Thank you for clarifying that. I will fire them up and try a game in a bit. Looking forward to it. No clue how it could get any better than what it already is though. I just looked at his thread about his rosters, didn't realize he was an operation sports member. My bad.

Didn't think I'd be the only one to notice this. I saw some players using a high screen, some curling around a screen to the basket. Looked very nice and fluid.

Sorry for big picture but this is the best half i played since i have this game.Balanced and realistic gameplay even the cpu(M.Ellis) was crazy from outside.Ellis scored 26 in the half.I had just one block and i played no switch defense and it really works.I was looking so long for some great sliders and i think i found them...

Great video Ryan, perfect. For someone that hadn't used their editing equipment yet, you did a great job and could've fooled me that you'd never had a chance to use it. What you did would've taken me 3 months to do I'm guessing. Haha.

You pointed out everything that's great about your slider set and provided great examples. I truly hope people take the time to watch it.

I haven't played against Lebron yet, but after watching him take over in the 1st quarter alone, I'm thinking I have to do that

Again, thank you for the slider set, thank you for making this video, and thank you for getting me re-addicted to this game.

I don't think, as far as critiques, you could have done it any better or differently. I'm very impressed, sir. My favorite thing about your video, and this shows just how great the sliders are, is it only took you ONE GAME to point all those things out. Basically proving that those are things that you're going to see every game.

Also, curiosity here. How many points did Lebron finish with? And were you able to come back and win? It's cool to see the Cavs with their deeper roster get out to such a big early lead.

Man i must really suck at this game. I've played 3 games with these sliders and each time i keep missing wide open jumpers. I'm using tha lakers and tha only way i can score is getting fouled in tha paint and making my free throws. I use tha shot stick and hold down then release. I know i can up my shooting sliders but i want to figure out what i'm doing wrong with these. I want to have competitive games like others are having on here with these.

Can u guys please give me some advice on what might help my jump shots? Also i can not dunk tha ball at all. Even on fastbreaks all i get is a lay up or finger roll.

                  Thanks in advance.

Bron finished with 24 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds in only 30 minutes. He pretty much sat the entire fourth quarter as I was getting blown out. Ended up losing by 23 or so points.

For jumpshots, time the release of the button/stick with the flick of your player's wrist.

Dunks are done by holding the R Trigger and moving the R Stick in any direction. You should be getting them as long as you're using the right players and have a decent opening to do them. With these sliders it's much harder to dunk in traffic, which is how it should be.

As far as jumpshots go. And I know this applies to a few other people besides me. Unless it's a layup, runner, teardrop, floater, reverse layup, or any sort of dunk. I use the square button for shots. Anytime I take a 3 pointer or come off a screen with a guy like Ray Allen or Rip Hamilton, I always use square. For me, I just shoot much better using that button. Aside from that, post shots or any of the aforementioned shots, i use the shot stick.

If none of that is your problem, it might be just a matter of where you're shooting from and with who. A lot of this game is based on how well you know the real world players. For instance, Kobe is a very average 3 point shooter, and doesn't usually shoot them from the corners. Bynum can't hit consistently past 10 feet. Odom is not a great 3 point shooter either, and Artest is average at best, and his mid range game is not as good as his 3 point game.

So a lot of it is just knowing who you've got and where they're good shooting from. If you think this is your problem. Go into my nba > manage rosters > Lakers > click either L3 or R3 (ps3, can't remember if it's L3 or R3) to bring up numbers instead of letters (for their ratings in each category). Sometimes it won't let you see them, like if you're in association mode. So if that's the case, do the aforementioned steps, except click on a player and go to "edit player". Then click over a few times until you see attributes and take a look at that players ratings. Once you're done, just hit circle to cancel out of it, and go to the next player.

That way you know where to shoot from to be most effective with each player. Knowing this makes a world of difference and should help you out quite a bit.

