Thanks for the advice guys. I played again and did much better. I ran plays, made better passes etc. The shooting percentage was much better as well. The computer shot around 48%. I ended up winning by 6 points.

EnSoul - I'm really glad you were able to look at our posts objectively and take responsibility for your play style. Most are content blaming the sliders, the game, the pope, etc. I say bravo to you for doing that. I'm really glad your last game went much better for you and you were able to hang on for a 6 point win. Now that you have a better feel for these, it makes the games pretty damn intense huh?

Why should trade override be on?

Doesn't it mean I can trade for any player I want?

Like I could trade Al Jefferson for Wade?

Can someone please reply because I am really not sure why it is on.

I have it on because I can evaluate whether or not a trade is fair. Plus it allows me to have some flexibility on moving guys around to teams as I see fit. I don't make unfair trades because building a ridiculous team of superstars and going 78-4 isn't my idea of fun.

If you read the O.P. I talk about how I play my franchises. I create my own story lines and do all player movement for myself. For example, I had Joe Johnson join LeBron, who stayed in Cleveland. Actually, a lot of the moves I made in my offseason actually came to fruition in real life. I put Bosh in Miami, Amare in NY and Boozer in Chicago all before the real FA period. Pretty freaky, eh?

If you don't want to play like that, then just turn trade override off.

Hey Spence,

Great sliders and settings. Do you know why I wouldn't be able to add players to the trading block for my team? The only team it's allowing me to edit trading block players for is Philly.

If you're doing 30-team control, you have to go into the calendar view and switch to the team you want to fiddle with the trade block with.

If you guys are looking for solid rosters, I have uploaded a new file on 2K Share:

**mkharsh33...offseason v9.0...7-16-10** (for the 360)

Includes Rashidi's ratings edits from his final 2010 roster...rspencer86's coaching edits...and a TON of stuff that I just added today (see my thread here) including more rookie edits, jersey edits, signature shots, etc. I have also added a number of rookies (for depth purposes) who are playing on Summer League teams and have a legitimate shot to make the ballclub (including Jeremy Lin of the Mavericks). All teams are 100% accurate for trades and free agency (with a few RFA's left on their teams - again, mostly for depth purposes related to the 12-man minimum limit).

I only added this here because I have put all of rspencer86's coaching profile edits into the roster file which means you don't have to!

Thanks. Messed around a little after I put up the note and saw that if I changed the team on the coaching options (lineup and playbook) it did the same. Only thing now is, I figured on Jan 1 I'd let CPU trades go for a week. I wanted to do one wk in Jan and 1 wk in Feb. And I've got trade override on. But as soon as I allowed CPU trades, they all went through without asking. Do I have to change another option so that they ask me for the other teams?

I hate the 82 game season so I play the 56 game season..The season used to feel to drawn out and stuff. With these sliders Im getting excellent games. Love them, especially with my edits, great base! Here's my set so if anybody has had the same problems as me just try out my edits.

btw the Coaching Sliders and User/CPU are the same as Ryan's. They are BEAST!

Ok so i did all the team coach profile settings one by one in the options menu of the main menu and then i loaded up an association by accident and went back to the main menu and they were reseted.
i saved settings and sliders when i was finished thinking they would be saved but i was wrong.
Can i save these coach profiles when i re do them?and to where? Thanks

The Coach Sliders save as Rosters bro. So make sure it says "Saving Roster" before u do anything extra
