I guess a 2nd patch would help but right now I see lots of guys jumping ship and moving on.

So even if they do release a 2nd patch they might have just lost back some of the FANBASE they had attained again this year.

I personally have stopped playing and went back to the Football games and the other basketball game myself.

Maybe in January all this stuff gets sorted out and fixed but again it appears to me most guys have jumped shipped already and by Decemeber or January they might not be willing to comeback to Live 10 unless there's a major uproar on these boards about gameplay after the 2nd patch

So true, So true. EA really had an opportunity to do something really special. I just don't get it with them. Excuse after excuse. As you stated PM by the time they get this mess straightened out a lot will have sold there game and moved on and I can't believe theres a chance they will believe EA if they said the issues have been fixed.

The trust that they were starting to gain back I think is out the door and probably never to come back. I really hope they can get it together. So much promise with this game. The other game had just as many issues and that game was fixed in several weeks. Why can't EA do the same???

Hey there...hementioned before that it will be submitted in the next few weeks. After that it normally takes a couple of weeks to get cleared. If you're on the PS3, Sony normally takes longer.

So...probably between 4 and 6 weeks I guess.

I think Playmakers is close to the money when he says no one will probably care by then. I guess I am sounding harsh here, but IMO fixing a game in late December that people bought in early October is way too slow. Just my opinion.

Patch one actually created all the problems...so patch 2 could even be worse. Who knows...

Yeah BB's deal is great, I plan on picking up a lot of EA titles that day. BTW, great choice! Live 10 is an amazing experience all the hype or not the game is pretty damn good! Just look at my gameplay videos on youtube or check them out in my Arena where I linked them.

A title update will still be coming... what you are seeing are the streaks turned on.

Hot & Cold Streaks alone have vastly improved this game...If you thought the game was unplayable online before a few nights ago I suggest you play online now on Superstar and you will see a BIG difference...The game is very good at this point.

The only thing I really want patched is the stupid problem where on a drive-and-dish the recipient of the pass (even though completely stationary) suddenly feels the need to fly towards the rim even though my stick is neutral. Plus the players feeling like they're glued to the floor post-patch #1 need to go ASAP.

The OT glitch and stuff needs sorting as well.

Best Buy has a lot of deals on BF. Which system you have this for?

I have it on 360, and so far the only thing I can see effected by the 1st patch was the OT glitch with Goaltending which is hit and miss, if you notice I just posted a full online match with OT. So it's rare and random, not a game killer, but definitely an issue of GT points not counting.

I definitely think that the problems with the first patch are being overstated here at OS as I personally have only experienced the OT glitch once or twice. Some guys are just looking for something to complain about as they really didn't give the game a fighting chance in the first place, but with that being said I cant wait for the second patch... Hopefully it puts this game over the top, because I definitely think this is a great game still..

Although since the first patch for 2k10 I have found myself popping that game in a little bit more.. Eventhough I like live better, I think its just going back to what i'm used to..

Can't wait to see what the second patch does for the game. I don't want to get frustrated with the game after the first patch, so I'm not even playing it until the 2nd Patch drops. Hopefully it'll drop soon.

Well I'm still an owner of this game, the d-bag who won my eBay auction asked after the he won the auction if the DNA code was used or not (which of course I said it was used in the auction description) and said he didn't want the game. Unreal, might as well hang on to this game until patch 2 now. I think I'm going to delete the patch 1 for the time being.

I sold my LIVE...but i'll definitely grab a second hand copy if patch 2 fixes things up.

Side note: Someone should start a "the best part of LIVE 10" thread...i.e list all the really good things (like the play sets)...things to make sure the producers know not to remove in future.
