Actually, my original position was that I wanted them to make use of the development time as much as possible, and not waste time creating a gameplay video to release when that time could be used to improve what's there. I added additional reasons why there should be no rush on their part to release a gameplay video.

The actual programmers arent the ones making the videos bro. Development isnt stopping because they need to make a video, thats ridiculous. Yesterday you dropped that "SCEA could make an NFL game exclusive to the PS3" its clear you dont know what you are talking about, which is fine, arent many of us on here that "Know everything" but you arguing points that dont even have a logical basis and calling people out about not knowing stuff. take a chill pill.

today EA released a screenshot, it is Irving alone, dribbling. Like does anything else happen in the game or do you just dribble up and down the court with Irving? Live has no current gen game to sell, the next gen basketball market is wide open. in 2 months they could hype the heck out of the game and have an edge on NBA 2k which still has current ten to sell. But they arent taking advantage of that, and their reputation which is broken, isn't being repaired. Their lack of info screams something aint right.

That's what I keep coming back to. EA has a huge potential advantage here. They're not doing anything to take advantage of it.

They haven't released a b-ball game in 4 years and all I've seen is a screenshot of Kyrie Irving, and a quick halfcourt video of Kyrie Irving dribbling a basketball.

Bold Prediction:

The game will release, but it will only contain Kyrie Irving, it will be fullcourt though, and not only will he dribble, he will be able to shoot AND dunk, he will not, I repeat NOT play defense as he will be the only player in the game.

Some of you are going to be very, very disappointed in this game, although it will garner an 8.5 from IGN.

Yup that sounds about right. And I think in 2k14 you get to control Lebron and run around and flop.

Besides the fact that 2k has become stale to me, Lebron is my least favorite player so there are many things about 2k14 that don't appeal to me.

Couldn't have said it better myself. As for it becoming stale, that is true on current gen but who knows, next gen could be somewhat improved. If there are still canned animations on next gen, I'm done with 2k.
