You can still play games online, just you have to go to quick match to get one.

No it's telling me "The 2K Sports service is not available at this time" has anyone else seen this.

Then you press OK. Flick the right stick like you would normally on the online menu and go to game modes. Once you go to game modes go to quick match. Everyone is having that problem but you can still play games online.

I have played alot of different sports games going back to Atari, and the Selection Sunday show (I believe introduced in 2K6) is my favorite "Feature" of all time. It is realistic, immersive and potentially very exciting if you are on the bubble....just a well thought out feature.

I am totally perplexed that EA's NCAA football hasn't done something similiar with the bowl games.

only problem is that if its your first appearance in a career legacy, you'll get the accomplishment BEFORE the show starts

That would irk me, but if you're playing a career legacy, you are most likely making the big dance by winning your conference tournament. Either way, it would be nice to watch the show with a little more excitement before it comes out and tells you that you made the tournament.

most likely yes, but say you have scheduled a good OOC schedule, won 25+ games and then lost a nailbiter in the conference championship game?

Believe me, I'm with you. I'm saying a good percentage of the time, your first trip in a career legacy would be by winning the conference tournament, but if I were to lose and sim through the conference tournament to find out I'm in before the selection show, I'd be a little let down for sure.

The key is not looking at the screen for 15 seconds or so allowing the achievement to go away. The first time this happened to me was very dissapointing. But lesson learned

I noticed something today that I've never seen before. There is a player on my opponent named Thornton. Every time Verne is supposed to say his name, the "ding" of the clock winding down is played instead. I was really confused for awhile trying to figure out if my ears were tricking me. Is this just a freak occurrence or does this always happen with a player named Thornton?

edit: Now I'm not sure. Verne has occasionally been saying Thornton. But I see they have two different guys named Thornton on the court and the "clock winding down *ding*" keeps triggering instead of the name. Really weird

Not on career legacy. However, in any other game mode just press Y or triangle (depending on the console) when you are at the screen where you choose teams/jerseys. There you can customize playbooks, arenas, etc.
