Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
Alright thanks! Running through editing coach profiles right now. I like that you understood the difference between offensive tempo and fast break. While the game has two different sliders for this, they seemed to have forgotten the difference when programming them haha
Excessive fouls could be because of style of play, am I right?Originally posted by TDTGodfatherbut it's a video game, so it's not destroying my world or anything...Comment

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
Flat out, I don't see those as excessive at all. There have been games in the NBA where 40 free throws have been attempted, and it's not that rare. I'd say 20-30 is actually pretty realistic. Fouls are called a lot more in real life than they are in the game, I believe since Ryan was going for realism, this was included deliberately.Comment

There you go. Thanks for clarifying that Ryan. Hey what's your ps3 handle bro? I almost forgot to ask. I've never played 2K10 online before, but I'm thinking it'd be pretty fun to play against another sim style player.Comment

Hey man I'm going to have to try these out tomorrow. This game has been on the shelf for me for quite a long time in favor of some fps games and the show but I think these will bring it back out. I liked your work on choops and the show and the feedback in here is amazing. My latest project - Madden 12 http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2043231648Comment

And I'm still losing because the CPU is shooting lights out. 38-31 after the first quarter. I'm Chicago and I'm playing against the Suns.Originally posted by TDTGodfatherbut it's a video game, so it's not destroying my world or anything...Comment

Yeah I like to attack the basket. I was down 38-31 at the end of the first quarter. Suns shot 68 percent from the field while I shot 46 percent.Originally posted by TDTGodfatherbut it's a video game, so it's not destroying my world or anything...Comment

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
Right now the Kings are shooting 75% with like 2 minutes left in the first quarter. 75% from 3-point range too. Casspi and Evans just make everything. My numbers are right where they should be I think. 46% isn't ridiculously high, but isn't so low that it's stupid either.Originally posted by TDTGodfatherbut it's a video game, so it's not destroying my world or anything...Comment

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
I just had my first "blowout" game. I beat the Spurs, using the Nuggets, 95-71. Carmelo went nuts, 47 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. It's absurdly hard to take over a game with one player using these sliders but the dude was just on. Of course he's one of the best mid range jump shooters in the game, and with these sliders, finally getting space makes it so rewarding to have guys come off screens and set up plays. The Spurs hung in there for quite awhile, at one point closing the gap to 4 midway through the 3rd quarter, before I outscored them by 2 in the third, and then 11 in the 4th. Never felt like they were going to give up without a fight and it never felt as though it was a cake walk. Melo was just spot on with everything.
Melo went 17-26, 2/2 from three point land, and was 11/13 on his free throws. Melo had 47, the team as a whole had 48. Haha. Crazy. Haven't had an individual performance like this in a long time.Comment

First game playing 10 minute quarters. It turned out to be another close one with Allen Iverson hitting a 3 as time expired to send the game into OT. Michael Redd finally woke up in OT and led the Bucks to a close 2 point win.
Final score: Bucks 116 76ers 114 (OT)
BUCKS/76ERS Stats
FG: 44/88 | 40/83
FG%: 50/48
3 PT: 7/21 | 6/13
3 PT%: 33/46
FT: 21/24 | 28/36
FT%: 87/77
AST: 24/23
TO: 12/17
FOULS: 21/18
TTL REB: 34/46
OFF REB: 3/8
STL: 8/7
BLK: 5/3
PIP: 58/50
BENCH: 15/26
2ND CHANCE: 3/14
FAST BREAK: 8/10
10 minute quarters seem to be perfect for me. These sliders rock.Comment
