Re: OS Concerns: All-Star 2016 Pack Glitch
1. Legal issues that suck up the resources devoted to this game. This would be a real problem. This entire issue is CatDaddy's fault. The users at the time, could very easily make the argument they didn't know whether it was intended or not, as it was a sale, and that they would be at a competitive disadvantage if they did not grab the cards. Whatever argument they made, any items purchased with real money, so credits, that were used up and whose effect would be erased by a rollback, would give them cause for a refund. Users are already threatening refund claim.
2. Resets. Self explanatory. I got my star reset and it was a off spec kyrie. I will be pissed off if they take this from me given how long it takes already to get a reset.
3. Seasons. Also self explanatory.
4. Wilds/Star Contract used. I will use a wild and star contract to pro Kawhi tonight. If that was taken away, I would also be pissed.Comment

Re: OS Concerns: All-Star 2016 Pack Glitch
I got many free packs and in the time since got an early reset and sold a decent amount of cards. I would happily give that up for a rollback. I realize for the health of the game this is a must. I may lose a bit personally but it is not fair to those who grinder hard and/or paid to progress.

But CD should definitely have a weekend lighthouse watcher (one permanent person or a rotation) in case of emergency to at least acknowledge issues. Problems of this magnitude will involve big bosses who definitely won't do anything until all involved employee parties meet up.

I'm in favour of a rollback, but if they don't do that, I would accept an easy RTTC with 10 AS pros given way. It would at least level the decks a bit.Comment

Re: OS Concerns: All-Star 2016 Pack Glitch
Honestly it's just kinda compounding the problems. You're trivializing every dollar spent or every minute played even more. Not to mention the economy would literally crash and just about everything auctionable would be worthless. At that point you'd almost be playing just to play, with literally nothing to gain from your time played.Comment

But between an AS giveaway and and nothing at all, I choose the former.
The only solution I can see whales being happy with is a full rollback so they don't lose their advantage. I'm with them on that.Comment

You're right, that solution is not one I expect high paying players to be receptive to, which is why my first choice far and away is a rollback.

Re: OS Concerns: All-Star 2016 Pack Glitch
It causes it's own issues, but introducing a Star2.0 might be a way to combat that.
Some people have suggested Star 2.0 or earlier PO tier, but that won't work as the glitchers still have unfair advantages.
I like the elegant solution of lowering AS stats to base star level, but that still screws over people who paid for 'em.
Another elegant solution is matchmaking based off card type, rather than total stats, but then what about paying players again? Or people who earned AS cards via season?Comment
