I stayed at the Citadel for 6 years, I had one play in game for the tourney after year 2, then years 3-5 nothing but a NIT bid in the 5th year. My 6th and final year I made the tourney again and I left after that.

11-2 in my first year with Dartmouth. Looks like the Ivy League schedule will be an interesting one.

Okay, there seem to be a few people still following this thread.

Since I've been fired again, I'm trying to decide whether I restart a new legacy using the 09-10 rosters, or the original rosters from 2(?) years ago.

Of course, it's always fun to play with the most up-to-date rosters, but it was pretty funny to see now this year's season turned out, which was with Syracuse winning the title, by the way. Also thought it was fun to compare the tourney draw with the one still fresh in my head.

            Thoughts?

Wait...so you were fired, you didn't get job offers from other schools?

Yep. I tend to use sliders that are too difficult for my own abilities, not pay enough attention to detail in recruiting, and, hence, don't get good enough quick enough.

                I still have fun, though.

The patch made it extremely difficult plus the interface is dry and uninteresting. Recruiting is basically just a chore.

I actually enjoy the recruiting aspect as much as playing the games. It is much deeper and more challenging than the systems used in EA Sports games and that makes it a lot more entertaining for me. Finding that diamond in the rough or having a player come in and be a disappointment make recruiting more varied and entertaining.

I started up a Syracuse legacy yesterday. I scheduled 2 in season tournaments, but for some reason the CPU scheduled another for me. I don't know why. I played my 2 tournaments, won every game and then when I finished my 4th game, I go to check my schedule and I have another tournament scheduled. Well, I checked it and Kentucky is in it. I won my 1st game and then got matched to play Kentucky. They were ranked #2 overall while I was #6 overall. Great game. I was up double digits the majority of the game. With about 3 minutes left, UK started their late rally. They came back down about 10 to actually gain the lead on me at 58-57. 40 or so seconds to go, I have the ball. I run the clock down to about 10 seconds on the shot clock, run a screen drive and dish. The screen comes, I drive inside and Rautins is wide open in the corner. I pass it to him and nail a 3 to go up 60-58 with 8 seconds left. UK ran down the court before Wall took an off balance shot and missed. Game over.

I'm now 7-0 ranked 4th in the country.

I don't remember. I downloaded a few 09-10 files and all were close to the same. I went in and added the coaches names that were left out. I also made a few transfers that were missed. I resaved the file to a new name. Just downlaod a few 09-10 files and pick 3 random small schools and check the rosters to see if they are right. The 3 teams I cheked had correct years and a few freshmen. Sorry I wish I could remember the file name. I will not upload my file to 2kshare becuase I hate people that pass off roster files as their own. There are other sites out there like OS and other guys who make roster files. They may not be 100% correct but the names are there and anyone is welcome to make their own edits.
Just download a few files and go with the best one.
Relax, it's just a video game!

In my first season as coach of Florida Gulf Coast. Started the season 1-9 -- could never pull out the close games, but was never getting blown out. Had some GOOD losses (if there is such a thing) to Iowa (66-63) who is now ranked #20 at 20-6, and also to Butler 78-66.

I was able to win 4 of my next five though against some softer competition and started conference play 5-10.

The A-Sun is definitely a conference full of parody, which helped me out a lot, I actually played the strongest team in the conference, North Florida early on in the schedule and won by 6. Currently now I am at 8-6 in conference play and 12-16 overall.

After three more conference games I finish up against a down Marquette squad who will still be extremely challenging with some 80 rated players.

Have a 3* recruit at 100% who I'm hoping will commit soon and am crossing my fingers for a nice tourney win.

It is a little disheartening to know that a conference tourney win would plant me firmly in the #16 slot against the likes of either Kansas or Louisville, though.

I see myself spending 2-3 years at FGCU maximum before bolting for a better situation.
