I can't really remember, I think it was less then a day but like I said EA is a bigger company so much more likely to fix things quicker then catdaddy

Being someone who was Leg++ and actually missed the free packs. I did already have an AS Wade and 2 Pro Legs so was really close to star but I benefitted massively from using all of my RP to snipe the AH.

I had saw some Pack sales during the weekend but I was just collecting the sale of some Epics from the AH when i checked the price of Stars as i could buy one and get me into Star when there was literally a new one every 30-60 seconds going up for under 20k. I managed to get myself 7 star cards for under 100k which also resulted in me getting me Freebie.

Jumped straight into a Leg Season with them all at Level 0 thinking yes free win. took nearly 2 hours to start and its 100% human with everyone having these All Stars looking at profiles all sub 200 games too. Only upside is they aren't that active or leveling all the cards

I can't stand kids in global chat bragging about their new AS lineups.
I jus't can't.

This used to be a game where you took advantage if you payed a lot or played a lot.
And now? If you are on the right place in the right time?

Since Saturday morning, I haven't even opened the app. Feel defeated right now.

I feel heavily defeated.
The hole weekend I was very busy with my family, my wife and little doughter and I had no time to read the forum and learn about the glitch.

My free time I only used my device to play to game.
And because I was out a lot of hours I bought a lot of HS to be able to get the RC card. I did not sleep last night (event ended 5 am here) and I came straight to work. I manage to finish top 250 and even I won the rc card I feel so defeated!

I have all event star cards and also 3 Star RS from winning 3 seasons in the row and with my rttc deck full of star pros.
All my effort the last 5 months are gone with this glitch.
I sent 2 hours reading what happened and how you all feel and I am very sad.

Maybe after 2 years of heavy grinding its time to retire.

So I just played 4 quick games just to see how things were. And lost all but 1. They were all star pro cards. And if they weren't those, they were foil star cards.

Ugh.

No point anymore. Can't even win quick games!

Disclaimer : I must admit I haven't had the time to read the whole thread (I read a large portion of it though) so I apologize if some of the points I'm making have already been made.

First my personnal feeling/story about this :

I was playing the app when the flash occured but too busy grinding RC (it was the damn Spurs RC after all) so I didn't benefit it at all. Maybe this explains why I'm especially bitter about the whole problem.

Nevertheless, my season LU ranged into the higher tier one, I haven't bought any pack since star tier hit, but I'm not ashamed to say I used credits to buy star contracts and game nights to finish RttC. It maybe stupid but I was kinda proud of my deck. Now with all the full foil AS LU, my deck is below average. it's simply removed all the interest in the game for me.


The flash sale itself : I personally think CD intended to do some special promotion, but it bugged. I'm not prone to believe the conspiracy theory suggesting, it's all part of an elaborate plan to crash AH.

They had a banner showing 100% discount. which indicates CD planned to do a flash sale where they would give each player a limited (I'm guessing 1) number of AS pack. This for once was a great idea.

The way CD handled the problem so far
Now the glitch was a big problem. What is even worse is the fact that CD neither adressed it in a timlely fashion schedule nor released a publicly statement explaining what was going on. The lackof professionlism demonstrated here is simply shocking. No matter what business you are in, if there is a matter of that magnitude then you are bound to release a public statement to give notice that you are aware of the problem. Np matter how or even if you intend to fix it...


The way to fix it :

Honestly I'm not too sure, if they weren't so lazy they could have rolled back to a prior server time during the WE and add 2 H to the RC (it would have hurt the European player, pushing the end time of the event to 4 or 5 am but this would have ben a low price to pay to mitigate the bad effects . Now it's too late. (People would lose ranking in RC, resets and maybe even credit they legitimetaly purchased after the flash sale was over... This could end up people losing things they bought with real money which would be illegal).

In many comments I read, people point out that CD should purely simply and purely : erase all AS cards acquired through the flash sale and that peoplle who used WC/contracts or even dupe from season/previous packs should face the consequence of using / abusing the glitch...
Do you guys really think that's fair? People who used the glitch DIDN'T do anything reprehensible they just took advantage of a given situation. It's not their **** up and not their fault. I honestly don't know, if being aware of the sale if I would have abuse the game or not, but I can't say people were wrong to do so.

CD screwed up and it's up to them to restore the situation. Best one would be to remove all this AS cards, give back WC, contracts and even card used to train the AS... Can they do it? I really doubt it given the very high numbers of players.

Alternative solution :
Release new event's card, from next RttC which will make the AS/HoF irrelevant. It's more or less what they did in leg with the christmas and NYE RttC and it SUCKED. Second problem here would be anyone who din't benefit from the sale could hit a wall in the new events due to their deck not being strong enough while the people who used the glitch could sprint through it...

Honestly IMO, there is no good solution...And I will conclude on that pessimistic note

I have an average lineup and no all stars and win 8 out of 10 in star++, +5 in RC, all star cards are barely better than regular stars.Lineup I used was Star pro/half trained star pro/reg legendary pro charged/reg leg pro/legendary. All you need to know is always play you weakest card first and try to save your second best till last, it's all about AI opponent patterns, once you figure them out it's pretty easy.

Seasons are utterly pointless now tho, unless you get lucky in matchmaking.

True, I've never gone past second round anyway so to me all seasons were a bit pointless, star season reward structure doesn't help either.

The last 2 season I've had 10+ star pros. There weren't a whole lot of people who have ~10. So the % chance that I get more humans in my season was low. I had around 3 humans twice in a row. I believe personally it's all about who is close to your tier and searching at the same time. Using commons for example doesn't change anything. This last season I joined I have 8 humans, not an egregious number, but 3 of them have full AS Pro lineups. That's 3 people with a better deck than me that wouldn't have been in my season last week. Many people who abused this were already in a season. Since this happened Sat, just wait until after Wed this week. All seasons are going to be insane. There are too many full AS decks. Yes, even before this there was a chance you could have a really bad season. Now? It's almost guaranteed.

I think rollback really needed, and 2 weeks BAN penality for glitch users!

If you find wrong transaction on your bank account, but not report it, you are guilty. I think its something like that.

Actually, you only get in trouble if the bank asks for the money back and you don't comply.
