Actually, that is called "unjust enrichment", with a whole set of remedies, and obligations on the "enriched" party. That debate is well beyond the scope of this forum, but you can google the term up.

And just out of curiosity, how well did you do with your "free" packs? 15 pro's? Full RTTC lineup? 20 singles waiting for that wild card?

Nah.. that's too light a punishment for what they've done to my game. Glitch users should be banned for life.

If you find wrong transaction on your bank account, but not report it, you are guilty. I think its something like that.

So who should we ban when we, the players, are being taken advantage off on multiple situations

Did you two miss the chance or willingly not open a single pack? Be honest!

How do you ban users when packs said 100% off? This makes absolutely no sense. Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes.

Personally I want the cards removed but I don't want the after effects of a rollback that causes hundreds of users to lose cards, abilities, RP etc gained after CD's screw up. Note, it was CD who dropped the ball not the users.

People keep asking about my lineup before the glitch. I started this season at 6am eastern on Saturday morning before glitch.
I already had a 15 star pro lineup before the glitch. I had 4 all star pro and 3 singles AS from seasons and packs before the glitch. I got about 6 AS pro plus 20 singles from the glitch. But I deleted them for fear of a CD banning.

Re: OS Concerns: All-Star 2016 Pack Glitch

It seems like the Pro rollback side does not want to hold CD accountable and would rather point the finger at those who took advantage of the situation.

The only correct remedy would be to issue an apology and remove every single card acquired from glitched packs from people's decks sans a global rollback. I don't care how tedious this might be. If they had done their jobs in the first place this never would have happened.

Stop minimizing CD's involvement and make them own up to their responsibilities.

I think you do this and when you can you restore wildcards, star contracts, or legit AS cards used to pro. Again, it's unfair to punish the users really. Deleting a star pro from someone's deck, you will have no idea how it became a pro. Also, if each card has some sort of marker, say some serial number attached. I find it unlikely that a Pro version of that card will have the same marker or at least contain it in any way. While I completely agree that this is the best course of action. I just don't think they have a way to track all of this.

I would bet Danan's life that they do absolutely nothing about this other than apologize and hope for the best. And their apologize will probably sound pretty shallow, if it ever comes. Let's be real here, it's been 48hours and not a peep from them. How absolutely sad is that?

Here's an example of how little I think they actually know about your deck. I told them I accidentally charged a couple Leg pros into a leg card. They said they cannot restore a pro, but they can give you 2 singles. So my cards were Cousins and LMA. They gave me 2 LMA's and 2 Kobe's. I told them, you did not give me any Cousin cards. They said "OK, let me try again...Please check one more time" I checked? And now I had 4 Kobe's. I decided not to say anything more, and they had no idea. So to think they can look into our decks and pick an AS pro that was pro'd from a pack and delete it....IMO that's a stretch.

What they def have the ability to do is change things going FORWARD. I don't think they can backtrack any of this.

So this thread is supposed to be about coming up with idea of what they CAN do. I think we should get back to that.

Exactly. CD screwed up. CD should fix their damn mistakes. People took advantages of it. What did you expect? Oh god "FREE BEAST CARD" , wait but no I don't want to have a too good deck, poor people who won't see the sale will feel it's too unfair."
Really ? Come on in the real world we all know most people would take advantages of a given situation if they can. CD screwed up, now it's their job to fix it.

Aside from one or 2 posters, nobody is pointing fingers. I agree, your solution is ideal. Get rid of the cards but don't affect progress made since the glitch. Refund WCs used to pro glitched cards.

Sadly all your points are spot on... Punishing users is NOT the solution...

Danan spoke on FB actually. Saying he was somewhere in the mountain and had 0 access to internet/phone coverage and that it was an error and they will see how to address it. It took them over 24H to do so though.

What is weird is that he tweeted stuff during the actual sale. Something like "only 4X minutes to go. Better hurry up." Seriouslty the more I think of it, the more I realize this is the worse community management EVER
