EDIT: No offers from other schools, so it's another year at Florida A&M. I got screwed by the CPU in the postseason awards. We win the conference regular season and tournament championship, make the 2nd round of the NCAA, and I still don't get Coach of the Year?!!? It goes to the coach at Bethune-Cookman, who we beat twice in the regular season and once in the conference tournament? Really??

Sorry. I was more than a bit annoyed about that. Can user coaches even get awards in this game?
i know its possible cause ive done it in past legacies, but i just had same thing happen to me, 15-1 in conf, won conf tourny and beat fresno all 3 times. only thing i can figure is they had 28 wins compared to my 26 and they advance to sweet 16 and i got bounced in 2nd round, but my rpi was like 25th compared to their 60th..................so who knows

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Started a new career with the 11-12 named rosters. I'm running as Coach Davis and UC Irvine. Simmed the first year, ended up with 8 wins.

In my second season we are off to a 2-1 start with a win against in state opponent Stanford. Our team is led by our two freshman studs, 3 star recruit SF that I combo at the 3/4. Freshman SF. Jeremiah Johnson at 6'8 is a super athletic high flyer at the 3 and leading our team in scoring. SF. KJ Shields is a 6'8 247lb beast of a 3. He can dunk, drive, post up, and hit threes. Needs work on his ball handling but this kid has a chance to be special. I round out my starting 5 with a solid sophomore PG who can hit the three and make stops on D, a senior captain at SG who is a midrange specialist, and my SO. C who I am lucky to have. At 6'10 he's athletic and runs the floor well. My 6th man is also a freshman and a 70ovr. PF with range.

Should be a great season, if my freshman can continue produce we stand a chance against UCLA and USC in out of conference play. I have a feeling we will sweep through the conference and be a dangerous team come tourney time. Go Anteaters!
      Go Gators!

I don't know either, but like I said, I was first regular season and conference tournament and was the only team from my conference to make the postseason.

Anyway, I am now simming about half of my games to move things along a bit.

good start to my 18-19 season with nevada, finished 26-9(15-1) last season, lost to a very good #3 seed clemson in the 2nd round of ncaa, and signed my very first HSAA, got on him as a sophmore as he was an instate prospect and held off a late push by Arizona. we are 8-4 with an rpi of 6th heading into conf play, lost opener to stony brook then @clemson @ st joes and @ tennessee, but we were able to win the preseason nit and have gave 14-2 cross state rival UNLV their only 2 losses of the season, expect to roll through the wac with my 3 seniors controlling the frontcourt, looks liek a great opportunity to take a bigger job at season end if a good spot opens up especially losing my 3 best players and their backups are nowhere near as talented

One season I won a non conference tournament, the Patriot League regular season championship and tournament championship but lost as a 15 seed to 2nd seed Kansas in NCAA. My record was 23-9 (11-3) and I was not selected coach of the year.

The next season I did not win a tournament and did not win the regular season championship but I did win the tournament again. Made tournament once again as a 15 seed. This time beat Texas A&M before getting beat in the second round by Kansas again. My record was 21-13 (8-6) and I got coach of the year

You'd think I would've won it my first year and not my second....it's really weird how they select the award winner.

Just headed into year 9, year 2 at Gonzaga, and in my first recruiting class here I pulled in the #9 overall center. He came in as a 78 overall freshman. You bet I am staying at Gonzaga at least until he graduates.

I will be very disappointed if he hardly progresses.

I was going to to start an Open Legacy with Michigan, but now I'm reconsidering. It may be more fun to start a Career Legacy at a weaker school and work my way up to the Michigan job.

Left Georgia Tech to goo back to Siena. At the conference tournament finals against 11 Fairfield they have a 7 footer, one thing I miss having. Had the best C coming when I got to GT. 1-1 so far against them so far. Gonna be a great game.

Lost 62-77 Bucky Gooden (7'2 c) had 13 pts & 13 reb. I just don't have the height to hang with the taller teams. I don't even have a true C.
All my recruits have ben stolen by larger schools. I love being a mid major.

How is it going from a major back to a mid-major? This is something I may contemplate in the future if/when I turn WVU into a powerhouse.

Had two tight games to start wac but got two close wins now13-4(5-0). also had a scare when my senior pf went out with knee injury as we was only 6 points away from all time school scorer, luckily it was just a strain and he grabed the record.

I love doing that, I had a lengthy career culminating with a championship at Providence, then I left to take Oakland. It's crazy how different it is when you have near-maxed coaching attributes at a small school.

After a few week hiatus, I'm finally returning to the game to start my second season at Samford.

In my first season, I finished 19-12 and made it to the second round, only to lose to Pittsburgh. I lost my best player to the draft, but his replacement is only a sophmore now and made some big plays down the stretch.

I'm excited about what I can do with this team, especially after winning the conference championship in my first season. I may schedule a few tougher OOC games, to help me at the end of the season.. that is to say, if I can win them.

I had a question before I start my first legacy: I notice that the schedules often don't contain conference tourney games. Do I need to add these manually, or are the conference tournaments properly added after the regular seasons? (except for Ivy of course)
