I mean conference RPI. When you go to standings in the top right corner it will have conference RPI. The year I went 30-3 mine was 30. I think there are only 30 conferences so that's probably why I ended with such a bad seed, but you must have had a really good OOC and a decent conference RPI to be ranked that high for seeding and team RPI.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Another question.
If entered the Coaches v Cancer pre-season tournament and made it to the finals. Since I sim the regular season I didn't actually go into the game for sure but did see the court through Hoopcast, so this is all assumption. The court on Hoopcast looked like Madison Square Garden, with orange and blue sidelines, NBA three point line and I'm pretty sure the MSG logo. However, the Big East Tournament and NIT Finals are at the Carrier Dome. What's up with that? How do they get the rights to MSG for CvC but not the other two major events that happen there? If I had to guess it's because 2k would have the rights for CvC since they sponsor it, but still seems weird they would only have the license for that and not the whole game.Comment

Starting a new career legacy. However with a hitch. Every coach will be 80 years old, and therefore retire after year 1.Support Local Sports

Oh I like that idea! So that means that every job will be taken by assistant coaches by year 2, correct? Will you be documenting it here in the dynasty forums?Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
It was insanely hot out yesterday, so I was not going outside. Instead I put in 2k8 and somehow played 7 hours in a row. I felt so lazy, but that feeling was probably multiplied because nothing went right. The first season at Duquesne I was in the running for two five stars, both had me at the top of the list, and then somehow during the season, despite being at 100% interest, I was topped by Louisville and lost both of them. That continued to happen every time before I realized I should just sign 4 stars. The team was so inconsistent. They finished 2nd in the A10 one year and didn't even make the A10 tournament the next year, despite only losing a couple guys. I made the tournament twice and made it to the second round once. After I don't know how many seasons, probably 8 or 9, I left for Minnesota. Made the NIT as an at-large but lost in the 2nd round in my first year.
My thought of going to a more populous college because there would be more recruits in the area has not worked very well. the result has been a more populous area=more schools to compete with, so I'm constantly losing out to bigger schools. I had much better luck at NDSU than I did at Morehead, and while Duquesne could get me automatic four star recruiting classes, I couldn't compete for any 5's with the million schools around. I don't know how some of you guys turn CSU Bakersfield into a dynasty, I find it hard to even get four stars with the low-level teams.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Well after defeating Jacksonville State in 1R and Stanford R2, lost in the Sweet 16 to 6 seed Louisville. Couldn't stop a damn thing defensively when we needed to. Overcame a big deficit but just couldn't make enough stops to win it in the end. Had a chance down 3 late but turned it over when I stepped out of bounds trying to run a play for the tie.
Finish the season 22-11. Overall I'm now 368-118 in 14 seasons. This was one of the more disappointing seasons. We had so much talent but never could gel together as a team. I'll lose 5 seniors and have a lot of young talent to look to next year, but it's probably going to be a rebuilding year at Wake.
The Final Four is #3 Oregon vs #6 Louisville (who I lost to) and #1 Texas Tech vs #11 Rutgers.
National Championship is #6 Louisville vs #1 Texas Tech
And Louisville wins it all! Pitino's 2nd Nat'l Championship and 1st at Louisville.
Won the 1st 2 rounds in the ACC tourney before losing in the SF to Duke (for the 3rd time this season). Earned a #4 seed in the NCAAs but lost in the 1st round to Niagara, who only got in by winning their conf tourney, 77-65. Just the epitome of our season, turnovers and bad D means losing to a team less talented. Finished up 19-12, my first sub-20 win season since my first season way back at UC Riverside.
Final Four was #1 NC St vs #9 Depaul and #1 Duke vs #1 Colorado. Colorado and Depaul faced off in the NC game.
AND...Colorado won 56-50 to win the National Championship.Last edited by rangerrick012; 07-07-2012, 03:52 PM.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Since IU is such a powerhouse in my CL .. i'm thinking about starting over and sticking to 1 small school.. I want cool unis.. cool court and arena... any suggestions? I may make it a mid major (can a small school eventually become a mid major label?)
Could use some feedbackComment
