In a nutshell - we as consumers just keep buying the game, so they keep just adding fluff because they think we like it. I mean, who here REALLY can't do without 24/7. They probably take more time in those damn street courts than they do focusing on how real basketball should be played. So in essence, the minigame is nearly perfect, while the REAL NBA game we purchased has obvious flaws. I think this is why the bug causes such an uproar, because it's obvious - and it's major. The game isn't well enough done for the computer to use smart AI and CALL A TIMEOUT, but good Lord, we've got 24/7 mode!

I have been wondering to myself how they missed this bug...And I think has to be they only played at default settings of 5 mins or something....

Unless they are completely incompetent...which I doubt...then there's simply NO WAY they could NOT notice TO's weren't working.
I'm guessing it was noticed...but that the disks were already 'pressed' with the to's on manual. ie, the disks were ready to go to the shops.
Due to the rush to get it out...someone there must have decided "go through with it and send the copies" KNOWING the bug was there.
That simple.
Unless we are all stupidly ignorant and honestly believe 67 QA people and a team of basketball programmers...who play TONNES of games...didn't notice the CPU called no TO's.
That's *extremely* unlikely.
Due to the need to "get it on the shelves"...the game went out anyway.
I can understand the motives ther...but it is pretty poor treatment of your "buying public".
I've been hoping they fix it as I think...long term...VC will take a major hit for treating their consumers like this. Ie, "bottom line" came a longgggggg way before "customer needs"...Comment

Do you guys have Penalty sliders at full because I had 5 in one game before, 3 against the computer [they had 2 in a row], and 2 against me...Originally posted by jayjacksonI've seen them both in offline and online play.
