I finished the 2015-16 season 28-4 (16-0) at Campbell. I won my first NCAA Tournament game against 9 seed Villanova (98 Overall), 77-68. At halftime of the next game, I actually had a 4 point lead on 1 seed Georgia Tech, but then reality set in. I ended up losing the game 82-66, but I'd still say that 2016 was the best season I've had at Campbell. In the next season, I'm already 3-0 with wins over UNC-Wilmington, Boston U, and Northern Illinois. I've got a game later this season at Duke, so I'll let you know how that goes.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Ouch, that really sucks... I hope you didn't play all of your games because that is quite a punch in the gut if you've been at it for 8 seasons. I keep like 15 save files just so I don't accidentally do something like that. Are you going to continue with your new dyn?Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I mean, the gameplay is definitely outdated and it took some getting used to coming back to it from NBA 2K14, but it's still decent enough. Sure, I would never play this game for the gameplay alone, but the depth and immersiveness of legacy mode has always been this game's strength and that hasn't changed.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Dang, that sucks a bunch. A whole lot of time erased in a matter of seconds.
Something unrelated, I decided to watch the weekly show with Greg Gumble and one guy had a 27 point, 30 rebound game. I don't think I have ever seen anyone get 30 rebounds in a game on here.
In other news... My team finished 3rd in the Big South but won the Big South tournament. We got a 14 seed (I knew that tough schedule would pay dividends) playing Georgia Tech in the West Regional.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Last season we finished 21-13 and earned a 14 seed in the NCAA tournament. We lost in the first round to Georgia Tech 77-59. We made some major changes over the off-season that will make our team better in the future. We lost 57 overall Jevoni Robinson but we bring in a few player
It may seem counter-intuitive but I plan on redshirting all of the incoming recruits because this team is finally gaining some experience and I would rather give these guys a year to mesh with Lawson, Cox, and Williams as opposed to replacing my experienced guys in the line-up for two.
Incoming players:
Transfer Devonte Watson (Temple) Sr PF 70 Ovr
He will be the best defensive presence this team has had so far
Transfer Luke Meikle (Gonzaga) Jr PF 68 ovr
Finesse big man that will better allow us to stretch the defense.
Transfer Kenneth Lowe (Wisconsin GB) Jr PF 68 ovr
I was debating whether to accept him because I believe Meikle can do many of the things that Lowe can do. Lowe is a better rebounder though.
2* #690 Ovr #158 SF Parker Collison 48 Ovr
I knew he may be a bit of a project but more than I was expecting. I love his athleticism and he has good potential but he has a ton of work to do.
2* #508 Ovr #128 PG James Brown 55 Ovr
I brought him in for his ability to handle the ball and his potential and he can do just that. He has good potential (B+) and enough speed to push the ball up the court. His shooting and defense leave a lot to be desired but I hope he can be Williams replacement in 2 years.
3* Mr Basketball MS Jarard Dupre #429 Ovr # 70 PF 67 Ovr
Honestly, I just brought this guy in because he was Mr. Basketball for my state. He is extraordinarily average (C potential) and doesn't specialize in anything. I'm sure he will contribute here just by virtue of being one of the better overall players.
3* #201 Ovr #38 SF Rene Cummings 72 Ovr
I was really excited to get this guy. He doesn't have the potential I look for but he is very athletic (85 speed), can handle the ball if we are in a pinch and possesses a decent ability to shoot the ball. I think he can have a few special years here.
4* World Recruit #NR Chi Chi Jackson 75 Ovr
Where do I begin with this guy? First off, his name is Chi Chi, that's an awesome name. He's also one of the best word recruits I've picked up in any legacy (I try not to recruit world, they are so unreliable). He is perfectly suited for the up tempo offense I would like to run. He is a finesse player for sure. He can shoot the mid range jumper well (74 mid range), has great speed (81 speed) and can handle the ball (73 handle).
Biloxi State Year 3
Ovr 61
Off 65
Def 57
PG N. Williams 64 ovr
SG B. Cox 69 ovr
SF J. Dobbins 48 ovr
PF C. Lawson 62 ovr
C A. Stockholm 52 ovr
6 D Leonard 54 ovr
7 D Perez 48 ovr
8 K. Callahan 48 ovr
I expect next year to be a big year so I scheduled plenty of games to give experience for Lawson, Cox, and Williams. This year we will likely go 7 deep again but next year we will have an influx of talent to go along with some experience. I scheduled 9 games on the road against ranked teams as well as the College hoops classic tournament and the Maui Invitational. I did this for two reasons. One, so it wouldn't hurt my rpi if I lose. Secondly, I am very excited for next season and if I'm not faring well I may want to simulate a large part of non-conference play. If I were to schedule a ton of mediocre teams then I couldn't do that because I would probably lose if I didn't play which would kill my rpi.
