hard drive to store highlights over your player's career that can be pulled up during the game mode as highlights of the last time two teams met or last year's finals appearance.

2. Have scripted cutaways (like the music video intros to key games) of MJ, Bird, Malone, Stockon, Russel, and any legends included in 2K13 where they would perform similar plays or be similar duos.

To wrap this up in a neat little package. STORYLINES. The depth of myplayer could be greatly extended with STORYLINES. Linsanity, The Decision, Miller-Knicks drama of the 90s, star player matchups (someone drafted the same year or the top 2 players of a position...Johnson/Jordan?)
So much longevity could be attained through proper and sensible placement of storylines.

Actually in 2K12 when my player was on the Bucks and my local fan support was at a 12 the fans would boo me every game and the commentators did in fact mention what I said in press conferences.

Since clutch factor doesn't seem to affect the shot clock buzzer beaters at all, I'd like to see shot clock sliders in the game. That would be great along with up-and-under sliders and team momentum sliders, which I mentioned in other posts. If you give the consumer more options, especially in a sports game, the happier the consumer will be. Its that simple.

Also, sliders need to be in every mode in the game. It shouldn't even be 'maybe we should do it' thing at this point for 2K. I've just played the game on PC and got sliders in My Player using some 'interesting' methods and it is literally 10x better.

Regarding 2KShare:

When an attempt to upload a roster fails due to inappropriate language, it would be a huge help if 2K could tell the user which words were deemed inappropriate so the roster could be adjusted and properly uploaded.

I have personally had a situation arise multiple times where I've poured hours into a roster, only to find I could not share with the community via 2KShare due to an "inappropriate" name I couldn't pinpoint. Sure, I might be able to change the "B.J." of B.J. Armstrong, the "Negro" of Vinny Del Negro, and the "Dickey" of Dickey Simpkins, but I'm not sure I would have ever been able to guess it'd be Alaa Abdelnaby tripping up the filter (forum poster portlandblazer was able to figure that one out).

Edit: I had 2K12 tell me one of my players had inappropriate language in their name before I was able to confirm the name change. So I guess in a way 2K12 already does flag language right away. The question now becomes, why is the name "Eric" being flagged as inappropriate? I was wondering why every Eric Murdock on 2KShare was spelled "Erick". Now I know.

Crew is a must. I would also like a way to play a season online with a friend against the CPU. Kinda like a co op campaign in a non sports title.

Add more reactions from players and coaches exclusively for the play-offs, I play association religiously and this year was a massive improvement but I would love to see some passion, like have your coach put his head in his hands or yell out in frustration after Durant just scored his 40th point that night, have players getting hype celebrating after a clutch shot or big play or a win and have that look of despair players share after losses and actually shake hands, i hate seeing one team celebrate wildly and the other act as if nothing happened. and make the TEAM celebrate after plays, all the players are on there own, they should be running towards each other. Have more crowd reactions, especially in the playoffs and after game winners, i love seeing crowds explode as one after game winners, in 2k they don't seem to change much. Have the crowd get on its feet late in games. And if possible have a close game feel late in games, ni every sport the intensity and atmosphere pick up. I would love to have cut scenes after big shots and a huge crowd reaction, hem going wild or dead ater plays, have shots of the player that hit the shot walking back to the timeout, not just going back as if nothing happened. I doubt this is a big deal to all of you and dosent change the game much but I would love to see some more reactions.

And keep playoffs stats and be able to save box scores from old games, i want to be able to remember my guys dropping 55 in finals or a 60 point regular season game. And be able to record the end of games, not just replays and i mean keep commentary, crowd and player noises for the last few minutes or whenever you choose to record so I can relive classic games without recording to my computor or anything.

I loved the coaching aspect I could do in 2k11 because defenses couldn't slide or go at a superspee, if they made a mistake they were punished. I would love to be able to edit plays, just subtle edits so cheesers couldn't abuse it, like have different guy come of a screen or someone cut so you can switch it up when the cpu has your number defensivley.

Add a trading block to association so you can put guys there and have the cpu make offers for them, it seems other teams can make players available, i think you should to.

In my player have them start at like a 65 or 70 and develop slowly. So after your first year you might go up 4-8 overall depending on your potential and have off season and training camp development so you go up every offseason.

And of course the obvious gameplay improvements like animations, sliding, on ball steals etc and bring back crew. But there will still be bugs and gameplay errors, actually have patches adress them this year

Another I would like to see is more replays, after a team calls a timeout you can see a shot or dunk from multiple angles and in slow more, add the backboard camera next to the rim that they have now

I would like to see a superstar or crazy shot attribute, lebron, kobe, wade durant etc, there are a lot of people that can hit spot up on balance shots better than them but they have the ability to hit amazing fadeaways and just ridiculous shots more than anyone else, and a range attribute would be nice, the 3pt rate should be how well they spot up a ft or two behind the line but range means guys like kobe durant, lebron and melo can hit up to 10 ft behind it, example, steve novaks 3pt shot would be way higher than lebrons but lebrons range would be higher so novack can spot up within 3-5 ft of the free throw line a lot better than lebron but after that lebron can hit from further out. And even a hot or feeling it type attribute, look at kobes many 60+ point games or lebrons 55 vs milwaukee when they can pull up from anywhere when they're hot, i would love to see them just pull up and hit 30 footers when theyre hot
