Yet my LU is nowaverage at best now due to SO MANY users having full AS LU. So I disagree with your comment. IMHO kinda everyone could have used the sale.
thinking about season broken... your Ben/Pierce/Carter/Leonard were very nice in LU. in season you have 4/15 goodies, but when facing people with 15 "Foil" Star AS Pro (thinking about each Star AS Pro booster another stats for about 108 points), your regular Star RS might be ok, but all regular AS/HoF will not be able to compete with them....

I still feel it CD did not remove the glitched foil AS card, the whole game balance is broken... people who grind a lot w/o paying $$, could only won season match about 4~7/15 chance out of 15 full Foil AS Pro line up

      2) Perhaps more egregious is the total silence. They don't have to have the answers or decision. It can be as simple as we know what happened and we are looking into it. Much like the facebook post above. But total silence is incompetence and indifference rolled into one.

I agree on the 2nd point...the first point is definitely a lot harder to determine because 1. we don't know how big of a team they actually have 2. if you were a programmer who discovered or made the mistake in the first place, i doubt you'd have the authority to make the decision to just rollback an hour without having the approval of the higher ups..in which case Danan or w/e did say he had no cell reception so it's not like they just sat there..im sure they were sweating balls lol

I would be really interested in how they are going to treat the season that everyone started. My current one is literally only 3 people who dont have full AS cards and no bots

Just have to say, obviously I'm a huge fan of the rollback option but they should NEVER ban players for their own mistake.

Which is why they won't. I don't know who came up with that awful idea haha.

The simplest way to deal with this is to ask players to quick sell the cards. Some are already doing it on their own. I can't bring myself to delete mine because I don't feel bad about having them, but if CD asked me to do it, I would. Some obviously won't, but they say they know who bought them, so those players can be dealt with. It's so much less work than CD doing it all themselves.

Re: OS Concerns: All-Star 2016 Pack Glitch

                simple fix:
Give everyone who got free packs (includining myself) 4-5 days to delete the ones the got for free. This would give people time to complete seasons they are in as well as giving them notice. After that time span, people who try to use them in season will be banned. This can be policed by individuals since we can now see opponet's ten best cards.

Each card should have a time stamp of when it was obtained so CD can then inspect cards that are reported. There could be alot of inpections, but this should be substantially less than inspecting all of them.

Also, people could send in tickets for contracts, cards, or wcs they lost due to deleting glitch cards similar to when one accidently trained away a card in previous seasons.

It would be extra work on CD, but it looks like any possible answer will be.

Re: OS Concerns: All-Star 2016 Pack Glitch

Well, thanks everyone for stealing all of my ideas! Joking aside, this worked out great as everything was hashed out by all of you guys whom had different degrees of benefit/hindrance directly and indirectly from the free packening. As always, CD has a huge decision on figuring what is fair and best for the game, developer and user community -- with the added degree of difficulty based on CD's technological capabilities backed by their current (and hired temporary) labor force and deadline of probably Wednesday evening to allow time for server update before Thursday morning event.

Here's a quick summary of everything -- skim through the posts in this thread and main thread (from Saturday morning PST) to see more detailed takes:

Degrees of Action (below are incomplete descriptions of what is possible)
                    • Do Nothing: Game on with CD hoping that new All-Star based squads offset credit spending from loss of some users.
                    • User-based initiative: Users get rid of AS cards obtained from packening and report to CD for refunds of any resources (RP, credits, WC, etc.) lost in proing cards.
                    • Developer-based initiative: CD takes it on themselves to delete AS cards and possibly banning users who used/abused packening.
                    • Complete Reset Wipeout: Flashback to before packening hour with giving RC rewards according to leaderboard.

Main Items of Concern: (probably incomplete as well)
                    • Seasons started before/during/after packening and corresponding rewards
                    • QG/RC Board Resets and WC from board during/after packening
                    • AH buys and sells -- and corresponding roster construction after packening (users selling auctionable cards from seasons/RttC lineups)
                    • RP/Credit Packs bought during/after packening (includes WC and cards won)

Personally (as someone who got the thrill of opening enough packs to pro 7 Star-tier All-Stars without using WCs or star contracts that don't make the main lineups yet) I'm cool with whatever happens. If banned, I have alternate account to continue playing casually, seeing progress of game, and contributing to the board. I understood what was going on and take responsibility for my actions... knowing full-well that I may have broken the game for myself (filling out 25-man squad with event and unauctionable Stars and waiting 4-5 months for Playoff tier) and others (mainly seasons and AH).

As in real life, there is no right answer where everyone is completely happy.. there's only "degrees" of happiness based on compromise and fairness. This could be a preview of sorts of what's going to happen in the NBA with impending cap space boom and possibilities of lockouts and super-teams.

It's fun looking back when the ****storm started...

Keep on posting ideas and concerns (or copy/paste some topics from main post here)! CD is back in office tomorrow morning (about 11 hours away as of this post) and the PR team will provide info once they get clearance on what to provide from their bosses.

True, it seems like it's only two people. Remember, all companies (governments, families, sports leagues/franchises, and other entities) have their policies regarding how to handle situations behind the scenes and in the public eye. Let's give CD's employees a break as they don't want to do anything regarding a problem of this magnitude to jeopardize their jobs (which may be year-by-year contracts for all we know in the ever evolving gaming industry) without consent of their superiors on a 3-day holiday weekend.

Here are some links to keep an eye on if the "PR team" doesn't hit the OS forums right away.

CAM I'm agree with your feelings, but honesly the worst thing CD can do is banning people for one issue that hasn't been created by user.

Frankly speaking, we don't have to pay for somebody else's mistakes because for this mistake RC leaderboard was affected, season has been affected and for CD as developer is an issue, for us (people who are regular grinder) mean have wasted RP and time for grinding also the days before saturday when also the AH has to RIP.

Every card was available and for cheap.

So everytime something happened can't be everytime punish the player is the easy solution.

CD needs not to ban imo, but just roll back and took out these cards from who have them. People that are using them for season, automatically took out from season.