If none of this is your problem, let me know. And I'll try to think of some other stuff that could be preventing you from nailing your jumpers.

Hopefully though, between BlueNGold and myself, something will have helped you out.

THANKS A LOT for tha tips. yea i strictly use tha right stick for all my shooting. i'll try to do what blue said 1st, and if that doesn't help i'll try using tha button.(since i'm so used to tha right stick)

also i didn't know thas how u see their number ratings instead of that letter grade. i'm sure that will help a lot.

also even though i'm getting my butt handed to me tha sliders feel very realistic. i'm sure once i get tha shooting down it will be that much more fun.

thanks again for tha sliders and tha advice!

I bought this game in hopes to hold me off of killing myself due to the sports game jones that always sets in before the fall months and I'm really hoping this slider set saves it for me. If I do one slider set, I win by 30 and have ridiculous results for simulated games. If I do another, I can't win because the CPU doesn't miss, but the simulated games are spot on. RSpencer86...are you prepared to save a young man's life? Haha

                              Wow. What. A. Game.

By far the longest, craziest, most intense, most competitive game I have ever had in ANY sports game. My heart rate went up, I'm all but certain I would have been sweating had the A/C not be on max.

I just had my first overtime game ever, for one.

The game was just insane. I used the Celtics (I had lost using them against the Heat, so I wanted to win as them) and went against the Dallas Mavericks.

The game was insanely close start to finish. I went up 20-13 after the 1st quarter, and stretched that lead to 8 going into halftime, though at one point in the 2nd they had gone up by 4, and I had to call a timeout as they had gone on a 16-6 run at one point. Before the 4th quarter began, I outscored them by 2 in the 3rd period, to extend my lead to 10 overall, though once again, they had taken the lead a couple different times in the 3rd period.

In the 4th period, they outscored me 26-16 and tied it up. The last 3 minutes of this game were just insane. Clutch shots after clutch shots. The Mavs forced a couple of turnovers, but I felt as though it was irrelevant because I was up by 5 with 25 seconds remaining. I fouled Kidd after he split the D and no one rotated, fortunately, he missed the foul shot giving me a 3 point lead with about 19 seconds to go. They didn't intentionally foul, so I held onto the ball as long as I could, they double teamed Pierce and I tried to throw it out, only to have it bounce off Rondos foot right into the waiting hands of Dirk Nowitzki. He took a 3 with 7 seconds left that bounced off. Someone Shawn Marion snaked in there to grab the offensive board, kick it out to Caron Butler, who hit the game tying 3 with 1.6 seconds left on the clock. I had no timeouts and my desperation half court shot missed badly.

I got out to a 6 point lead early in overtime, only to have them tie it up again. Then the play of the game happened. Rondo had scored the first 3 baskets of the overtime for my team. I called motion pick and pop with him and Garnett. The defense adjusted heavily. I threw it to Garnett just as the double team got there and he had an open look...for a half a second. Haywood was already on his way over so I had to throw the ball to the guy in the corner. Ray Ray. He nailed the wide open 3. Dallas got within 2, a couple different times. But they had to intentionally foul ray, who made 2 free throws to stretch the lead to 6. J. Terry hit a clutch 3 with 6 seconds to get the score to 97-94, Celtics. I inbounded the ball to Ray, knowing they would intentionally foul. I was able to evade a few defenders with him to avoid the intentional foul and hang onto the win.

One of the highlights of the game was Dallas missing a 3 in overtime when they were down by 5, getting an offensive rebound, Shawn Marion missing a 3, Dirk getting a rebound and kicking it to Butler, who hit another clutch three. That last sequence of offensive rebounds followed by desperate 3 point attempts was so lifelike, it was amazing.

Here are the stats from the game.

Quick question - I know Spencer is a PS3 man but will these work for the 360? I don't see why they wouldn't but some things I've seen suggest that the PS3 runs better with a lower game speed while 360 doesn't necessarily have that problem.