Biloxi State (1-0) 69
@#1 Syracuse (0-1) 65
I don't know whether to be happy or what. I'm glad we won but it just feels like it shouldn't happen. I've looked at other teams ratings and Cuse is the 3rd best in the ACC at 87 overall. I'll wait to see how this plays out but I think Cuse is a pretender, not a legitimate #1 team. Cox had an amazing game where he shot 11-18 from 3 pt range to the tune of 37 points. We held a 10 point lead with about 4 minutes left and Cuse came storming back seemingly hitting everything. It was really a no win situation for me. I wanted to win but I felt like it shouldn't happen. Then when Syracuse starting storming back I felt like it was going to be rigged. Ultimately I won, we'll see how Cuse fares this year. I'll definitely keep up with it. I said I probably would probably simulate a lot of non conference play but I play #23 LSU next to see if that win was legit or not.
Biloxi State (1-1) 42
@#23 LSU (1-0) 61
I started off the game with a quick 12-0 lead. Following the Kentucky game, I'm thinking "what the hell, I lose Jevoni Robinson and return the same team and now we're awesome". Immediately following that thought, reality set in. LSU went on a 30-6 run and it was never close again after that. Lawson (20 pts, 9 rebs) left off where he did last year. This was a heat check game. I'll probably play the next game against our rivals and simulate most, not all of the non-conference schedule.
2k College Sports Classic Bracket A
Biloxi State (2-1) 89
MVSU (0-1) 86
I had to play this one to ensure we won and also we beat a rival. I was surprised at how difficult it was, it definitely was not an easy win. Lawson (35 pts 5 rebs) did what he always does and that is go to work. I plan on simming next match against presumably #15 Mizzou
Biloxi State (2-2) 72
#15 Mizzou (2-0) 87
I simulated this game. Lawson had 38 points and 14 rebounds. I'm a bit surprised that he was even more dominant without me playing LOL.
Maui Invitational
Biloxi State (2-3) 61
Wake Forest (2-1) 84
Simmed. Lawson had another 33 point, 9 rebound game.
Biloxi State (2-4) 65
Iowa (2-2) 80
Simmed. Lawson had 35 points, 9 rebounds.
Biloxi State (3-4) 79
Grambling (1-5) 47
Grambling managed to keep it close for a while but we outscored them 35-16 in the second half. Lawson had 23 points and 9 rebounds. We concluded the Maui invitational with a win.
Savannah State (0-5) 65
@Biloxi State (4-4) 77
Simmed. I think I said I would play games against these teams where I can win because otherwise I would lose. However, Savannah State was 57 ovr with 1 bar of team unity. I felt like at home, with 3 bars of unity and being 61 overall that we would win. Lawson had 38 pts, 9 rebounds. I was really worried that his numbers would go down if I simmed a few non conference games and that is certainly not the case.
Biloxi State (4-5) 52
@#3 Kansas (5-1) 92
Simmed. I checked on Syracuse to see how they are doing now and they sit at 5-3 with losses to me, Iowa, and Washington and their best win is Hofstra. Syracuse was definitely not a legit #1 but my win yields an attribute point for me nevertheless. Embiid scored 35 against us. Our player of the game was actually Williams with 15 points, 7 assist.
Biloxi State (4-6) 64
@#10 Duke (7-1) 104
Simmed. This Duke team is who should have been #1. They are 93 overall and 5 team unity. Lawson had 34 points and 13 Rebounds to lead our team.
Biloxi State (4-7) 49
@#1 Memphis (8-0) 97
Simmed. Lawson (21 points, 10 rebs) was our best player again. One of the reasons I made a schedule like this was for my RPI but another was so I could get multiple shots at getting the beat the #1 team attribute point. Thankfully I already earned that.Last edited by N.C.State; 02-20-2014, 10:31 PM.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Congrats on your success with Biloxi State! I decided to continue with my new legacy with my created team, the Clarendon State Dachshunds. I also created the Merrifield Werewolves to be my rivals. I replaced NJIT and Chicago State in Independents. So far I'm 3-2 with wins over Manhattan, Vermont, and American (Losses against Campbell and Lehigh).Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Wait, you replaced a Independents team? I really wanted to do that but it doesn't allow you to take a Independent team year 1 which is unfortunate. That would be the ultimate challenge though. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think an Independent school has ever made it to the NCAAT.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
The only thing different about open legacy is the ability to edit ratings and the inability to be fired, right? Love the idea though. I had a dynasty where I would simulate and I built Longwood into a good team and it was still incredibly difficult to make the tournament.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
In my Eastern Illinois legacy we just lost to BGSU and are now 3-8. They hit a halfcourt shot with 0.1 to win it.
That makes 5 losses at the hand of the CPU making a shot at the buzzer. 5 huge facepalms.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Just finished my first season with Lamar. Happy to say I played every minute of every game. Won the regular-season title in Southland as well as the conference tourney, heading into NCAAs with a 21-6 mark (12-4 in Southland).
Snagged a No. 13 seed and upset Gonzaga 82-60 before getting slapped around by UConn (No. 5 seed) 95-71. Was only down seven at half, but Huskies used a big spurt to put the game away.
Looking forward to off-season. I lose three of the 10 players on my team, so I have six schollys open. Already have a 3-star JC center, trying to snag a couple more three-stars.
