Really good to see Benniator. I was certainly pulling for you, especially from your last post and how much I can relate to it. Sounds like a fun game you had. I just had my first overtime game last night as well where C. Butler hit a game tying three to send it into OT for the Mavs. I ended up winning 97-94 but all I could think was "wow, if I start an association, and every game goes like this, I don't think I have a reason to play any other games til 2k11 comes out" haha.

Ok i'm getting a lil better at setting up my shots and shooting can u guys suggest some offensive plays that might work good with tha lakers? Also i'm doing tha no switch rule on defense but i can not stop tha cpu from scoring. No matter who i play against they score at least 35+ in tha 1st quarter. Can u guys tell me how u play defense and stop the cpu from shooting lights out?

      Thanks for tha help!

So I finally started an association with these after 10 solid games. I decided to play as a team I'd never used in association mode and went with the 76ers since they have a solid starting 5, and a deep bench. I grabbed OJ Mayo via trade, and re-signed Allen Iverson, that way, should we win a title, he'll finally have one. I feel bad for the little guy.

First game was against the Magic, And I was up after the first, 30-12. So I'm sitting there going oh #^#^, these aren't working in association, noooooo. Anyway, somehow, they chipped the lead away all game long. And went up 74-73 with 2 minutes in the 4th, their first lead of the entire game. I called a timeout, gained some composure and promptly bricked my next shot. Fortunately, I was able to steal the ball with Speights, and he dunked it, giving me a 75-74 lead. They missed on their next shot, over committed to Elton Brand, and I kicked it out to Iguadola who nailed a 3 pointer, 78-73. They grabbed 3 offensive rebounds off 3, 3 point misses, and the 4th one, shot by Pietrus went in, 78-77. With time winding down on the shot clock and 30 seconds left in the game, OJ Mayo came off a screen very well, and as much as I wanted to drive and try to draw contact, I shot the ball...and nailed it. 81-77. They had to intentionally foul and I won 84-77.

Great, great game. Very happy that I lost a 20 point lead and the cpu didn't give up. Howard had 22 and 16. Snagged a ton of offensive boards. Jameer Nelson penetrated and kicked it out, and they were aggressive and got 28 free throws.

I'm amazed that in my last 10 games using your sliders, Ryan. 3 of those 10 have already been in my "all time top 3" best games against the CPU I've ever had in ANY game.

FYI, I spent a few hours last night revisiting coaching tendencies. Basically I'm taking in-depth tendency info (jumpshot/close/dunk percentages from 82games.com) and translating that into the coaching sliders. Playing my final game of the season in my Bulls association now against the Bobcats and they seem to be working very well. I might post an update for the coaching tendencies tonight, if not it will probably be mid-week since I'll be gone for the next couple of days.

I got blown out by the Warriors with the Rockets 133-113 in a pre-season game. High scoring game but they don't play defence and I didn't.

I was wondering if there was a way to increase the player speed to 60 in exhibition mode as it seems it can only be done in the association.

                These sliders are great

No, for some reason player speed is only adjustable in Association mode.

You have to press Triangle (or whatever the equivalent is on PC) in the matchup screen (where you select uniforms and stuff). Then you'll see it on the next screen that pops up.

I am using ffaacc03's rosters as recommended by Rspencer. I have not had a chance to add his coaching profiles in yet, though I have been meaning to do that.

The best thing about this past game against the Magic was that they were undoubtedly the more talented team, and are very capable with their 3 point shooting, of keeping themselves in any game and coming back. So that in and of itself was great to see. Speaking bluntly, with how dumb the AI has been in any other slider set I've tried to put together myself or default or whatever, I don't think the cpu had ever come back on me from more than 8 down. I could guarantee that had I gone up 30-12 on any other team with any other sliders, I would have won the game by 30+, easily, more likely 50 points.

Probably one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite thing about this slider set is the fact that, the cpu just never feels cheap. When the Magic stormed back, it wasn't like I was missing layups and they were converting all their shots, they just played more aggressively, used a full court press, swung the ball better, and I got caught up in it, got a bit demoralized by my teams surprising lack of defense after we had played so well for the first 1 1/2 quarters. Didn't feel like there was any stupid comeback logic (a la Madden). It felt like the Magic earned it. Had they won that game, that would have undoubtedly been the most heartbreaking loss I'd ever experienced in a video game, and I'm glad I was able to pull it off and come away with the W.

ffaacc03's rosters are really good, this is the 4th game I have used them and was a bit baffled at some of the ratings, but you just gotta not pay attention to the players overalls. For instance, Chris Paul is rated higher than Kobe, Greg Oden is the 2nd highest rated player on the TrailBlazers, etc. But whatever he's done with them, it makes for a great game and works seamlessly with RSpencers sliders.

Maybe someone that has both ps3 and 360 will see this and upload them or something. I'm not sure if that's even possible. But hopefully it is because these rosters are pretty great. However, I was getting along perfectly fine with JUST these sliders, and the default "nba today" or whatever, rosters. So these should still work great with or without those.

                                Hope that helps.
