The music people like Jay-Z produce is loaded. The game is loaded and littered with hip hop. There are even segments of music videos and images of people like Jay-Z in concert. Why do people have to see concerts when they want basketball? Not every NBA fan is a hip hop fan.

well put. and btw, I'm a huge hip-hop fan, more so than most on here I imagine... but with that said.. it's still way overdone. only a hardcore fanboy can deny this.

Just had a triple-double with Rondo (11 pts, 11 reb, 17 ast). I love how top players play like they're the best players. In the several games I've played as the Sixers, Blazers, Wizards, and Celtics, I had big games with Bynum, Aldridge/Lillard, Nene, and Rondo/Pierce/Bass.

As far as the GAME. The only thing I absolutely dislike is the passing & how they bobble routine catches.

Played with the Kings against Pacers. Had 3 great quarters and was leading by 10 at the start of 4th. Then Granger just all of a sudden took matter in his own hands. Every possession they just fed it to him. He scored 15 points in the 4th quarter and got Evans in foul trouble with 5. Absolutely no solution for him and I lost the game by 5.

Never had a superstar in the game just lit it up on me like this before 2k13. (Not even Kobe or Lebron. I used to be able to make enough defensive adjustment to stop their hot streak.)

I love this game.

As frustrating as I am with online I cant stop playing...What adjustments do you guys make on defense because mine are clearly not working.

Funny that I'm complaining like crazy but so far I'm 6-3. It's just frustrating when you have people just cheesing their butts off to try to win and you are just moving the ball around and trying to get open shots.

I'm sorry I just had to make this post...for everyone complaining about the intro presentation and that it should be more TNT like...well over the last few years this has been TNT intros...So I would say 2K is kinda spot on some of us need to catch up with the times lol[now gold overlays thats a different story lol]

I cant speak for everyone but when I complain about presentation it more has to do with overlays and the swipe on replays. The way 2k has it set up is perfect its just what they put. I don't like the gold or the dunk meter or big swipe that comes up after a highlight(big gold thing with the mic in the middle)

Hands down the best basketball game I ever played. Player speed is spot on. The emotion oozes out of the game with player interactions etc. Signature skills take it to another level. The pick and roll is back baby!!!!

I have 2 gripes. The offensive rebounding by the cpu needs work. I just played a game where I was Portland against Dallas. Dallas had 11 offensive rebounds to my one. I tried boxing out but men just jump out of nowhere to sky for rebounds that I think I should have. Another minor gripe is the way blocks are handled. I have not played with an eraser but some of the layups etc. should be blocked. I will test this out somemore. Could be other factors that determine the factor of blocks. Other than that, I am in basketball heaven. Good job VC.

if 10 is perfect...

you gotta take at least 1 pt off for graphics. very lackluster. this is 2012, almost 2013... you would think it was 2009 by watching a game of 2k13 (unless you zoomed in)

the ghetto looking presentation + Jay-Z basically raping your eyes/ears is another .5 off.

gameplay is pretty great though overall.

I just saw in the edit player screen they added an option where the player can be one to bring the ball up to initiate offense. That. is. awesome.

I played a few more games before it had to be back. On court it might just be better than 2K11. Love the self alleyoop dunks.

Forgot to mention during an association game the schedule overlay came up and the opposing AI inbounded the ball while it was still up.

I do miss the classic games,can throw in some modern classics at least?
