Thanks jluce, appreciate the help. I'll edit the O.P. to let people know how to find these on 2K Share.

Spenser, I watch the video of your sliders in action... Looked interesting. Have you ever thought about doing some cpu vs cpu sliders? Would they be any different?

I did try these sliders and unfortunately I did not have much luck. I was the Celtics and I was playing the sixers. The sixers shot 12 /13 from the field which equals a 93% shooting percentage. I think the score was like 23-5 in the first quarter. Maybe my sliders were wrong or my defense was just poor but that seemed a little high to me. I will double check my sliders when I get home

No, there are a couple guys who already do a fantastic job with rosters so I just use their great work.

The only time I run CPU vs. CPU is the All-Star game in my Association, so I've never really messed around with it.

Not to say this is what is happening to you but I can tell you these sliders are only good for advanced players. People that get how the NBA works and basketball in general.

For example you really need to defend hardcore or use the strategy rspencer suggested when playing these sliders to stop the opposition. They will make open shots if you don't get up on them.

These sliders saved the game for me in that I was constantly destroying the CPU until the playoffs started, then the CPU played a little better for the first few rounds of the playoffs, until I began to dismantle teams in the conference finals and the nba championship game, so it was weird.

But these sliders have been great, I'm .500 with a new look Cavs team in which I traded for anthony morrow, jason thompson, and randy foye. I acted as though I'm the Cavs GM and completely blew up the team after bron's departure.

My favorite part about these sliders is the games are truly unpredictable now. I've gone from blowing out the Celtics to getting completely destroyed by the crappy Raptors. I've also had 19 point leads that I blew a few times just to hold on to 2 point wins. So much fun that the game is never over. Rspencer has devised a set of sliders that much like the NBA produce what Dickie V coined as the phrase "sprurtability", meaning teams constantly go on runs back in forth, much like the real nba.

I love that when I have an open jumper I don't know if it will go in or not, much like real life. These sliders are ridiculously good.

The only gripe you could have is about how easy the CPU steals the ball from you when you pump fake... I solved that problem easily by pump faking less, considering I was doing it too much and the CPU caught on. You can also turn the CPU steal success down to like 88 instead of 100. But I really can't complain...the sliders are amazing...

Rspencer you are like a chemist my friend. haha.

I have to laugh when I read other's saying "I just want to lose man." I know what you all mean, we all want unpredictable outcomes and these sliders are doing just that.

I also suggest everyone sticking to pro and not upping it to superstar as the speed of the CPU is better this way and still remains a challenge.

And FYI: I'm also using ffaacc03's 7.2 roster, which you can get on 2kshare - playassation

Where's that hand clap smiley face? Haha. Brilliant post, I quite literally agree with everything you said. Naturally you've seen a few of my posts on this thread and know we're in the same boat with the I just want to lose, mentality. I'm glad to hear that someone else, just like me, it sounds. Had so much success with these. RSpencer deserves some form of "sliders of the year" tribute. I should get his home address and send him a bag of cheetos or something with all of our signatures on it. That can be his trophy.

As far as the guy two posts above that was getting beat 25-6 or whatever it was. The entire point of these sliders, quite simply, is to recreate the NBA experience. If you only scored 6 points, you need to look at how you were getting your points to begin with. Driving the lane at will, iso motioning non stop, contested shots, etc etc. Will NOT work with these, ever. You absolutely need to run plays, pay attention to whoever has the best shot. Not pick who is going to score before you pick the play. For instance if you're doing a triangle 2 iso with LeBron, the play calls for him to score, but if he's shut down, you gotta find the open man. Defensively, I will let you know that if you leave double teams at "auto" and pressure at "auto". Your teammates blow an absurd amount of assignments and are caught out of position very frequently.

If you had tried these sliders, but were not having a problem losing before. I would go back to whatever you were using to begin with and work up to these. Myself, I've been playing 2k games since Dreamcast. So at this point I could have a Ph.D in 2k sports. If you've only started playing this game recently, these definitely aren't for you.

Also, don't take any of this as a bad thing. I don't think I'm alone when I say I really wish the CPU would have been beating me all along. My frustration with this game severely outweighs my frustration with any other game I've ever played. RSpencer's sliders fixed that completely. Had I been losing as much as winning, had close games, competitive games, fun games. I would have never needed these. So if you're having fun on default sliders or someone else's and already losing. Then these probably are not for you. Don't take this as an attack or a negative post, I assure you it is not.

Can we post how we edited these sliders here cuz it would seem kinda wrong to pass off ur own set of sliders when their heavily influenced by someone else...
We all have our own play style so its only natural to edit them
                        Forget Kobe & LeBron!

Thanks for the advice guys. I played again and did much better. I ran plays, made better passes etc. The shooting percentage was much better as well. The computer shot around 48%. I ended up winning by 6 points.

Just played a nice game with these...only complaint is I missed 3 WIDE open lay-ups(2 with Jonny Flynn and 1 with Wesley Johnson) all 3 were fastbreaks with the nearest defender at about the 3 point line.
