If you guys are interested, in my latest roster file (2K Share - offseason v5.5 - July 10) I added all of rspencer86's coaching edits for all teams into it (and all subsequent files I add later). It also contains all of Rashidi's ratings edits from his last file for the 2010 season (I believe it was June 7th, but don't quote me on the date).

Inside Shooting: 30
Close Shooting: 35
Midrange: 41
3point: 45
shooting about 55% a game.
Perhaps I should just go lower.Last edited by JordanC; 07-11-2010, 01:09 AM.Comment

I don't know what to tell you, man. I might try to play a quarter with these settings tomorrow and see if I shoot above 25%, lol.Ryan Spencer

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
Are these rspencer coach profiles better than the default ones? I want to start an association for the 09-10 season. I was wondering if these coach profiles would be better than the default ones. Would using these Spencer coach profiles with the rspencer game sliders make my association very challenging (which I want) and the tactics of the other team more realistic?Comment

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
If I remember correctly, Ryan (RSpencer) said that he was going to re-do them with some stats he'd found on NBA.com or some website that tracks statistics to get them perfect. Right now there's a lot of them that if you're changing them manually, haven't moved at all. You only end up adjusting about 5 or 6 different ones, inside shots always goes to 0, and the tempo/fast break/crash boards usually end up getting changed. If memory serves me correctly I never saw double team any differently, and some others.
However, it does help. He changed the Warriors (recalling from memory so I could be wrong) offensive tempo 100, defensive pressure to 100, help defense to 5, and fast break to 100. So it feels very realistic playing against them as opposed to default.
I'm looking forward to his true to life stat based coaching tendencies. This guy clearly has an eye for realism so as happy as I am with the game right now, knowing Ryan a bit, he could probably make it even better. Hurry up Ryan!Comment

The big thing they should help is getting teams with dominant big men (Orlando, for example) to run their offense through them more. Right now, all the mid-range tendencies are around 75, since I guess the base I was working from did that to try to encourage more CPU jumpers. But my sliders give the CPU a little more breathing room to work with, so now they are taking too many jumpers with guys that shouldn't be shooting as often.Ryan Spencer

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
I'm just gonna stick with your default sliders, spence, maybe just move inside scoring down a little.
Even if my percentages are a little high, the games are still consistent and competitive and that's all I was looking for from the start.
Cheers.Comment

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
I used your sliders except I had 5 minute periods (the longer periods are too time consuming for my taste) and played as the heat. I had T. Hardaway, Wade, James, Bosh, and Mourning in the starting lineup and played the Magic with their regular lineup except they had Shaq from the 80's team. Driving to the hoop is my gamestyle cause it has always been so easy lol and it was still a little too easy for me to drive and score with a layup or dunk with these sliders. Wade went 16/16 from the field and had 37 points in a 65-54 win, lol. Is there any way to make it so that i can't get to the basket so easily?
And by the way, I didn't have an easy of a time when driving with lebron. Maybe Wade is just a little too fast..Last edited by matrix82; 07-11-2010, 10:18 PM.Comment

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
I get some pretty awesome results from these sliders when I make both human an cpu shooting sliders the same. When I have them a little bit higher, they always shoot a little bit better. Usually around 54%, but sometimes as high as 61%. But when I make them both the same it seems pretty fair and realistic with teams shooting in mid to high 40's and wins and losses comedown to which team is better, turnovers, and defense.Comment

Re: rspencer86's 2K10 Sliders and Settings
I put these on here for him. Rspencer, I hope this is cool with you... I figured I just loaded these up and loved them so much I'd share it out for the guys on the forum. If you have a problem with this I'll try to take them down off 2kshare.
Here is how to find the game sliders guys.
Go on 2kshare and search by either:
2kshare info:

Rspencer, if you want to edit the original post of your thread to let people know these are available, go right ahead.
Thanks for showing us these sliders man, you saved the game for me.Comment
