That was sarcasm man lol...

I understand both sides.... after multiple debacles, you should understand why people are wondering.. it actually happened in 07 too but that was worse. Nobody got to see or review the game or anything until it was well after the release, and then people bought it and it was a mess.

I dont think that's the case here, but all of the sports games in general nex gen have been pretty quiet sans fifa right..only thing is all of those game actually released previous versions

Now that I think about it a lot of next gen games in general have been quiet . But I understand what you're saying . My 2k14 ps4 is paid for and I haven't even preordered live yet . So they have to show more soon.

I have to agree...the longer they go without showing anything (enter GTA V or current gen 2k line here) the more I believe it's just more of the same.

All I need is that little 2 min gameplay clip, I've played enough Live in my life that I can tell if this game is going to be something or not.

I understand 2k holding back and waiting to release next gen info. It makes complete sense to me but Live showing nothing doesn't, they should've taken advantage of this quite time and just flood us with all the Live next gen stuff they could......because they didn't, leads me to believe they don't have anything worth while to show yet.

Hope I'm wrong.

It's too early for next gen. I would guess that in the next month we'll start getting some info/gameplay.

People want 5vs to confirm their predispositions for the game. I don't like 2k gameplay. The next gen vid did nothing for me. I like live. Loved the Bouncetek demo and will most likely like anything else they release.

It seems most people here want 5vs5 to nitpick.

I said it did nothing for me. I don't like 2k gameplay due to lack of control. Did it look good yes. Does it control good is the question and that vid proved nothing.

If I was EA I would wait until right before 2k drops their current gen game and flood the market with information in hopes that I could change the minds of people that are buying both current gen and next gen 2k. That they would drop their current gen purchase and spend that money on NBA Live. idk just my random thoughts.

This needs to be acknowledged. NO launch title is really out there too strong. It's too soon. And you certainly don't want to steal thunder from the consoles that are going to give you the most profit. Face it: no one is going to make any money off of the launch titles. And I have my doubts that Sony and MS have worked through every issue these things are bound to have and the title makers are crippled by this as well. But you can certainly agree with others - Live, as a franchise, has an uphill battle. They need to convince people to give them a look, let alone switch. If you switch just to switch, one has to question your judgement. Not because one title is better or anything. Just by itself, over the last 3 years, the title has not delivered. The cheating girlfriend/boyfriend analogy fits. Why would you go back to the chick (or dude) that has cheated on you multiple times? One word: starts with an 's', rhymes with Cupid.

"Everyone"? Looked better than it has in the past (for obvious reasons). Controls were rough, but promising. I won't say it was "good" or "bad". And you continue to hound that "lack of control" of 2K. I'll tell you this - if you have an issue with the level of control of 2K, then you will not like Live.

I think live 10 controls better than 2k13 in all facets. Shooting, passing, dribbling, blocking and rebounding. 2k for the past few years has tried to implement the dribbling and now passing..

If you think that the demo you played controlled worse than live 10 fine you win.

To be of the opinion that Live controlled better for you overall is one thing. To say that Live 10 controlled better in "all facets" is clearly biased to the point that it's really not worth discussing. I will say, again, that the demo was a rough and completely unfinished product. I fully expect it to make significant improvement before it ships. But if you put a gun to my head and ask me if it controlled better than Live 10 - my opinion - a clear "no". Can it? I don't know. It depends on how far they want to take principles promised with Bouncetek.

By the way, I find this post to be incredibly ironic. You're right - many people are just waiting for 5v5 Live vids to poke holes in it. And that's wrong. Absolutely. But, by the same token, you say the 2K next-gen vid did nothing for you - but with the next-gen Live video being universally considered LESSER to that same video, you're all excited about. Basically, anything EA puts out about Live, you're ready to laud it. That's my impression. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It's just my read on this post.
