Re: CPU Timeout problem, reason inside
I dont know good questionOriginally posted by BeanTownBrawlerI got an idea. Make a game shark code that will change the computer coaching settings. That would fix it for franchise and give you the ability to unlock stuff for your profile (if you have a gameshark). Can this be done?Favorite Teams: Orlando Magic, Philadelphia Eagles

Re: CPU Timeout problem, reason inside
It's important to call TO's for BOTH teams stamina etc.Originally posted by Eurodawg"Actually, because the biorythm works so well this year, TO's are more crucial than ever. Guys who get hot, REALLY get hot. (just like the NBA) You need TO's to cool them down."
Well the CPU can't cool down your players. So it's not fair for you to cool the CPU players down.
"I am sure it will be fixed for other releases..."
Well too bad because I have the Canada version (running on a US ps2), which is exactly the same thing as the US version 'cept for a second booklet in french that went to the trash as soon as I opened my package.
Ie, the cpu doesn't call any...so it's important you do.
This problem will be fixed with time, I am sure

Re: CPU Timeout problem, reason inside
I'm thinking Dean Smith played a part in designing this game (for he rarely called timeouts).
I know you've been sworn in and I have read your complaint(s). Try this one thing and see if it helps:
To Disable AI 1P Control and switch to COM in Franchise:
When you get to the controller screen (1P vs COM) just before loading the game in ? remove the memory card, try switching to COM team, change time out settings for COM, switch back to your team, and then replace memory card just before the tip. Perhaps you can override the controller by removing the memory card for the COM switch.
If that doesn't work for sim fans, it might be best to time the AI team and see how long it takes to bring the ball up the court from 94 feet to 3pt range (23'9" line to 30 feet max in pixels) and 2pt range (reasonable time). As a preliminary step, I would say 10 seconds for the AI to execute if 0-3 pts BEHIND. If tied or ahead, play normal game.
And yes this bug is CheeseWiz. Amen. But it can be arrested by the human w/careful planning to invoke the ultimate in realistic simulation. Amen? Amen.Comment
